St. Vincent - The Neighbors

After football, Squash is my favorite sport to play. Me and my friend did it for nearly three years and then they broke down the squash hall. :thumbdown: It's so fast, and I really loved that, but it was even better to let the other person do all the running, show them every corner of the court. :thumbup: We didn't do it for competition, more for fun and to keep sporting. And after the game we always had drinks, we came late and had a click (is that the right word?) with the guy behind the bar, so it happened often that we went to sport at 9 in the evening and came back at 3 in the morning. Ah, good times, I hope the new hall will be finished soon.

Feeling fitter, looking better, I guess. Nobody wants to be fat, right? And who enjoys going up a stairs to arrive out of breath?

Where's the Stockhausen, Koenig, Schaeffer and Parmegiani? A little more recent, Brian Eno? Sorry, I just had the chance to be an elitist [wagon], I couldn't resist. I'm not really well known with Electronic music. I do enjoy it, though. A little bit of Autechre, Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk amongst others. I also think that musique concrète is pretty interesting. If you're new to Electronic Music and are interested in it's origins I can really recommend the OHM: The Early Gurus of Electronic Music. Might not be the type of stuff that you're used to, but it's really interesting material.

Two concerts left for this year: 9 november Grizzly Bear with St. Vincent (2nd time, yay) as supporting act. and 17 november i'm going to see Wilco for the second time. Looking forward to both gigs, I might go see Bettie Serveert here in Middelburg in December.

Nope, unfortunately not. It's all on DVD. Most of them are Brakhage shorts from the By Brakhage DVD. If you're have some kind of interest in avant-garde and experimental films this set is a must. :thumbup:
