Post your Manage thy Kingdom results.
You do realize your kingdom was running below par from day one and only got worse, right? To get the full work out of it your coffers need at LEAST 750k in them each day (if you've done Royal Trouble.) because your workers pull out 10% of the total amount in there with a max withdrawal of 75k a day. So when you did it, the first day they only used 70k, the next day they only used 63k, the day after that they used 57.5k, and after a while I'm guessing they weren't using much of anything. They way to figure out how much you need is by taking the number of days and multiplying by 75,000. Then you add another 750k to make sure your last day counts all the way, but if you make sure to pull it out you'll still have 600k+ in your pocket when you're done. So 2 1/2 weeks (17 days) would have been 17*75000=1,275,000+750,000=2,025,000 in the coffers for full productivity with 680k cash in your pocket once you collect at the end. Ah, that's just the equation I needed, thanks! Although with the new Grand Exchange prices I do wonder what to put workers on (after maples) seeing that herbs have gone down in price a lot..

Digsite+New Island=Summoning?
Ooo hey, that reminds me, there's that 3rd piece of the Summoning logo on that mug of coffee. I know quite a few people joined up the first two pieces but I can't remember where that thread has gone now. If someone from that thread sees this thenget combining!

Runescape wrong pronunciations?
As with Fook, I just respond to "****" or "Um ****" as it seems that know one that plays Runescape knows of the drink Um Bongo, and assume my name is Um Bong -.-

Gielinor Tribune: 15th Edition (Dec. 15th) ~MSSW&RSUpdates~
From reading that interview, it looks like you just sent DBZ a list of questions with spaces for his answers.. I'm not telling you how to run this thing, but to me, that is just a slightly personalised survery, and not an interview, which would explain why whe I read it it felt like it was done by a computer. Get on msn/IRc and actually talk to the person whilst directing questions, instead of throwing a list of questions at them and waiting until they send the reply back. I'm not trying to claim that the current method is terrible, but don't just interview someone for the sake of interviewing them.. :|

Suicide a sympathy lie, only 1 suicide over rs before!
People use the suicide story way too much, so I just ignore them all to be honest. If someone really did die then I'd doubt it would ever be posted on the official forum or otherwise. And I love that newspaper thing. I know so many people that have fallen for something from that site.

Wow, RuneScape players are sure gullible.
 That was evil. That's real you know. In fact, I'm there now!

13 December 2007 - "A Word About Our Updates" + Wallpaper
Wow, with all the big changes recently, finding out what will come out of those mysterious little coloured eggs feels like an anti-climax.. :|

Well.. that was.. weird.. Instead of the usual friendly task of 'Um Bongo, please bring me the meat of a 3 tailed pheasant' that I'm used to.. Freaky Forester wanted me to 'Make them pay for suggesting the Wilderness update to Jagex. Let the land become stained forever in their blood'.. :-s Damn things kept respawning.. I tried as hard as I could to kill them all off, but a pickaxe can only go so far.. :?

Suicide over recent update? (And other RL events)
Bahahah. I'm sorry but that's quite funny. I may have only known two people that died (still more than most), but in my experience and common sense, this whole story is a complete fabrication. So, you hear about your close 'friend' committing suicide, and that very same day of his death you deciede to make a post on the Runescape Official Forum about it..? I know some people in this world can be like that though, so, moving on.. You're probably the parents/guardians of this boy, and on the day of his death you announce the funeral to be held just 2 days later. Talk about getting it over and done with, eh. :| Once again, I know this world is heavily populated, and despite my.. disbelief of it all, I'm sure that in some backwater town there are probably people who do this kind of thing. If the case of this suicide turns out to be the truth, then I agree with what others have said; this boy shouldn't have been alive in the first place. I especially agree with Sumpta's analogy of her boyfriend dumping her, and then blaming her resulting suicide on him. If you've chosen to use the internet as your escape from reality then to be honest you deserve whatever you get from the seemingly limitless stupidity, cruelty and ignorance of people online.

