  1. Some more responses Dunno about others but this Israeli, who studied Israel history in school, served in the IDF,been to the occipied teretories and in Lebanon during his service, and been consuming political articles probably back from the days you were an infant...yes..i know a bit more about the conflict. False,go read it from the begining, start with the Dreyfus Affair Let me answer this with a simple question. Why exactly Hezbollah attack this Israeli patrol, the attack which triggered the 2006 war? Israel left Lebanon a while back (2000),so why?for the fun?because it can? Now another question, why does Nassralla, the "hero" of 2006, is now sitting quietly and besides some whinings about the arab world not helping the "brothers", doesn't do anything? I tell you why, because he learn the lesson, and learnt it well.. The Hezbollah, beside ruining the life for people living in north Israel has ruined Lebanon once a beatiful country. One last note, this thread is not about the Israel-Palestinians conflict, its about morality. In my opinion you cant claim you're more moral than the other without being in his place,or in similar situations. And that's the unquestionable truth, ruth.
  2. Few responses Actually the Hamas was fool enough to play to Livni & Barak hands by starting this crisis. Recent surveys shows an increased popularity of those two, which ,btw , isn't a bad thing if you consider the alternatives (Netanyahu) Sure we do.Israel's war against the Hamas, not the Palestinians(or Lebanese,or Iranians) and those are not just empty slogans. Israel has no instrest in controling the Gaza strip,i assure you that, but we do have intrest in breaking the triangle (Ahmadinejad -Hezbollah - Hamas) and we do have intrest in seeing a reasonabile Palestinians goverment which will be willing to sit down and negotiate. Lets not forget that anyone who posts here represents his own personal opinion, not the country, the city or street he lives in. Ginger, i read few of your posts here and i do think your heart is in the right place but, naturally, you cant see the whole picture.I can assure you that If you lived in Israel you would have see things differently. After 60 years,we (Israelis) still can't take our existence here for granted. We still have to fight/kill/destroy inorder to make our neighbors accept our presence as a fact. Thats why this attacks on Hamas(and on Lebanon in 2006) were crucial. Sad to say that but this is how you negotiate in the middle-east. You need to punch in one hand before giving your other hand for peace. (btw in both cases the other side triggered the war) One last thing, no one here enjoys seeing death of civilians.IDF is doing the best it can not to arm innocents but given the circumstances its almost impossible. Still, reports says that 300+ of the deads are Hamas people, not civilians. And thats the definitive truth, ruth.
  3. When people make stupid statements without knowing what they talk about...now that's disgusting. I suggest you go read a bit, you can start here
  4. Thay can start by making Dark beasts slightly more profitable, rune plates & clues can be a good start, maybe dark beasts horns (raw material) after...
  5. Its a bit buggy, take the scarecrow out and re-plant it. If it still doesn't work, you'll have to wait till the corn grow some leaves and then replant it.
  6. Feel free my friend, alternatives section? btw the layout is perfect
  7. Getting the ingrdients for curry its not the problem,as shown in this (awsome ;) ) guide you can get ingridients for 1k curries in ~70 minutes. The problem is making them. if you put curry vs buying raw & cooking then yes,it will be faster to buy and cook. But if you compare curry vs fishing & cooking then curry will be faster. Better than monks(more per hour+burn less +twice xp) and surly better than sharks.
  8. One bilion indians are now offended cause you didn't even mention curry :shame:
  9. First i have to admit, thats exactly the same puzzle-solving method i use so there was nothing new to me in this video. But still its nice of you to provide a verbal explanantion for those who are too lazy to read/understand the several guides out there. O and btw, its ok, my accent is worse ;)
  10. Dont wait Complete a farming round, go do something else(in game/IRL) and comeback after an hour Thats what farming all about
  11. As someone who slayer most of the time i consider clues as integral part of my income so ye, i do each and every clue i get as soon as i get it (well..usually if there are 50+ kills left on a task)
  12. i Also experienced some of these issues+: - Small rollbacks - I make some pots, logout, the day after i have no pots but the ingridients are back in bank. - Different positioning, guess its connected to the first issue - Login to "auto world' to find myself in PvP world - happened several times, luckly with no injuries...
