Tormented Demons Solo and Duo Guide
Damn I feel stupid lol. I didn't know that piece of trash was actually used for anything but it's spec in pvp. I sold mine straightaway in the GE when I got those as a drop.

What computer do you play runescape on?
I don't have fancy equipment and still my wrists and vision will be probably destroyed :(.

Huh? 5M loot is nice, but wtf have you been doing in those 35 trips then? There's people getting over 10m in loot, and I personally had 6m in loot solo hybridding, and that's with just one archer as big drop (1 mud and 1 seercull to, but do those even count). That's what a Yak does for you :-).

Extremes vrs Supers
I've read countless discussions about "opportunity cost" and the like, but this is probably the best example that I've come across that explains why the "if I gather it myself, then it's free" way of thinking is totally wrong. As to the original question, I just recently got 90 herblore and 92 prayer. With healing familiars I rarely have a need to use soul split, but I use extreme strength and attack on nearly every slayer task. Honestly though, neither is probably as game changing as you think that it's going to be. Maybe for boss monsters or PvP having higher prayer will come out ahead, but I don't actually do much of that so I can't really say. Ever thought about not bringing your healing familiar, but bringing another familiar (combat familiar if multi, bob for banking drops, forager for 80k extra an hour) and making more out of your task? You can easily flash soul split, so no extra prayer consumed.

Kills/H at DKs
No more suggestions, comments, ... ? I'm sure some of you pro-dkers have some secrets/hints/tips I'm gearing up right now and am deciding between whip and SGS. I will be ranging in crossbow and DFS and brining SGS in any case for its specs. Now i'm deciding whether to use it as a main weapon too. I can bring whip, and with protect item, I won't even be risking it, but is this even needed, when SGS might be just as good? (+ sgs has got a nice prayer bonus)

Kills/H at DKs
Thanks. If I will piety/eagle eye I will flash it though, so it shouldn't really drain prayer more. Not sure if flashing piety will give me more defence against spyno's, but in any case I am able to stay there 3 hours on just brews, which seems long enough (unless I can do 5 and do the task in one go). I was also wondering whether nobody has tried to hybrid Supreme and Rex yet? This would have quite a few advantages IMO: 1) They have the highest valued drops (Supreme has seercull, but 1 Archer + 1 Seercull > 1 Mudd staff + 1 Seers) 2) They are killed the fastest 3) No worries about Prime (you will have protect from magic on att all times) 4) You can soul split on rex to heal => Damn, just realised you can't use deflect magic and soul split at once. Never mind I guess. Still, with turmoil and good gear you shouldn't take too much damage tanking supreme. Not sure if it's feasible for a whole trip though.

That doesn't take soul split into account though. Flashable soul split is a godsent for any slayer task. I never need food now.

Soloing Tormented Demons..
You will, but you won't be too efficient because of your low ranged. Taking the shield off can take quite a long time, so the difference between being able to do it in 1 shield, and 2 (or 2 and 3) is pretty big, so you are slowed down more than you would just assume by looking at your stats. I would try it and see if you can get it down within 2-3 shields regularly. If not, don't bother and get at least 90 ranged, att, str.

Kills/H at DKs
You mean full black d'hide + stole in stead of Verac skirt + crystal bow? I personally consider fury too good to actually swap it for anything really, tbh. It seems to be the best combination of offence, defence and prayer for an ammy, whereas any alternative is always only good in one part. About piety (or turmoil): I didn't use this because I would have enough time before Prime spawned anyway. I guess I could move to busier worlds though, so I will be "forced" to use piety/turmoil and get quicker kills. I was also debating between normal prayers or curses. Normal prayers would allow me to flash eagle eye and piety, whereas curses allow me to deflect quite a bit of damage on Prime, and also get better sgs specs due to turmoil giving bigger bonuses.

