Pope Endorses Palestinian State
This is the difference between fantasy and reality. Netanyahu might still have some wet dreams that involves the Palestinians and the sea ,but if you look at his first term as a prime-minister you'll see that he didn't do [cabbage] to promote this agenda (or any other agenda except political survival). check also Arik Sharon, who once was on the right side of the Likud, but as a prime-minister abandon the "Full-Israel-Land" concept.

Pope Endorses Palestinian State
The 2 lands for 2 nations concept is widely accepted in the Israeli public. you know and i know this is not a "small number of extremists" and yes ,as already said, for the Hamas its usually a win-win. true, Rabin was a great man. Where did you get these ideas from? I'd say its a wish of some of the extremist on our side but its not gonna happen and noone (noone sane ) is still "seeking" this option. agree

Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds
Nah, I loved Pulp Fiction, from the first time I saw it even. I just think that Reservoir Dogs was better than Pulp Fiction and that Pulp Fiction probably wouldn't have been around had he not made Reservoir Dogs first, but they are both simply AMAZING films. i think they are both equaly great, each with its own strengths.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Taken - few good "24"-like actions scenes , few odd scripting/directing problems(the hero pretends to be a french security officer yet he speaks english). In the end its was just another average action movie.

Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds
The only comparison i made is how much did i like each of them, nothing more. Though i must add that Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, does have a lot in common. I wouldn't compare them to his later work but these two are well-coupled.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Then you think this movie could have been made by somebody else? No, this movie has some of the typical Woody Allen elements (verbal charctors who likes to examine their feelings aloud) if thats what you were asking. What i actually meant is that beside the nice views of Barcelona and the sexy cast there is nothing much in this movie imo. Stereotyped charectors(Juan/Bardem) with no real build-up (especiely Cristina/Johansson),not a single memorable scene, no sharp dialogues..since you dont relate to the charectors, at a certain point you realy dont care what will happen with them. Perhaps its a girls movie (my sister also liked it).

What movie(s) did you last see?
Vicky Cristina Barcelona - light weight entertainment, nothing more.I am not sure if it wasn't Allen's movie (with Cruz and Johansson) it would have get that attention.my girl enjoyed it though.

Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds
Perhaps its a bit early, the movie release is dated to August, but the premiere is gonna be next month on Cannes. Anyway, the trailer looks promising, on the other hand, who knows...Tarantino's Kill Bill movies & Jacky Brown (didn't bother to see Death Proof) were a bit disappointing in my opinion. But still, this is Tarantino and the trailer show he's might be back to his more verbal days so..we'll have to wait and see.

What movie(s) did you last see?
As in every holocaust memorial day (in my country) there was another holocaust movie on TV last night.Die Fälscher (The Counterfeiters) - wasn't bad but the overall wasn't that effective either. There was something very familier in the way the story was build and no real development of the charactors. The Pianist, which was on last year was better imo.

Shows that need to be put DOWN
yeah, i'm not gonna deny that. the reason that i got as far as i did was because there was this huge bandwagon with some people i knew and i decided to jump on that. Hard to believe it but the current season is actually great ! the best season except from the first ofcourse. It doesn't mean they dont need to close it though... I think Sutherland said the next one's gonna be the last. This season is also gonna be Prison Break is last season from what i remember.

best movies to watch with my girlfriend?
Combined with the "drunken" camera movements ...surely its not an easy film to watch. Still, this movie, manipulative as it is, doesn't leave you indifferent which is always a good thing.

best movies to watch with my girlfriend?
i'd go with Closer and L'appartement (if you are not afraid of french movies). Whatever you do dont watch Irreversible with her - from my experience, women seems to respond bad to this movie