  13. You should definitely try Jestofunk's Universal Mother album. jazz-funk-dub-electronic-soul all in one album, great album. I've heard their other albums, this one is their best imo. You can also try Finley Quaye
  14. Eastern Promises - more or less like the previous Cronenberg-Mortensen collaboration (A History of Violence). Both movies are certainly not bad but doesn't leave too much impact either. This one was slightly better, mainly because Viggo's performence was the best i've seen from him so far( and ofcourse the turkish hammam scene  )
  15. Did another 300 round,it seems that at level 76+ they dont burn at all. Anyway, added some tips, credits and GE prices to the guide
  16. Again thx for the good feedbacks  I did one more test (297 curries) to make sure i got all time estimations correctly and added the new results. Yes,actually thats what i meant. It was based on the fact that in level 76 i didn't burn any of the 320 i made (also at rogues den). Anyway i changed it from unburnable to less burnable ;)
  17. Thanks for the feedbacks and the tips people i knew i missed something about the bowls..I believe this reduce the time in about 6-7 minutes!!! Anyway, i am gonna edit that
  18. Intro Hi First some background I never was a big chef and i'll probably never be,the only time i cook is when i run out of training food and thats was the case few days ago. Beside being an average cooker,i suffer from allergy to static skills, especially the ones which requires going to crowded places. Yes, i hate fishing,in fact mentally it was harder for me to get to my current fishing level (66) then to get to my current slayer level. So, before heading to Piscatoris, for my monthly 4 monks run (can't make more, sorry) i decided to examine the cooking guide, hoping to find something else, and i did... Curry, yes, this nice brown stew which the only time you eat is when your hunting irons/steels, the one that "heal some health" but you never bother to check how much.. I decided to give it a try and this whats this guide is about. Why Should you cook curry - You can make 280-300 per hour > average monks fished per hour (around 230) - Curry heals 19 HP in a single bite! only 1 HP less then sharks - Because we are talking about 280 cooking xp of less burnable(non burnable at level 76+..so it seems) food, almost twice more then monks (150) and 70 more then sharks. - At the time this guide is written curry sells at 815 each on the GE which is 560 gp net profit > 370 for monks - If you like to refresh a bit from your everyday routines - Ideal for fighting the chaos elemental - unequipe-spell proof ;) (thx Philip & nicrune008 , took me a while to get your point lol) - See the title :-) Why shouldn't you - Its a clicking nightmare - if you like chilling on the beach with a net this is not for you. - Curry is less popular -> sells much more slowly (but does sell). - No fishing XP if you care about that. - Need some cash for the ingridients, 254 gp per stew. - If you have sensitive stomach Making Curry Now that we settled it,lets go for the process Requirment - Some Cash - The humble cooking level of 60. Equipment - 14-15 empty Sacks - Light weight clothes (boots of lightness, spotier cape etc..)+ energy pots if you run out of energy (though from my experience ,the salty bath effect should be enough) Recommended - Finished the "As a First Resort..." quest - for access to the salt pool and for the meat store. - Ardougne teleport-ability - Watchtower teleport-ability or house in Yannila. Ingredients & Costs - Shops / GE - Bowl of water 4 - Cooked Meat 4 / 32 - Potato 16 / 72 - Spice 230 / 331 Total: 254 Note: If you have Curry leaves from farming you can use them as a replacment for spice,3 per stew.I didn't use mine (slower) Getting the Ingredients *Note* time estimation are based on 297 (11 trips) pieces of each ingridient. Cooked Meat - Oo'glog - estimated time: 3-4 minutes We'll start our journey in the great Chargurr' fresh meat store at Oo'glog. First take a quick salty bath because you got a lot of running ahead of you,now simply buy and bank all your cooked