yh I do. Also, that Amon Marth is really quite good, until that guy starts singing. I think I'd like it better instrumental.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
That's exactly why I'm agnostic. When I was about 12 or so, I asked myself if I would be the same person if I stopped going to church. The answer was yes and then I wondered why I even went in the first place! At one point I figured I had just lost faith, but I really didn't have any to begin with. A lot of 'Christians' that I know don't have any faith either and just go to church to make themselves feel like good people. Then there are the hardcore Christians that are actually rather scary... o.o Or there's just good all around people who happen to be Christian, and it has positively affected their lives, and caused them to be better people. Right.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
1) True... yeah 2) Why does the subject matter change the definition of the term "lyrics" 3) O 4)What I was trying to say, is if someone from Spain could move to Mexico where despite different dialects, it's still relatively similar. But the point being most from poorer countries move to America because they have no choice. 5) Obama. gotcha. 6) nvm 7) it's simply an intriguing advertising model. *blurb* meh k I still hold my reserves

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
You didn't. I think we kinda strayed away from your post after like one or two posts. However, you did express the idea that if you could easily flip flop. Well, flip flop isn't really the right phrase, I guess you could say just switching religions. Wha? I mean, first off, its not wise to stand up for yourself when you live in your parents house. Sometimes you have to let your morals/principles slide for a bit, it doesn't make you passive aggressive snides at all. I'm thinking you're thinking of a certain irl incident and projecting it onto us. Because those are some pretty personal words.

Oh. Heh. I for one wasn't really discussing the idea of confirmation, but more of the idea that flip flopping on religion is no biggie. 2) Christianity doesn't oppose homosexuality in the slightest, only Christians do. And I'm actually getting kinda tired atm so I don't feel like explaining it. But I'll try: Rules in the Bible fall under dos catergories: 1) Man's rules 2) God's rules now, I wanna say 100%, but to be honest I really haven't studied all of the gay verses, but the ones I have are ones made of man. Despite grecian men getting it on, homophobia was extremely more prevalent back then. So most of that crap in leviticus was man's law. 2) Gods rules, 10 commmandments etc say nothing of gay sex. Sure it might imply it by saying a man and woman in general but still... im rly tired edit: Besides, *based on my beliefs mind you* since God loves us, we woulnd't be born being unable to change us, so destined to hell. People tend to use examples as priests and serial killers. (I'm not suggesting you were going to) 1) Priests choose to be celibate, God doesn't force them to be. It's purely free will. 2)Serial killers are products of the dehumanization and destruction of the human psyche and soul. They weren't born that way, they were made that way. Also, many serial killers I sincerely believe did/will go to heaven if they repented. Ofc we're going to assume for the sake of my argument heaven is real.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
1) Everyone hates windows 98, but at least its not Windows ME. *vomits* 2) Rap is amazing. Though Country Music I really do hate, while I do like Taylor Swift.' 3) From my superficial examination, you seem a tad extremist yourself. 4) So what if you move to Korea to find a better job, because the place you're at is so poor and dangerous you might die if you stay. Are you saying you'd never ONCE ask "hey do you speak english?" Never? Never? I know I would! 5) Teleprompters? That places the whole post under suspicion for being sarcastic. 6) There are two things in life I am sure of. 1) Dr pepper is my favorite soda. 2)Everyone knows where Canada and Mexico is, the ones who don't are goofing around trolling you. 7) How do you hate Apple and Microsoft? Wtf? Linux? idk but ok. Also, itunes truly are (or at least the beginning models) revolutionary. And I love them. Now, from reading that list I am going to pull out my crystal ball, and I will tell you what kind of person you are. Correct me if I'm wrong, I guess. You're a republican, you live in an urban, or at least slightly urbanized part of the country where education isn't the easiest to be had. People stereotype you in with the other republicans/conservatives when you're not really like them, and because of your preference for rock etc/ over rap they "accuse" you of essentially playing your banjo in your south Alabama farm shooting wetbacks and sheep. (I don't mean anything racist) Now I would say you are generally accepting of other cultures, but I think that the inability to communicate with those of different ethnicities disparages you since you live with many of them. I could go on but i have to do a load of laundry.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
Three of the stupid, over-used arguments set by religous folk. 1) Any statement against religion must of been said in the extreme sense. 2) Specific morals. You completely forgot the more basic ones: theft murder, honor, loyalty, family. You don't have those? 3) Famous person X renounced their religion before they died! So I'm not going to argue against those stupid rebuttals. If you can even call them that. i like how you mooooove groooooovey dooooood. 1) Not necessarily, you're completely right, however you do tend to speak in extremes Mr. Boyardee. 2)I actually don't. The only reason why I'm against abortion is because the baby is defenceless. 3) That was a fun fact. I was watching a video and that thought popped in my head, my psych teacher told us that a year ago. It wasn't related to the conversation. Well.. Thanks for your time :) @ Harrinator, you're absolutely right, *And I am serious when I say the following statement* I may be a myopic crazy old hypocritical fool, Im not discounting that at all, I'm merely saying what I believe Pasta's views to be. I know I am for one, a huge hypocrite (kinda directed at Napalm) and I do tend to pass judgments too quickly (a fool) but I don't think I'm crazy.... And I don't really think I should be the one to judge if I'm nearsighted or not. Anyways. Also, I wasn't angry at Nick at all, I guess you could/should say that I'm more pissed at Atheists in general who act like all Religions make you a bigot no matter what, or at the very least Christianity. @ Napalm. Yea, I posted that and while I was at work a for a few hours I mentally added it up, it's closer to 2500, though thats a complete estimate, it might be 6,000, might be 800. Anyways, 1)Many Christians don't follow the 10 commandments exactly. Now, I am not at all saying it is acceptable, nor am I excusing my behavior, but for all the Christians that stayed up late drinking and missed church? Technically you just broke a commandment. And if you're like me and lie to your parents so you don't have to go to church you just broke like.... 4... Hehe. Anyways, I know many people who find it acceptable to dabble around with Tarot cards, or cuss out their parents, or skip church, or get envious of their neighbors new car, they are technically defying practically half of them. However, they may be still amazing Christians, morals tend not to be cut and dry. Thats my personal opinion, my parents for one say they are very cut and dry but meh. And I can't really say if Christianity has changed my morals at all, partly because I've always been a Christian. But I'm sure I wouldn't be where I'm at right now (in a bad way) if I was an Atheist. edit: I just realized I'm the only one on this forum who shares the same beliefs as me :(