33-70 Construction: Limestone or Larders?
May I direct you in full to some advice from the great 'Shadow7' which helped me so much that I went from 40 something Construction to 70 in around 3 days. Basically anything you can. It's kind of annoying until you can make oak stuff. Probably 500-1k normal planks should be plenty. You'll want about 3 iron nails per planks; one bar makes 15 nails, so that shouldn't be as hard as it sounds. If the nails annoy you, don't worry; you don't need them once you get above oak. Oak stuff. Larders (look at the Kitchen) are faster, armor stands (look at the Skill Hall) are cheaper if you have the requirements to build them. I myself use larders. There are two major things I recommend in every house, and you want these things to be close together and near your portal. One is a chapel, the other is teleportation. First of all, keep in mind that if you end up so your portal isn't near the things you like, you can always build a garden somewhere else then build a portal in there instead. So, the most important thing is keeping the chapel and teleportation rooms all next to each other; you can get a portal nearby one of these usually. Anyway, you want the chapel for two reasons. First, it gives you an easy place to recharge prayer, which is useful in many situations. Second, if you plan to TRAIN prayer, you'll want a Chapel with the best altar and burners. You can use a bone on the altar and, if the burners are lit, you'll get 3.5x as much exp as you normally would. Offering a bone is even faster than burying it, so that's a great way to train. As for teleportation, there are TWO kinds of rooms you need. First, you'll want a Quest Hall. In the Quest Hall, you can mount a dragon amulet. This mounted amulet provides UNLIMITED teleports as long as you can touch it. This is very useful for teleporting out of the house. Second, you'll want a Portal Chamber. These rooms allow you to direct portals with 7 of the teleport spells in the game (you can read up on which ones in the Portal Chamber section of the Knowledge Base, under Construction). I would HIGHLY recommend you have a portal directed to Canifis, as you would normally one have access to spell when equipped with Ancient Magics. If you set a portal to teleport here, you can teleport to your house then run through this portal to get to Canifis. Other than that, it's up to you what other portals you want. Myself, I have 2 portal chambers directed to every possible place except Lumbridge (I rarely need to go there, and Home Teleport can take me there, anyway). I have my house set up like this. I have the portal to my house (in the garden). To the right of that is my chapel. Below the chapel is my Quest Hall. To the right of my Quest Hall is one portal chamber (it has Canifis, Falador, and Varrock teleports). Below the Quest Hall is a Skill Hall (this has nothing to do with teleporting). To the right of that Quest Hall is my second portal chamber (Ardgourne, Yanille, Camelot). I put the portals in such a way that one room has everything to the east of Falador and the other has everything to the west of Falador. This was only to make it easier for me to find a portal I don't use often, though; it has no practical reason for being this way. Servants do many things, but there two main uses are that (once they reach a certain level, at least), they can take a noted item to the bank for you and un-note it, and they can take logs to the bank to turn into planks. I'll explain why this is useful later. Anyway, servants get 8 uses after you pay them. You have to pay them whatever their starting wage is after every 8 uses (they'll ask for their pay). Get the Demon Servant as soon as you can. He comes back with your things in a few seconds. The prices can be found in the Knowledge Base. Anyway, here's my advice for power-training once you hit the right level (before that, just push through with normal chairs and such). As soon as you can build stairs, build a Quest or Skill Hall with a set of stairs going up one flight. Build a Skill or Quest Hall up there. Next to the Skill or Quest Hall, build a Kitchen. However, build it in the right direction such that the larder spot is right next to the Skill/Quest Hall on the second floor. Make sure these are the only things on your second floor. Also, on the first floor, build a Dining Hall with a bell somewhere close to where these stairs are. Why did you do all this? Here's why. Go to your house with thousands of noted oak logs, a lot of money (I mean like millions if you have it), a saw, and a hammer. Summon your butler by ringing the bell in the Dining Room (this will bring him right to you). Use the noted oak logs on him. Ask him to bring you back 24 of them. As soon as he leaves, run to the stairs but don't go up yet. When he comes back, he'll give you un-noted oak logs. Use these on him and tell him to take them to the sawmill. As soon as he leaves, go up the steps, then stand next to the larder spot. That only has to be done once. From that point on, your GOLDEN. When he comes back, it HAS to be either in the Skill Hall or the Kitchen, because those are the only two rooms on the floor your in. Also, you made sure the larder was right next to the skill hall (right?), so no matter where he spawns in the two room, he'll only be like a second away from you. When he comes back with the oak planks, immediately, send him to un-noted 24 more oak logs. Then, start building/tearing down larder. Each larder takes 8 planks, so you'll only need to build three. He'll probably come back before you're done; don't worry. He'll hold the extra logs for you as long as you don't tell him to take them to the bank. Once you've built your third larder, click on your Butler (he'll simply stand next to you waiting for you to take the logs) and he'll give you the remaining un-noted logs. You should now have 24 oak logs again. Use one on him and tell him to take 24 to the sawmill. As soon as he leaves, tear down the remaining larder and wait for him to return. Once he returns and gives you the planks, tell him to take 24 noted logs to the bank and bring back 24 un-noted ones. And then continue with the pattern. I can get around 150k exp an hour doing this. One tip. You WILL get random events in your house. Whenever possible, ALWAYS respond to the event when you have a full inventory. That way, if it's a gem or something, it'll just fall to the ground. However, you CANNOT drop items in building mode, which means that you basically have to start everything over again if you get a gem in your inventory. The only event this should be a problem with is the Mystery Box; with everything else, you can choose when you get the item. Of course, for some random events, it's not a problem either way; for example, with a genie, simply use the lamp and it disappears; or, if you get a piece of food, eat it. I'm sorry it's a bit lengthy, but it really is useful. The part in red is the part that got me the levels so quick. You will spend a bomb, but the levels will fly.

