  1. it ok though i'm terrible with usernames but i am pretty good at remembering their signatures, maybe you're the same way. i ahven't been around for that long, so i'm afraid i cannot help you. i hope you get in tough with your friend! (i really do)
  2. and i'm an indiana jones-ist. nice connection. your teacher will be proud of you! luckily for me i'm f2p and would have blown it up with that rpg launcher he had back there. and i wouldn't have gotten strung up to a few poles, because i would have totally evaded the nazis. and i think paul and andrew co-own hte warehouse to get their hands on the arc. when did we get new smileys? i ahven't been on in awile :ohnoes:
  3. well if you still want that, it's pretty much exactly that effect for f2p.
  4. i once had to walk all the way from al-kharid to falador because i ran out of law runes and forgot that there were closer forges (don't laugh) now i pretty much spend 90% of my time in falador and surrounding area. sometimes i will teleport to varrock.
  5. i'm not disagreeing with you, but let's not get that whole thing started again. so like the first poster said, you half failed it looks like. bring more prayer potions next time =)
  6. Absolutely, looks far more like a tavern/adventure-esque. I'm really enjoying the look of the text boxes and whatnot. Well done to whomever crafted this beautiful style. i agree! chronicals all the way! sub black is second for me.
  7. i remember having 31-35 mining south of lumbringe and ALWAYS beating the level 50-70s that frquent the place. i was so happy. and if htey are level 54, go mine in the guild
  8. still is those were some awesome pictures. it makes me wish so much that i had heard of it when runescape first released .
  9. sounds better than like 98% of the music we have now. i support
  10. they should make an option to enter the login page with no music. like click here (or check the box) for no music on login.
  11. awesome!!! i wish i could have come! i can't wait till the video releases.
  12. when i was in school, they placed lowere level children with one or two higher level ones in the hopes of the higher level ones would teach the lowers, or some smartness would rub off. it did not work (of course.) the higher levels ignored their lessers and it was bad for everyone. this lends credence to the article. for that reason and others, i wholeheartedly agree with the same ability groups. now if only the level 40-70s would figure that out...
  13. well, if they "happen" to have a huuuuge mass (of like that of a large asteroid) then parts (if not the whole) would get vaporized on impact. also, if the cannon imparts a great enough spin onit, the friction of stopping it could do that too. guess waht a blast furnace does obsidian(lava glass) may be brittle, but seeing as the mohs scale look slike a logrithmic graph, then topaz (9) would be only abou 1/3 that of a topaz or corundum. also, i have read that it is possible to sharpen an obsidian blade to that of an atom's thickness. source, wikipedia. also, in mesoamerica, obsidian was capable of inflicting terrible wounds due to it's relative sharpness and it's serrated quality. thus, it is no wonder why obsidian weapons rank among the best in the game. back on topic, i once buried some bones upstairs in the monastary, next to the alter, which has nothing under it, but a floor. did i slide the bones under a rug? how does one buy bones upstars on in the stone floor of a bank? why does the gaurd i just killed re-appear out of nowhere after i kill him? (law of conservation of matter) unless he was transformed from the air, in which case, the required enzymes and bactera to convert the oxygen to the necessary carbon, and others would take much longer and when i kill it, it leaves, 2 bones, not 300+ where have all the ossicles(sp) gone?(law of conservationof matter again) need i say more? you can teleport (already been said i bet, the whole magic thing, i know technically it's possible (read the physics of star trek) but not the way i do it in runescape) edit: mr. "Hikensasameyuki", you did not only a very thorough job of putting to rest some of these rather petty debates, but you did so by using language that includes words with more than two syllables, a feat almost unheard of on many forums, such as this. i do believe, however, that the meaning of nomenclature has escaped many of our dear readers, who have never had the delight of knowing or remembering anything about carlos linnaeus or his classification system of binomial nomenclature. (this is mearly the most common pplace the word "nomenclature" is used in american schools) allow me, if you will, to enlighten most of us. nomenclature means (VERY simply put) a name, so binomial nomenclature is a system of NAMEing organisms with two names. (once again, very simply put)
  14. i've only seen one random at a bank, frog. i think the chances may be lesser there, but maybe not. i just haven't seen that many people bury in a bank (most peopel who do that buy bones in bulk, and most of those are members, which i am not)
  15. well, if they did that, then they could do somthing where jagex kept track of your individual aco[bleep]s and asked which one(s) you wanted to log in as. then you could add another and choose skip the dumb island option. and i did not need the island when i started, having fully researched the game (before the knowlege base got released) i read the manual several times and pretty much memorized the world map. so i had a pretty good grasp of things when i was a newb
  16. the level 75 whatevers on the 4th floor drop addy arrows (mith too i think) good hint, i was going to start lookign for range spots there, thanks for finding me one and saving me the trouble as for the person above me,, i don't think the level 12s have a safespot. could be bad for rangers. and as for the higher level ones, the minotaurs find it hard to cut through green dragonhide (if you are a member with higher armour, then you don't need to be upping range this way) good find =)
  17. no, him and his site sell rocks, like he said at the beginning, hence the massive amount of gold (duh) that was awesome, i may try to string one along like that for awhile. time to dig out my puny treasure trail items...
  18. well although i see some disliked it, i find this article more down-to-earth, or so it seems. it looks to me as if the editor (whoever he/she is) is getting more on our level and talking as one would to a peer in conversation rather than as one would to a large group of unrecognisable faces. all in all, i found it had tood points and was overall a good read, if short.
  19. i don't think it's so much of an error per se, but more of just they did not code enough water "out there beyond the land" and it did that to try and compensate for the perspective. it's probably just an error though =) good find! (don't fall off...)
  20. well, i, for one, do hope that Hazardmaster will be able to ENJOY the rest of her(?) life without all you people making things difficult. it's hard to continue the pursuit of on'e goals in like if one is continually put-down for such a stupid reason. as far as the age 13 thing goes, (i am sure this has been brought up but) she could(and did) join before it asked you. i, myself did as well, and she has been playing for much longer than i have. therefore, post happy-birthday-ican-or-can't-come nice comments not this... junk. i will likely be able to attend, although it will be difficult to dress properly, i will try to attend properly. hope it's fun and that those...jerks don't ruin it for you. i support you! --dork
  21. i had always seen those people who would say the old nite was the best runescape player there was. i did not know that they were not talking about levels. it would have been an honor to have met him. another legend has gone let's make sure that THIS one 'never dies' i'm sure that others can express that better than i but truley, levels aside, it's the person that counts. anyone wiling to chat with the lower- leveled people around him/her and to be the type of person that he was, that is what runescape should be. imagine if everyone were like that...the world would be a better place. Requiescat In Pace.
  22. well i love mine (dork vader) i also like "C" good name there =)
  23. not much of a secret =) i'll have to try that, i've never thought about bookmarking worlds before =)
  24. did your pin work correctlety? or (assuming your pin is 1234) did you have to type 14(if your pin was 1234)? i had no problem with mine about 10 minutes ago
  25. dramatic effect. i must hate losing my stuff even worse than you, because i set out to explore the wilderness with nothing but monk robes and a rune mace. the only person i saw was a level 14 trying to mage a greater. they did not drop anything good though. i arrived at teh same conclusion as you did, that the wilderness is safe (no one goes there) you should have tried the castle with the runes in it, though there seems to always be someone there.
