  1. F2P total = 1228 Total Level = 1631. I guess being F2p for 1.5 years helped a little.
  2. The Steam Staff is a Water~Fire combination not Water~Air = Mist. Anyway, the Steam Staff is good for a couple of Lunar Spells at least. : And to anyone posting future ratings - please try and leave your combat level..
  3. He said the ratings could mean whatever we wanted them to mean to us. And to me, 100/100 means that it is the best ever update, not neccesarily perfect. I'm the author. I'm not saying you can't give it that score, but I know the average Runescapian is not exactly.. clever. Just want to clarify what 100/100 is commonly known as - Perfect.
  4. What the heck.. I know each person has their reasons for giving their scores but.. 100/100s already? I thought there'd only be maybe 2 or 3 100/100s after a whole week. Understand that 100/100 is a perfect score, where no improvements can be made. If you can think of even a single impovement to the God Wars Dungeon maybe you should consider whether or not 100/100 is justified.
  5. How popular is the God Wars dungeon? Each time I play for the first time a new, huge, time-devouring update from Jagex I'm never dissapointed. Even if I don't currently have the levels/money for a new update I'm still always happy that it's there even just [wagon] an option for the future. After being on Tipitchat for a couple of days I've seen some players talk about the GWD in disgust, and others saying it's the best one they've ever seen, which made me wonder if it was possibly to get an average scroe for each major update to see how successful they've been.. -------------- Well, it's been a few days since the release of the God Wars dungeon and I think the majority of players should now have at least some experience of it, so I'm asking for each and every player to give his or her rating on it. This whole thread is simply here to get the average player score out of 100 on the God Wars Dungeon and is completely quantitative so the reasons why you give the GWD your score don't affect this in anyway - although if you personally want to write maybe a review on it then I'm sure one of the numerous Runescape newspapers which seem to pop up like rabbits would love to publish it. Just post your rating out of /100 on the August the 27th 2007 God Wars Dungeon update and I'll add it into the overall score and get the average. I'm letting this run for 1 single week from today's date, so if you haven't tried the update yet make sure you do before the 6th of September to give it a score! :) Edit!: Although not necessary it would be nice if you could add in your combat levels when you give your rating so that I can spilt up the results to see how it affected different levels. If you've already posted a rating and want to give your combat level then could you please edit your first post instead of making a new one, thanks. :P Why is it out of 100? Because with 10 you can't vary your score without running into decimal places so it might as well be /100. Bear in mind that what one person's 85/100 may be another player's 67/100, so don't worry about other people's scores. What you think a 90/100 score means is up to you, and how hard it is for an update to get a 90+ score is your decision and yours alone. Judging by the success of this thread I may decied to check the player score for future updates, big or small. Results - after page 3 (49r - ignore, personal use) Overall score = 91.3 / 100 (91.31/100) ̢̢̮ââ‰â¬ÅÃâò0.84 Combat level divided average scores: Combat level ------ Average score 120+ --------------- 98.3 ̢̢̮ââ‰â¬ÅÃâü1.7 119~110 ----------- 91 ̢̢̮ââ‰â¬ÅÃâò2 109~100 ----------- 83.6 ̢̢̮ââ‰â¬ÅÃâò7 99~90 -------------- 86.9 ̢̢̮ââ‰â¬ÅÃâü1.4 89~80 -------------- 99.5 = 79~70 -------------- 88.3 ̢̢̮ââ‰â¬ÅÃâò3.3 69~60 -------------- 10 =
  6. Finally they're starting to understand how to advertise their product properly :P I'd do a better marketing job than the person they've got now!
  7. 24 minutes 16 seconds. Yup, I take my time. *slowly walks away... falls over*
  8. Steam Staff (looks stupid, just like the Air staff and I'm hoping they change it) is dropped by Spiritual Rangers, Warriors and Mages. vvvvvv Check the Lunar spellbook before you call it useless.
  9. ^^^ Not merchanting. Runecrafting is huge money both in F2p and in P2p, or you could try your hand at Rune Mining which is always in demand at no less than 11k per ore.