Summoning Release date.
Just so you know, you wont get 91 Runecrafting by January. I'd love for you to prove me wrong, but 63 to 91 Runecrafting in less than a month is just silly.

(Title Edit:) What To Do With Iron Knives?
You know what.. I think I'll use my 1000th post here, simply because you've got a Calvin & Hobbes avatar and signiture. I digress. I'm personally the skilling type, making just enough money for something to eat. I reckon you should be able to guess what I would choose just from that.. Sub-Choice B. Use all of the iron knives to get 70 ranged and do Roving Elves, if you couldn't guess. If you've got the opportunity to hit a level as important in Ranging as 70, then I think you should just take it, instead of selling the knives and later worrying about trying to buy enough ammo to hit 70 Range. Skills over money I guess.. Oh yeah, I missed the second part. I would always go with Blue Dragons as they are quite simply my favourite monster in the whole game. I've gone up numerous Prayer levels without having to buy a single Dragon Bone as the Dragons provided me with all I need. Not only that, but with the amount of Blue Dragonhide I've collected I should go up a good few Crafting levels, and the sheer amount of money I've made from the Level 3 Clues they drop is ridiculous. The one problem with Blue Dragons is; they're rubbish unless you can get yourself 70 Agility (something which I spent a week working on just to kill Blue Dragons more efficiantly, definatly worth being on Ape Atoll for that long).

Is it me or do you think of this too?
You stop being a minor at 18. 80% of Runescape players are most likely under that age and therefore minors.

30 November 2007 - Party Room Changes
I welcome this update firstly because it makes sense in terms on cutting down Real World Trading, and secondly because Jagex actually came out with their reasoning for the decision in the actual news itself; I assume they learnt their lesson with the whole Duel Arena change ranting where they suggested that the decision to bring in the 3k limit was to encourage the tournament mode, when in actual fact it was all for RWT. From now on if you want to have a small party with some of your closest friends without the whole server knowing you'll just have to use the old 'Drop Party' method.

Prayer pot price drop
It's just this whole rush of players selling out their banks with the introduction of the Grand Exchange, that's all. I'm sure if you just wait a week or two prices should return to what we're used to seeing. ..I hope.

Friend's House
The 'Home Teleport' spell will, of course, teleport you to your home, and not anyone elses. If you want to go to someone elses house then you just have to make your way to whichever area portal they use. (eg. Yanille house portal, Taverly)

10hp way to Runecraft?
Go with a Runecrafting company, either World 16 Airs or World 66 Laws. Personally I've tried both (Airs 44 - 70. Laws 70 - 75) and honestly I will never use W66 Laws again. Took slightly longer (because traders don't really go into the altar to trade) and cost an absolute bomb.

Just incase anyone was unsure about what happens when you have an item that was placed into the GE before a price update; Even if it's over the new max price it stays the same.
