  1. LOL. if you don't have enough food\water, communism isn't going to help. If it's never worked before, why would it now?
  2. Statically religious people are happier. Happier people are generally more productive and pleasant. people strive for happiness in their, some make it their center objective (which is funny because its subjective :P) I really question where you're getting those statistics from.. From my own observation, one's religion, or lack thereof really has very little effect on one's happiness. I've met some very happy atheists and very unhappy and bitter atheists. Likewise, I've met some very happy theists and very unhappy and bitter theists. That said, I might be able to agree that people with strong beliefs/non-beliefs have a slight tendency to be happier. Well there will always be exceptions. And at Romy's post above me, you are correct in that correlation does not automatically mean causation, but surely it hints towards it. I mean, in my life personally Religion has made me very happy, Religious PEOPLE who misinterpret th e Bible and then spread that filth like its the truth makes me life a veritable hell.
  3. Norfolk :P I actually just realized we got the worst place ever. We got PETA, we got Pat Robertson, and that's about it. Yea, my friend went to PETA once and put a bunch of rat traps and pro-cruelty to animal fliers on their doorstep, it was funny as [cabbage]. But never stop reppin the 757, s0n.
  4. And what I've noticed is, ppl tend to be ashamed of their ringtones. Haha, even if class hasn't started, their "favorite" song will play as their ringtone and they will answer it as quickly as possible and start to blush. lol.
  5. Plastic Beach (album) - Gorillaz Not that great of an album to be honest.
  6. Because you may be hiding a cell phone underneath your ds texting answers to your friend Bob's history test. I texted all the time, never got caught. Nothing is so important that you need to text, but you only get caught if you're an idiot, and a lot of teachers don't mind it. LOL. Not rly, schools don't teach, they show you how to follow orders, and thats it. Which is why creativity is so highly thought of in the public schools, because most of it died back in 1st grade. Try and give a public schooler an open ended assignment, maybe tell them to write a paper, about anything. Anything at all, no rules. Most won't be able to, give it a try. I love the French Revolution :( although videos of it are pretty boring.
  7. Yeh WBC was here lmao. May I ask what city?
  8. If you aren't completely caught up I would recommend not reading this topic. I am not really sure how you think you know she dies though from what you quoted anyways. 2nd and 3rd seasons have a decent amount of not all that great episodes. I was extremely disappointed with s2 demystifying The Others for a long time. 4 definitely picks back up. The main part about s5 I absolutely hated, but it also introduced the best character in the series so I am so-so with that. S6 is looking pretty good. But still you never quite get that feeling that you got when you watched s1, especially after the finale and waiting a few months before more episodes. That has been the high point of the series in my opinion. I get what you mean, I hated all the backstory on Echo, it was too drawn out. Also, I extremely dislike whenever someone is captured by the Others, they never ask any obvious questions for example: Why do you wanna kill us etc, they just ask dumb questions like "why do you want me" orsomething. And yea... I'll stop reading this topic. XD
  9. All my friends, everyone at work. I have nothing to be ashamed of, God made me this way. Or even if you don't believe in God, if its present at birth theres no reason to be ashamed of it. ^^ That sentence phrasing is awkward lol, don't really know how else to convey it. The only ppl who don't know are my family, and anyone my parents talk to often who I know couldn't keep a secret. The only reason why I don't tell my parents besides the fact I'm afraid for my life (which tbh I doubt they'd do it, but you never know.) is they make me pay them $100, for every time I say the 'f' word, and once I said cocaine and they threatened to kick me out of the house for being a negative influence on the family. So when I tell them they'll disown me, and all throughout my life They've never let me interact with the outside world (kinda why I cling to RuneScape so much) so when I do get kicked out, I'll have nowhere to go. I'm not even in college right now just incase they do kick me out, I'll have money for a temporary (or permanent) apartment.
  10. Souljah Boy is dance music, basically. He's classified as rap, but no one listens to him for his gay [wagon] rap, only his gay [wagon] dances. LIL Wayne is the best, howeverI do think Drake is right up there. Haven't heard much of the other artists, Ludacris is ok I guess. If T.I. can put out another successful album, he might pick up a lot more momentum.
  11. Agreed. It was the only good part of the alternate reality flashes. Yh well damnit, now I know she dies. I've never watched the show, until last Monday. Damn it is addictive, I'm on the third season ALREADY. LOL.
  12. I hear you man, lol.
  13. I LOVED THE CIGGARETTE SHADES! [bleep]ING SWEET! Also, the [bleep] comment was sooooo funny. Loved the telephone hat, all of them. I wasn't too fond of how they broke up the video in segments, and it seemed a bit random.

So you are saying people who believe in an omnipotent creature that shows no sign of existing at all but makes you go to church to hear about what certain people did 2000 years ago, tells you to kill gay people, not have sex if you decide to dedicate your life to "it", consider abortion murder and believe that Jezus can come down from heaven any second to allow all the good Christians to go to heaven (the main criterium of being a good person is going to a building to contribute absolutely nothing to society for one morning every week) are less intelligent? The same people who don't allow other people an opinion on things like other religions that preach excactly the same thing or how species evolved and kill them for it? That article must be pure nonsense. I came up with that years ago. No offence, but listening to the Westboro Baptist Church for information on Christianity isn't the best idea, broseph. While what most of what you stated is true Meb, in that its preached, but mostly not followed. I actually know a lot of either gay, or simply open minded Christians. You really can't stereotype Christians like that. Its tantamount to me saying: All arabs blow [cabbage] up. All muslims are violent. All atheists are elitists fools. All peaceful people are wimps. etc.etc.etc.