  10. I knew you would sooner or later :P Like I said, just do another skill until you've built up the money to buy it straight. Think of the amount of time you've spent trying to get it, which could have efficiantly been spent on a money making skill which could have bought the mask in less than a quarter of that time.
  11. Random events never have been random, their whole purpose is to disrupt autoers.
  12. Maybe your avatar felt like he was in a rush to do something else and got a bit.. impatient to get catch some fish. But seriously, did it actually affect how many fish you could catch in a minute compared to normal?
  13. Remeber, with a recent game engine update you can walk/run without stopping to alch, so another item may be the Blood Rune Chest, walk there while alching, pick the lock, go down, search for traps on the chest and get teleported to a nearby house and repeat.
  14. I mean when someone else kills you with it they'll see 230k cash, so I wasn't sure what you yourself would see if you died and went back; the cash or the anchor. It wouldn't be unlimited, you can't drop the anchor again without buying the anchor again remember
  15. If you've got the money to blow and want a unique weapon with a very nice walking/running animation then go for it, although training-wise it's been nerfed heavily since it's release and is possibly a little worse than a scimitar. But I think possibly you could let yourself get skulled and then die with just that item, run back and pick up the 230k (that is unless you just see the anchor again). Don't quote me on that last part.. :uhh:
  16. They've been at that price for at least a few weeks. I sold about 800 3 dose Prayer Potions for 8.5k each in less than 10 minutes of making a thread, and 4 dose Prayer Potions are going for 10kish. The reason is stated above by a few people, harder monsters released with great loot (e.g Mithril Dragons, or more Slayers killing Dark Beasts for the Dark Bow), so more prayer potions are needed. Also I've noticed an increase in the amount of lower levels doing Barrows, so because of their small defense and prayer level they're going to be demanding more prayer potions.

Oops, forgot to edit out all the mod stuff.. Anyway, this is as many worlds I can get on my own. Although all this oragnising may have been wasted if anyone read today's BTS for August, Jagex are planning to release something which tells us what the 'official worlds' are. :|
  18. I don't think they should raise any levels to be above 99, the Xp for something like level 110 is just stupid to be honest. Instead my idea is for Jagex to make more new sets of armour - such as the new Void Knight gear - which when the complete set is worn it will give the player a boost in certain skills. For instance they could release a set which when all the pieces are worn (eg. a set with a torso, legs and helm. Or another with gloves, torso, boots and legs) could give you an automatic and permenant +10HP levels, so no matter what level HP you are, you'll always get +10Hp added from that set. Some might argue that the more powerful sets would give too much of a stat boost, but to compenstate for that, each piece of the set could be dropped from different monsters with a low drop rate. I personally reckon that'd be the best thing Jagex could possibly do in the future. :-w
  19. Well well well, turns out Jagex really have been listening to the demands of the masses. I remember the old Clan riots (picture on page 1) when they were demanding support. People just don't consider that it still does take many months to bring a new idea into the game. When the BTS mentioned monsters frozen in time coming back alive all I could think of were the DragonKin, but alas, it seems it's a different flying beast.
  20. My two goals were to complete all the Quests, which I've done, and to go from 70 Runecrafting to 75, and maybe 77 which I have barely started on.. Runecrafting Xp = hell.
  21. I hate dealing with children.. Especially American ones! :XD: Mate, look at the time of the posts. Mine was a minute after yours, which means that when I clicked to post a reply, your message was not there yet. -.- Sigh..
  22. I answered the question already Grow up and look at the time of the posts. :|
  23. You can plant as many trees as there are tree/fruit tree patches. So you can have I think.. over 8 at least.

Gah! The powers that be say that this is not to become a sticky as I wished in the Help & Advice forum.. Apparently it seems that Tip.it has swollen so much from increased users that it's not feasable to have certain kinds of stickies! :XD: I would however like to thank Tip.it Mod Kill Life for his valient efforts with this. It seems that it would be better if this topic was moved into the PMG, possibly more useful than page one milliong of H&A, so I have to report this topic and get it moved.
  25. 10 prayer pots?! That's like 85k! You must have only just made a profit from your amazingly lucky Dharok torso. I told you! Get your Prayer to 50+ (try for 60) and then I'll show you how to Barrow like a man! :D
