Maybe if people used their heads and thought that a question goes in help and advice then the board would be as good as this one in the first place. Please do not knowingly break rules by miss posting topics to wrong places, accidents are alright, but intentionally will get you in trouble. ~Philip

If we're talking about rock cake from the watchtower quest then you sure can. Just thieve the stall. I just use potions from the digsite quest, can't remember how much they do but it's a really good ammount and they're very easy to get :wink: (costs you a empty vial per pot though). ~Philip

Actually in my opinion it's not that slow at all, might just be me though. I believe it says iron because iron bolts are nearly the same as iron arrows. They hit harder but are a slightly bit less inaccurate, I know for sure I've read that somewhere. Must say I've taken a liking to the new bow, it goes great with a sara book and my clothes which i wear when I'm not in a battle. Also because I luckily was stocking up on bolts before getting ready to use them when i was bored with my normal bow, now I'm useing it all the time with the new bow and have already earned a range level :P . The only huge minus to the bow is that nearly everyone asks what it is. #-o With the best tip on the dorgeshuun bow I'm sure it would be more then a decent weapon. ~Philip

Well i do Barrows, but sadly Construction drained more then i could have imaganed so i can't afford prayer potions. I tried makeing them with drops but it's all to slow for my likeing. Also another reason I'm putting down my combat equipment is because I'm planning to take a slight break from Runescape for a bit, only comeing back on to make money with fishing/woodcutting. Thanks for the responses everyone, I've decided on getting an easter egg. But the prices are all over the place, i see people for selling for 6m, then someone for 3m, then for 4.5. I don't know what to think :? I posted on the official forums only for another sad atempt at being lured. I've annoyed so many people by makeing them pick up a old set of boots when they kill me :P The only thing I wouldn't mind knowing now is the price of an easter egg. ~Philip

I'd love to get a sant but it would include raiseing my total money by 2-3 times which i by no way am about to do :P I think i'll stick with the easter egg for now, i never realised torags and whip dropped so much (been a month or two since i checked), now i really need/want a rare :? Incase anyone was wondering I've got about 4.8m to use on a rare ( being poor is so horrible :( ) ~Philip

Hey all, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if I can aford any profitable rare if I sold my armour and weapons. Right now I know litteraly nothing of rare prices so I'd really apreciate a price around abouts if you can. Reason being is because I'm takeing a break from combat after getting 98 combat and I'm desperate for a money maker after construction drained my money before i could realise it costed so much :-s So what's better in my case to fish sharks/monkfish and cut yews/mages while a rare I have goes up in price? Probably alot of things but I'm just that lazy :wink: So here's what i (shamefully) have: Full Torags without his hammers. Abyssal Whip. Full Rune WITHOUT a shield and weapon (From training the new guild if anyone was wondering). Sad, i know. Ah yes, i also have about ~150k cash from the yews I'm cutting right now as we speak (type :P ). Thanks for the help, really apreciated (I can't stand looking for prices after modding the market boards :mrgreen: ). ~Philip

Happened to me also... It's not big though, just restart the guard part (very much so easier the second time) and instead of going all the way around go staright out in his view and start running away. Well, that's what I did :wink: ~Philip

One can easily get levels without spending money useing clay and limestone. Also there is no definition of a skill in RuneScape that makes requirements for each one. I have gotton level 20-40 (seeing as 40 was earned lately it might not come up on highscores) and the only money i have spent was about 100k for a few rooms and building things that i plan to keep for a long time in my house. As my construction level is so low, I cannot be sure of this but I'm quite sure you can actually get quite a chunk of money out of this eventually. My theory is that if you buy a monster that drops good you can peacufully train there without a chance of loseing your money. As a perfect example getting a steel dragon in your dungeon could get you millions back if you're lucky enough to get one of their famous dragon drops. Correct me if they don't drop items in your house. You could also compare construction to firemakeing, you need lots and lots of money to start it off, but when you get it nice and high you get to make profit/have fun (in firemakeing's case the profit would be the temple rebuilding min-game).