meat . Once done take out Ardougne teleport cause that our next stop Spice - Ardougne - estimated time: 7-8 minutes head to the spice stall at the Ardougne and buy-bank an equell number of spices, Use the south bank for banking. Dont try stealing since if you'll be caught you wont be able to buy from the stall for 1 day (? need confirmation) Now, after you bought all the spice needed take out 13-15 sacks and watchtower or house teleport if you live in Yannila cause thats where we're heading. Potato - Yannila - estimated time: 10-11 minutes Head to Frenita's cooking shop just north of the hops patch.Buy 10 potatos and fill 1 sack. Repeat till all sacks are filled, head to the bank, empty each sack and deposit the potatos. Return to Frenita to buy more if needed.Once done take out your glory amulet and head to Shantay Pass . Bowls of water - Shantay Pass shop- estimated time: 3-4 minutes Buy and bank all the bowls needed from Shantay (thx kdtaereo for the great tip) Total estimated time: ~23-27 minutes (it took me 24 minutes) Putting it all together - The real nightmare - estimated time: ~32-34 minutes Yes, after running like maniacs time to step off the gas and start the very (very) boring task of making the stews. Before starting make sure all ingridients are ordered in one line at your bank. Now: - While ingridients left - Take out 14 bowls of water (withdraw 15 desopsit 1) - Take 14 pieces of cooked meat and "use" the bowl with the meat (not the other way since we dont want to eat it) - Take 14 pieces of potatos and "use" the unfinished stew with the potatos (again, not the other way!) - Take 14 spices and use them with the uncooked stew. -Repeat Total Making Time (ingredients+mix):~55 -61 minutes That is it, you got yourself plenty of one of runescape's finnest dish. Just go and cook it whereever you like. Bon Appetite Final words- i highly doubt this guide will spark a curry-mania all over rs but as i said if you bored enough and want to try something new, go for it. Any feedback and/or suggestions are welcomed Thanks for reading
  19. Exactly, we are talking about average here so if,for example, you go fishing for 2 hours, you can divide by 2 the numbers of fishes you banked,or even to use an 1/2 hour quanta ,multiple each by 2,sum them all and divide by 4. A better way will be to do 10 fish-bank runs, divide the time taken by 10 to get an average per run, for example 8 minutes, then (60/8)* 27 = ~202 Either way, lets not do an essey about it, if enough people will put their info we'll have a good estimation of the fishing rate per hour. And yes, banking should be included. Anyway, i edited the post to explain how to calculate
  20. Just gathering some info. please state you fishing level as well [EDIT] In order to do the calc, time X fish-bank runs, then do: 60/(time taken/x)*27 this will give a good estimation of how many fishes you fish-bank per hour. The bigger X is the more accurate it will be. Example: At level 66 it took me around 30 minutes to do 4 monks runs so: 60/(30/4)*27 = ~216 monks per hour Thanks
  21. d boots were ~225k before the update. Yesterday i sold pair for 293K (highest on GE) i can see them reaching 400k and more in few weeks
  22. Read here in the Special Drops section
  23. Yesterday i started my first ever Waterfiends task (been off the game for 8 months) and after killing about 60 i also had the same thoughts, why wasting prayer pots (as several guides suggests) when it seems that bunyip + guthan can get you through the all task... update us with your findings. btw, taking some natures and fires might also be a good idea...
  24. another method which was not mentioned but worked prefectly for me back at my 70's (cb) was to step out of melee distance, forcing the mage to use mage attacks then pray mage and range/mage him to death. [hide=*Edit* small clarification]"step out of melee distance" means at least 10 squeres away from him since he'll start chasing you and try to get you back to melee distance[/hide] However, the last time i used this method was at least 2 years ago so i cant assure you it still works...