Gradually Buy Prayer or Herblore?
True. IF you have the money to do that it is the best way to go. It's just that if you want pretty much free xp without the hassel of getting expensive seconds and herblore is something that you're just doing inbetween your usual training irits are in fact the best way to do that. But for numbers: With snapdragons you're paying 350 gp per pot for seconds + herb cost of 86k/6=14,3k which translates into 14,65k/142,5=102,8 gp/xp . At 67 farming and cadantines you're paying 2,7k/6= 450 gp per herb, 1,2k per seconds which translates into 1,65k/150=11 gp/xp. Which are both way more expensive going 11 to 100 times over the 1gp/xp for attack potions. And all that is not even taking into the equation of the time of getting all the seconds for your pots, where as in newt eyes it is real simple. I'd still go with - bury your 20M into prayer and just farm those irits when herblore is not the main skill you're after. Lol, that is a completely flawed argument, because you sell your finished super restores for over 10x the price of your finished attack potions. I honestly hope you don't believe your own [cabbage]. "taking the time to get the seconds in the equation": Wtf? You are first telling me you are PAYING for them (which means no time at all because of the GE) and then suddenly you assume you gather the seconds yourself. Next time, try to be consequent. Also, don't mix skills up. You have farming, and you have herblore. Because of the GE it's better to to both in their own best way, in stead of trying some "combo" way where you compromise in both areas. This is of course if you want to be efficient, and not a DIY guy.

What computer do you play runescape on?
I just work on one computer. 23" screen with 2 internet browsers opened. Does the job for me. (I could technically dual screen with my laptop but I dont see how it would help)

Tormented Demons Solo and Duo Guide
I got around 30 with cannon and ags in 1 hour, but cannon blows up making you lose like 1m/hr Tried whip/gs and rcb and broads and got around 25 kills an hour How does it blow up? If it decays you can get it back for free, but I guess the TDs destory it after a while? I heard steel titan can get 40+ kills an hour. (look it up on youtube)

Why has cannoning at Green Dragons ...
Ow, so it's you who invented this and spread the word around through your many many friends because you are very popular. Now I understand.

Herblore Help
The GE makes it very easy to buy pots, so no, DONT make inefficient pots, just because you need them. Also, bladewing was referring to the fact that it's better to clean herbs and get 100-150k xp an hour and profit, than to make pots, gain 200k xp an hour, and make huge losses, UNLESS you make 4M an hour. He doesn't factor in how hard cleaning herbs is though, IMO.

Kills/H at DKs
Bump. I got another DK task of 180 and thinking of a setup that would last me an entire trip OR just going for 2 (faster, because I won't compromise for prayer bonus) trips. I'm thinking perhaps at solo trybridding, but I'm not sure how feasible it is to consistently kill all 3, and I don't like the risks involved when I will be alone there doing something new. I'm also debating between rune crossbow + dfs vs. crystal bow. Last trip I used rune crossbow + dfs and used 200 runite bolts for 100 kills (50 primes), so the cost of the bolts is not really a problem. I only got attacked two times I think by supreme while ranging with the crossbow, so that doesnt seem too much of a problem either. I also used full black dhide with this setup, in stead of verac skirt + black d'hide top, because dfs would still give me decent defence bonus (I get better mage and range def bonuses with full black dhide and dfs than v skirt + dhide top and crystal bow), and it would help me to kill prime faster, the slow factor of the whole process. I'm just concerned about the +4 prayer loss, and if the +20 range attack would help this much.

Gradually Buy Prayer or Herblore?
If you are going to farm, you might as well farm the most profitable herb... It doesn't make sense to farm a herb that profits much less just because the seeds cost less, or you want the herb for herblore. The GE makes selling and rebuying something else way too easy, so you might as wel farm the most profitable herb, sell it, and buy the most cost efficient herb for herblore.

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
maxed gear and im getting torn apart, also all the guides are worng, they say unagro after 10:30, well on my best inv i lasted 13:30 and tehy where still agro..... but i got 38 crims in 13:30 so im pulling 175 crims/h with my nooby stats Wtf? Are you bringing cantristenons brew inventory (look at his guide p3 or 4) Are you using piety and protect from ranged during agressive phase Are you using your sgs specs wisely Are you making sure you stay in one part of the room. If not, agressiveness will reset. Are you trying to avoid attracting other waterfiends unnecessarily (to pick up a drop for instance, while you can wait till that fiend is wandering off) Are you piling the same fiend as your familiar, so less fiends are alive at once Are you using a low populated world for low respawn times You are right though ath aggro phase is sometimes longer for some reason.