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
A decission so unimportant doesn't need maturity to be taken. So a decision that affects every major decision you will ever make isn't important? Ok if you say so. i agree. It doesn't affect every major decision. You won't stop going to school because of it, you won't change friends because of it, you won't get a different job because of it (unless you had priest in mind, lol). Religion is just a way of thinking, not of acting. You can still be nice and charitative without believing in god, etc etc etc. Religion is usually what sets your morals. It effects how you view things, it will effect everything. You believing it wont is just proof you shouldn't make that type of decision yet. That, or you will say you're "Atheist" but you won't really mean it. No, your upbringing sets your morals. A kid watching his parents get drunk, high, lazy, and selfish, wouldn't grow up to be the next Mother Teresa. I was never religious, but I have a morals similar to Christians. My parents taught me morals, where they got from their parents (they weren't very religious neither). Our society is based on Christian values, so the "correct" set of morals comes from the Bible. But that doesn't mean you have to be religious to learn it. If religious affects everything you do, then you might be a bigot. Other than in Church, I don't see how believing in Jesus or Mohammad could affect you in any way. As a society we all have similar morals, so religion is useless at that. Just be an atheist, whoever started this whole thing. You can change your mind later...but I doubt it. I think thats the only slanderous statement that really bugs me. Christianity/religion doesn't make anyone bigoted, human nature makes us bigoted. Geez this forum needs to get that in their head. Btw, I like that factual statement saying we are taught the moral by our parents? I share only one moral with my parents, I don't approve of abortion. Thats it. And just because you can't see it doesn't mean we should suffer from your myopic outlook. Fun fact: Mother Teresa renounced her religion close to death. (Well... ok technically she didn't fully renounce it, but she confessed to the Vatican she can't believe in a god that allows all of this bad crap to happen) And that's your opinion that changing a religion is easy, most likely I deduce because you don't consider the possible religions out there as have any basis (I guess I might be wrong), I for one, while firmly believe in Christianity (and I am sure I will never change my mind) I still wonder if the other religions have any basis. Now saying this doesn't weaken my faith in Jesus, as it wouldn't weaken your faith in the belief of nothingness, but if you keep your mind open you might grasp the impact of it. I've only heard of people flip flopping religions like in satiric tv comedies. Edit: I'm not saying there's anything bad with believing religion has little impact, I'm simply debating differing opinions.

Vuvuzelas in runescape ?
Reading the news, huh? Find me the word "vuvuzela" on any of these front pages (or any other legitimate new source). Yahoo: Top Stories MSN: Top Stories CNN: Top Stories Time: Top Stories Not everyone clicks the sports tab and certainly NO ONE will randomly search for a word as obscure as "vuvuzela." Just because someone doesn't care about a sport, doesn't mean they're stupid. Where will it get you in life knowing who won the World Cup in 1966 (or 2010 for that matter)? Oh, it won't get you anywhere. Instead of being so condescending, why don't you help the unenlightened learn? Perhaps it's because you're an arrogant individual who thinks he's better than everyone else. Wake up, you're not. Get over yourself and learn not to be an ass to everyone you talk to. After a 5 second search on CNN: http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/meast/07/10/uae.vuvuzela.ban/index.html?iref=allsearch Ya... one of the thousand examples I can give you of the news mentioning the World Cup and Vuvuzelas. If you're implying that everyone is equal and no one is more intelligent than anyone else, you're hilariously wrong. People who don't read the news on a regular basis (searching Vuvuzela isn't reading the news) are ignorant and stupid. In the past 3 weeks i've read about 4 or 5 stories mentioning Vuvuzelas on the news. Who cares about the World Cup? I'll tell you. Sports fans. ON every continent. Not a sports fan? %100 chance you're not gonna know, or give a [bleep] about it. (Pardon the language) That. It. Is. No no spammer, if you must spam you gotta do it so it looks like you're adding something to the topic. Like this sentence I'm typing at the moment, has absolutely nothing to do with the current topic. If I hadn't posted the quote above me, technically I'd be spamming. However it's generally accepted that you can spam as long as its not serious spam, and this parargraph still has nothing to do with this topic. So technically this is all spam, yet as stated it's still allowed because I'm chastising a fellow forum member, and all I have to do is post maybe 1-3 words at the end and this whole damn post becomes relavant. Now watch as I convert an entire post from spam, to an opinionated educated response to the topic at hand. Ready, set, go. Vuvuzelas are epic
