I agree totally with you. I have been around here for quite a while and I have posted quite a lot of posts here. Tip.it's posts isn't as good as before, but they're still good. I have checked out other RS forums and Tip.it is still one of the best ones.

Smithing will be dead? I don't think so. The rune miners and smithers might not earn as much as before, but smithing will never die. There will always be those who will train smithing, even though they might not earn as much as before on training it.

The most of the time I get the raw materials myself. For example I mine my own ores for smithing and I craft my own runes for magic. But sometimes, when I want the xp fast, I buy the materials I need. This is however pretty a rare occasion.

This is a sad story. Myself I have always been careful of how much I play. I take a break from RS when I feel for it, and I always do my homework before I start playing. I have high grades and pretty many friends, so I don't think I play too much. This is why I won't quit playing RS.

Myself I have never looked close on the different stats of the different boots in the game, but now when I read your post, I saw that I should have done that. This is really intresting! I agree with you. They should strenghted those boots.

I agree with you. It must have been really hard to get Slayer as your first 99!

I won't be clearing my ignore list since those whos names is on it really deserves to be ignored. Believe me. I don't put people on my ignore list if I really don't need to, and I hate to do it. But sometimes I have met people in the game that don't stop to do very far from nice things against me or my friends. Then I have added them to my ignore list. And that's the reason to why I won't clear it, since I know these people so good that giving them a second chance would just be a chance of a way for them to irritate me and my friends again.

I have never done barrows, but I plan to try it out after I have finished a few more of my skill goals. And when I do, I will probalby do like you.

A no-lifer for me=Someone who plays RS so much that he or she can't take care of his or her in real life.

If you want to re-motivate, do the things you find fun in the game. Train your favourite skill, have a party with friends or something like that :)

Yeah, merchanting is still alive. You can still buy and sell items the old way, by trading from player to player directly instead over the GE, but it has become much harder to find people buying or selling items outside the GE.

I will probalby wait for a while before I start training it. I need to train my member's only skills right now, since the most of them are level 1 still :P. I also want to train magic and runecrafting to 70, and that will probalby take a while. So I voted for that I will probalby wait for some months or so.

4$ a day, and working 12 hours a day? And that's one of the better paid jobs in China! That's crazy...Thank you for posting this! I believe many have got a better understandment for the goldfarmers now.

A very good find, actually! I wouldn't been able to think this out myself, but now when you come with this theory...It seems like you could be right.

I'm not a runite miner myself, but sometime in the future I might become one, when I decide to train mining to 99. And then this calculator will probalby be useful, so keep the work up everyone! Thank you for making this :)

Yes, I agree with you too! Let's hope for that RS won't have any more problems with these RWTs anymore now.

These are all nice suggestions and I like the idea about "veteran servers" very much. The problem with this idea though is that it would probably take a lot of effort from Jagex's side to create these worlds. But it's still a nice idea, and I think that it would solve quite a lot of the problems that RS have right now. Not all of them, but some of them.