Solo Bandos Guide
Rahzam: I guess you bring zammy d'hide just for kc and you bank it right after? If not that seems a pointless risk. You kill the minis with soul split, I assume? What's the invo for the yak? Just full of brews? Why not a warrior ring? Or No spec restores? Any other special tactics? (like how many people on worlds)
-
Special Restore Potions
Yep, I personally made 500 and they don't seem to be running out any time soon. On the spec restores: with an SGS, one spec restore gives 2 specs, which heal 150 LP each on average (rough conservative guess, assuming you hit 300 on average). This way, one spec restore is 1.5 sharks, or if you want it in GP, over 2k gp. That's not too bad, and I'm not even considering the saved costs from the ppoints (which is roughly 15 prayer points per pot, or 1/6 of a prayer potion (3), which is another 1.5k gp).
-
Overloads
I concur with this, although I wouldn't make 3.5k overloads. I am personally making about 2700 overloads, and for the rest of the experience I am making extreme attack and extreme strength potions for use on slayer tasks. Overloads are very expensive and you shouldn't use them unless you benefit from doing so. Extreme attacks and strengths together cost over 20k and give you 470 (?) experience. That's more gp/xp than overloads. In both methods, you get a useful pot back, however in the case of extreme attacks and strength, you are paying more and you aren't even getting the defence boost, let alone ranging or magic (in case you would use them, which is, I admit, rarely). I assume you don't use overloads for slaying because you don't ilke the -500 LP effect of it, but as someone who has been slaying with them for quite some time (90-95 slayer) I can tell you that it isn't any problem whatsoever.
-
Special Restore Potions
Yeah, I use them daily. Bring them whenever you have open inventory spaces. Try to get at least claws or sgs to get decent use out of them. I bring claws for every Kuradal dungeon task and mostly 5-10 spec restore pots. I also bring just spec restores and SGS for nech tasks, and survive this way, in stead of bringing food (I use iron titan) allthough soul split would do the job too. I would only make 500-1000 super antifires and rest spec restores.
-
97-99 range
You are overestimating the monsters. You don't need bandos tassets, nor do you need dragon boots. Just go with full armadyl (why don't you want it, you can easily resell, it won't crash below 15m any time soon) and ranging boots if you can afford (snakeskin is very decent and so much cheaper so you might wanna use that). If you ever need extra defence (which I doubt with Unicorn/bunyip and EE), bring something in the shield spot (BSS or DFS), otherwise zammy book. Remember that in Kuradal's dungeon, fast weapons are favored because of the +40 on every hit, so try to use darts/knives there if you can. (maybe not on dark beasts, abby demons and metal drags because of their high defence). Try also to get a geyser titan asap, the best ranged combat familiar after the steel titan. It will be very useful for dust devil tasks, nech tasks and bloodveld tasks.
-
Overloads
I would only get overloads if you have enough to get 99 herblore at once with it. Making extreme sets on their own, or just a few overloads for usage (and not xp) are both not very efficient. However, if you make 3.5k overloads for 90-99 (this is including making the extremes required for overloads), you will pay roughly 30 gp/xp, which is of course expensive, HOWEVER, you will end up with USEFUL pots, in stead of nothing (when doing brews and reselling, which is also something around 30 gp/xp including reselling) or something pretty useless (super antifires, spec restores, extreme mage pots). (spec restores are actually very useful, but not in the amounts that you will produce when you get 99 off it (40k+)

A guide to soloing the King Black Dragon
Nice guide, but I think you should add more on summons. For high lvls, there is really too much choice: Pack yak: Easy banking of your hides and bones Unicorn: Don't need any food, or barely any Steel titan: Faster kills Lava titan: Can tele each kill and recharge prayer I personally prefer a pack yak. I would also like to add that for high lvls, you can bring 100% basket of strawberries. Maybe one or two sharks/brews (I say brew because I overload) for emergencies, but normally I never have to eat mid fight. I'm very glad other people have found out how completely amazing strawberries are here. I never end up being bored and waiting for spawns because of it (keeps you busy) and it's so damn cheap :-). However, recently with soul split, I think strawberries have become totally obsolete. I haven't tested it solo, but duo'ing (and crashing/getting crashed a few times) I could survive perfectly by flashing soul split every now and then. I did eat some strawberries though, just out of easyness. Soul split means you will tank, so tanking outfit would be suggested. I personally wear V skirt, BCP, Slayer helm/Neit/..., SW cape, drag boots, zerker ring, Z spear and fury.

Speedkilling Rock Lobsters
I belive extremes only effect the monster you are targeting and as such are not worth it. Yep, but he needs extremes to cast ice barrage.