  15. No it wouldn't. We're talking about RACISM here. ;) --------------------------- To answer your question, no, I have never experienced racism against me (that I know of). I live in a white society, and I am a white man. The only "problem" in relation to racism that I have experienced would be the rampant political-correctness that runs through society where anyone can easily be labeled a racist. I have never harbored feelings of racial superiority, but I have been labeled a racist for criticizing black American "culture" because I believe that it is degenerative and displays lack of self-respect for themselves. Still, I'd be curious to learn about a homosexual that has been discriminated on, and how he felt about everything. In that case: The city I live in, Virginia Beach is VERY VERY diverse. I am actually surprised many of my friends who are white have very few friends of different races. I actually only have 1 friend that is white, I have about 20 black friends, 6 Mexican friends, and idk 3.5 Asian friends. (long story LOL). My school is primarily black, and Asian, with Whites being the next, our city However, white is the most common, then filipino, then black, then mexican I believe. (HUGE filipino influence as we're next to the biggest naval station in the country. (I;m pretty sure it's the biggest LOL I heard it on the radio) In my school, racial tensions are actually non existent, everyone co-exists, and its actually really cool. However, it seems like everyone wants someone to be a racist, its hard to explain, but if you show even 1 racist tendency, then you're a racist and everyone hates you. Its a bit odd, for example me and my friend were walking by some wanna be thugs, and she gripped her purse tighter, and they saw it and walked up and started calling her a racist, and then set out to disprove every single stereotype out there. Example: "[bleep], you think cuz we black we're thiefs? [bleep] let me tell you I have never stolen anything, I have straight A's, and respect the police, you [bleep] [wagon] think I'm gonna steal your [cabbage]? man I don't want your [cabbage]!" just stupid stuff like that, everyone tries to prove they're not a stereotype (even though they usually fill the profile of a stereotype quite commonly.) On the homosexual level however. I live in Virginia Beach, where Pat Robertson is located, who is perhaps the most outspoken against Homosexual in the nation. My dad works for him (and is pretty high up in the tier there) and that kind of rubs off on the town. A kid in my school (I believe he was a tranny) was very effeminate, and if people asked if he was gay, he just straight up told them. One day, he was beaten so badly, that his arm was broken, a rib cracked, and a concussion, this happened while I was home sick, and he was rushed to the hospital (amazingly, the hospital is literally across the street, with an organ donation building kitty corner from our school.) and when I asked why that happened people all told me"he had it coming. you just don't dress like that, its his own fault." I was disgusted. This poor kid was so nice to everyone, simply because he dressed differently, he could have been killed. For me however, in the hallways everyone who passed me would whisper "filthy [bleep]" or the likes of it, in p.e. or when we would partner up for projects in class, no one would go near me they'd say the following "man I don't want him feeling up on me" which is quite funny, because even though I'm not very butch, I'm not effeminate at all really. But high school was still hell, so glad I'm done with it. However, at home its totally different. Every chance my mom gets she speaks out against gays, saying they're filled with the spirit of the antichrist, caused katrina, split up pangea, created sars, bubonic plague and cancer, shot kennedy, eat babies, and invented satanism. Ok well I may have exaggerated a tad, but she sincerely believes Katrina was caused by the gays, and they're filled with the spirit of the antichrist. When she found out my brothers best friend was gay she stopped letting him go over less and less, now he can never really go over there. I think my little sister is a lesbian, and so I asked my mom what she thought of it(she doesn't know I'm gay) and she slapped me and said "how dare I speak such words in this house, where God is, homosexuality cannot, and I will not have you speak such words over your little sisters life." and I said "well, if she is, will you still love her?" my mom said "Well she isn't, and never will be so why bring it up." >.> Its really depressing living at my house, because everyone is so anti-gay. *sigh* I try to discuss it with them, but I don't want to appear too forward incase they get suspicious. I'm afraid to tell them, they have a rifle under their bed incase a robber comes in (no, they're not rednecks XD) and idk if they'd use it on me, they HATE gays. Kinda ironic.
  16. Uhhh, don't take this the wrong way but: That isn't that good of an mtk stash. =\ its so worth it to put 7.5m in the coffer,m and in one week you'll have maybe twice that in MTK. Also, huge congrats all on your stuff :)
  17. Do you rate ppl so low for the infamy? Or what. You constantly give stupidly low ratings, its your prerogative to do so, but you're so judgmental of other peoples achievements and I honestly don't understand it. 7\10 for 92 Herb, congrats! 8\10 for, 95 9\10 for 98, and 10\10 for 99.
  18. Awesome :) not too keen on the outfit, however.
  19. Being self sufficient sucks. you're an idiot for doing so, and are destroying the purpose of this game. What the heck is your problem, boy. HUGE CONGRATS! IT IS AMAZING HOW FAST YOU GET THESE 99's!@ PROPS TO YOU! Keep up the great work! To all those who think I was trolling, I wasn't. Obviously, simply playing the devil's advocate. Also, the following line isn't true: A waste of a thread.
  20. holy crap o.O
  21. Congrats man :) And huge congrats on 99 Str, its a shame no one posts on this blog :(
  22. Hey guys, so thanks to Jagex, I went from 83 Summon to 89 Summon, and achieved not only the fabled Unicorn, but my lovely Geyser titan (these things are so cool :XD: ). Well anyways, my old set up used to be: 4 Anti+ 8 Brews 8 rests Then runes, yips etc. + I came with a tort full of jank. I haven't dk'ed in months, and I know that's a crappy inventory to begin with, so what would you guys suggest? I'll be maging in Guthans, since I guess its cheaper than verac's atm. If you guys could suggest a maging inventory with 3 unicorns + scrolls I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks! (Also, should I take EE, or is Uni enough?) Thanks for the help :D
