  1. Hahaha. So much for freedom. There is no way that law can be enforced, they'd have to drag 50% of teens off the streets. A few friends of mine dress like that and although its not pretty, it's definately not hurting anyone. Stupid mayor.
  2. That was an incredible video. I really feel glad for that guy, you can see that that was a turning point in his life and I bet he walked away from that feeling brilliant.
  3. Time is one seriously messed up law of physics. At the moment, I understand it to be affected by gravity and speed, corrent? The faster you are travelling, the slower you age relative to people travelling at slower speeds and gravity I have no idea about. Having time slow right down would be terrible, you'd be stuck in a single moment unable to die. :uhh: Time scares the heebyjeebes out of me.
  4. White breaches, long white socks and a sweaty white t-shirt. It's part of the anti-emo movement. Just kidding, I've been fencing.
  5. I'm going to write a concept album. Its going to be 'Pirate Metal'. I'm sure someone somewhere will already have done it but I don't really care. I have no idea how to get that 'piratey sound' but I imagine a lot of "Yearg"ing will cover up any lack of pirate instrumentation. I want the album to be pretty heavy and very tongue in cheek, taking the micheal with both heavy metal and pirates. I'll need a band though. Edit - Its a story about a pirate who falls in love when they put in at shore and falls in love with a girl. He has to go away though and its mainly going to be about him dealing with love sickness :o
  6. Cartoons - Diddley Dee. Leik uba coolies. Into Marilyn Manson - The Beautiful People (live)
  7. Something to add - If you can hurt someone (reasonably badly ie. wind them or give them a bloody nose) and put five or six feet between you and them, they wont come back after you. It takes a hell of a lot of guys to restart a fight after you lost. Also, maintain eye contact with the other guy at all times, looking away gives them a chance to get the mental upper hand and confidence. Make them drop their eyes not you. But most importantly, don't get into trouble unless you have to. Your wallet isn't worth risking your life nor is your phone. Someone could pull out a gun/ knife and even the best fighters are in serious danger then.
  8. Join the club :D Currently listening to Arch Enemy - Aces High (Iron Maiden Cover). I watched the Download festival over the Weekend through the Net. Awesome weekend. Lamb of God, Machine Head and Iron Maiden were the best. Defitately going next year.
  9. My hair varies from dirty blond, to pretty dark brown to browny ginger (only once, in the autumn of last year). I might dye it red just for a laugh over the summer holidays. 7 Inches long btw.

I've seen them about 7 times. They do demonstrations over Bournmouth quite a lot in the Summer Holidays. I love them.
  11. What's wrong with spitting outside if you're by yourself? It evaporates, no? If someone is on their own and they are spitting, I wont see it/ hopefully not come across it and step in it.
  12. Spitting on the floor. It's bad enough outside but when people do it indoors I'm just digusted by their lack of respect and hygiene.
  13. Care to share what you found? :P Heaviest song so far is 'Lashed to the Slave Stick' by Nile (I think Black Seeds of Vengeance is heavier but I haven't heard a complete version of the song yet) or 'Homage for Satan' by Deicide. I've looked a songs by Killswitch Engage, Overkill, Moonspell, Lamb of God, Pantera, In Flames, Cradel of Filth, Children of Bodom, Carcass, Canibal Corpse, Black Sabbath, Candlemass, Behemoth and some Megadeath. I think tonight I'll explore Black Metal a bit more, all I've heard so far is raspy guitars and a guy with a sore throat.

Young chavs don't bother me at all. All they do is shout abuse, which can be ignored and if you want you can scare them off with a confrontation. The older ones I avoid though. I know most of the ones who hang round my village and are reasonably friendly with them. In other villages though, I have been harassed a few times. When they are in a gang, it's really best to just ignore it. On their own, they wont bother you at all or if they do a confrontation will scare them away. A friend of mine had to move house after getting in the bad books of some chavs. Everynight they'd hang around his house, shouting abuse, throwing bricks and even putting a petrol bomb through his window. When they went on holiday, the place was broken into and everything was stolen and graffitied. Death threats were left on the walls. As far as I'm aware, the police never actually pressed charges on any of them. I think the root of the problem (other than poor parenting) is that young chavs learn pretty quickly that they wont get into trouble unless they get caught.
  15. I played on Tie Fighter. I remember it being a slightly better version of X-Wing. I couldn't get very far though as my PC wasn't good enough. X-Wing owned though, awesome story line and awesome gameplay. I loved it.
  16. I've spent the evening searching for the heaviest song in the world. My search has lead me to find some really great metal, some really, really, really heavy stuff. I've touched upon every subgenre of metal, from doom to drone doom to black metal to metalcore to 80's thrash to grindcore - a genre which I had previously written off as a mindless load of poop. It's been an eye-opening experience. Only problem is, next time I go to a music shop I'm going to end up spending all my money.
  17. I think it's very clearly that there is nothing left after death. I used to think that but now I'm not sure. In the massive ammount of time this universe is here, I don't think that my consciousness just happened to land in the Year 2007 and is going through life. The odds are way stacked against us making it this far as a society and as people. We are soooo lucky just to be people in the first place. Because the chances of what we have now are so low, anything is possible.
  18. This is the kind of thread that got polls removed. Someone always ends up flaming someone elses opinions because they don't like that kind of music. P.S - Put more effort into making a thread next time and do a search as well.
  19. Systematic chaos. :XD: OWNAGE. I'm liking it on a first run through, which is a first for a Dream Theater Album. Normally, I hate them. Then they grow on me. This is just amazing.
  20. Moving to movies and music. Yes music really does inspire me. It's the love of my life right now, I'm totally absorbed in all genres and playing guitar. It's inspired me in other things as well, mainly the way I see life. Getting 'pumped up' by a song is rarity for me nowadays, I tend to feel more relaxed and feel good; even with the super heavy metal. I make a point of listening to pieces of classical music just before any important sporting events. I find that it helps me focus, relax and find 'the zone' I like to be in when I'm about to go for it.
  21. I'm big on personal freedom but don't really care about economic, I think it's fine the way it is.
  22. Well, I don't really care right now. I see little point speculating and/or adjusting your life because of a belief that can't be proved. I do like the idea of re-incarnation though, only if I can keep my personality. I'm quite attatched to it. I'd make an awesome badger.
  23. I really enjoy some of Slayers stuff. I'd like to go see them live one day, apparantely they put on a kick [wagon] show.

I wish I could lead myself to be blinded by something like Satanism :D Do what you want and enjoy it, forget the others. Unfortunately I'm too nice to do that and I'm just not thinking on a spiritual level anymore, no point in guessing because we will never know. I'll just take life as it comes and enjoy it, without worry but without the complete lack of care these guys show.
  25. Warri0r gets my vote. Good in debates and seems like a nice guy. Very active too.
