I don't like the horizontal bars, but that's JaGEx's job to fix. Other than that, I loved the old interface and the old way they displayed the stats (after construction). I can only hope they will change back. I miss the old amount of text.

I remember reading that ages ago. Firemaking is so good (good thing I'm level 60!) I don't know about worst skill, but the best skill would have to be "time out" you get 1 exp per minute. You must sit in a corner and wave your mouse around to avoid logging off. You can neither speak, nor trade, look at skills, anything. at level 99 you get somthing for your efforts. and to think the people who would level that to raise their levels!

I alch random event cloths all the time. Frog tokens too. I'll only keep lederhosen and mime(for the looks) I want to alch my zombie, but i have to get the last emote first (i've already buries over 1000 bones and 2000 b bones. still nothing) I've also alched stuff rather than selling (to general store) it saves time.

Some people say if you think of quitting, or being inactive, buy a rare (if you're rich enough). You can always buy what you had before with it. and it appreciates in value while you're away. Just a thought. Me, I'm saving for a santa hat or a mask. that way I can rest from runescape for awhile. it's lost the "magic" it had when I was a little newbie chopping willows on my first day. It has temporarily regained some of it's interest though. maybe it'll make a resurgance for a few months (maybe even another year) before it goes dead.

well, My name is "dork vader 0" the dork part bears a slight resemblance to my last name (which shall remain unmentioned), so I flaunt that a lot. AS such, Many people tease me about it. It's all in teh name of fun! who cares about the person geting teased! Since the censor update, I get called **** vader all the time. Like "Dork" is a swear word...

Do you think it would be a good idea to PM the winners incase this thread ends up locked or worse, dead? (although you can always make a new one. Just a thought) well, I hope all goes well with this. What will you be using to generate the random numbers?

that's all well and good, but it won't help further combat. I suppose if you are a freeplayer you could buy all sorts of runes/arrows. you could get very high indeed with that kind of money. as far as melee goes, I don't know what you could do there. Pay newbies to die for you in the wilderness? (that's just wasting it) Me, I'd invest it, Merchant my way up to a rare and keep that. There is little else to do with money in freeplay.

although this is certainly folly, I'm being optimistic today and saying they will make them for all players with the requited level. my reason is there aren't that many players it will afftect and many of them are not members. good point.

I did somthing stupid and clicked "cancel" when my computer asked me if I wanted to allow this program to do whatevers for me. I don't know how to allow it again! I think trying tomorrow will defiantely work. In any case, although I have no idea how to use it, the window looks good. I'm loving the scrollbar.

I'm terribly sorry, but I can't see where it's explained later. anyway, very excellent guide. i'm thinking of doing a little melee-ranged training there (the wilderness) to take my mind off of those stupid lesser deamons. The only iddue I have is now I must purchase normal dragonhide, and a normal rune kite (to replace my (h1) and (g)). I simply cannot wait until the stronghold guide is released, as I think it is an excellent place to gain items/exp. It's not as good prayer wise (bones vs. Big bones) as the giants, but is very good in drops. I get all sorts of mithril ore/rune essense from the whateverthey'recallds on the bottom floor. Maybe I'm doing it all wrong anyway? I'll soon find out!

*sigh* as will I, becuase JaGEx will never do it, if they did, it would represent a major break from tradition. Me, I don't support, not because I hate all freeplayers because they don't support the game I play, but for a much more practical reason. Mages have poor armour becasue spells generally do little damage. In training, it's easy to rely on safespots with the mage. Think, the melee armour can take hits constantly from your general monster, the ranged armour is much weaker, and is best used in a safespot, but can take a hit or two on occasion (like 1 hit per monster while you're running back to the safespot, or collecting an arrow(s).) Mages rely pretty much wholeheartedly on the safespots as they can't take hits. on a mages vs. rangers basis, I choose rangers because of the ability to use safespots, relatively low cost, and good all purpose armour (that is excellent looking), However that is not the subject. Mages have little in the way of defenses because of thier primarily offensive strategy. A mage hits very high, but suffers defensively, a ranger hits very low, but makes up for it in better defenses. Adding better magic armour (defensive wise) defeats this purpose. also it'd throw off the mages/rangers balence. If mages would have better armour, (even on the level of studded for rangers), then why be a ranger, mages would then have the offensive and defensive to surpass even melee as the dominant class. To rectify this, one must needs make better ranged armour (or inversely have it hit higher), and edit melee armour. therefore, that's why mages in freeplay don't need better armour defensively. This does not have anything to do with offenses, which greatly aid higher-level mages. As long as there is somthing to counter it with to not skew the triangle, I am all for such aproposition, also new mage robes look very much better, indeed and would improve it in general.

They made the minimap bigger? (that sucks, I'd have made it smaller) It seems that 90% of these people dislike this ide, abut I'm one who dosen't. I never use the chat window (well, rarely) and would appreciate the larger area. the issue is that this is very much like many other games, (as someone said) but maybe that's because they had the right idea there? andyway. I'm sure this will get flamed for awhile (gotta have another 10 minutes on the other side to make sure it's cooked through), and I might be in the cookpot as well, but that 's my thoughts and I'll stand by them.

very good idea, but I feel sorry for those with bad computers who are left out.. not so much. they need a new computer anyway. if only runescape had better graphics...if only...

well, Don't kill me but I kinda skimmed it. I like the signature image though, and the idea fragments I was able to read impressed me muck Feeel free to add "Dork Vader", "DorkVader", or "Dork_Vader_0" to the list of supporters. note the "or" I don't want to see my name up there thrice.

that^^ looks almost exactly what I do 1. see 1000 useless fishing baits on bank 2. spend 3 days fishing and cooking pike 3. give pike to friends 4. have 600 pike left 5. up lots of combat levels eating pike like crazy 6. 250 pike remaining. 7. I give up... so really. If I notice something I don't need, I somehow feel the need to squeeze all the experience out of it that I possibly can. I don't know how well the gold would work as training. doing that takes ages, but at least you don't hav eto string them all individually. You could make 10k strings to make up for that though. I hope you don't buy gold ore and nature runes for that though. You lose a lot of money like that. Maybe If you had a lot of gems in the bank it'd be worth it.

It made no sense! in any case, It's not very good compared to Photoshopp'd signatures, but well done for a paint user. My only complaint is that the "focus" (being the guy) is too close to the top.

I like how with the signatures that the name is not so much a huge fixture as a small label showing who it belongs to. I very much enjoy the work you have done here. It is wll above what most people would do, and after a long bread from it, doubly so.
