Well it strikes me that you are friends with two people who should not be moderators, as a moderator they *must* keep confidentialtty, even though they are real life friends they have still leaked confidential infomation, and wich in turn can damage the entrire moderator team. I hope very much that they have not told you everything, and that is extreamly worrying. I will be passing this infomation onto Jagex next time I have some free time. There's no problem realeasing what a moderator can and cannot do. We all know they are normal players and have the power the mute other players along with a few other powers...there's no secret in that. If one of your friends asked "What do you moderators do?" and you replied "I can't tell you, confidential"...i'm sure they'd think you either didn't trust them or that you're just being an idiot :-$

Jagex knows improving the game will mean more money so they improve the game so that they can get more money. They are much more distant though compared to RSC so much more in for the money than before. I just hope it doesn't turn into a faceless corporation

If you just buy the supplies there is pretty much nothing in the game which you can break even or profit in unless you get a brilliant deal :P If you buy nature runes and are P2P try making yew longs and you will get a small profit or perhaps buy green dhide bodies although you will make a small loss i think.

I liked the old version, it made Runescape seem a bit more sophisticated than this which seems to appeal to the younger generations more than the other one did. Maybe the age cap will be lowered soon?

seems we have topics for goals for winter, summer, spring and autumn now! I personally want to play as little as possible because of school work although I would like to achieve my goal of mining 5.4k silver ore and then smelting and crafting it to achieve 70 crafting with 1700 total mixed up in there.

Yeah, as long as you don't for example cancel a chance to see your friends or call in sick for work to play runescape then you can't really be called a no-lifer although i agree that if you spend time playing Runescape into the early hours of the morning then you have some serious issues.

Now to some this may be a silly question where Runescape is easily much harder to stop than going on the Tip.it forums or any other Runescape fansites such as RuneHQ or Runescapecommunity to mention a few. Tip.it is seen just to be something to be put on the side while playing Runescape so that you don't become bored during the usual repetitous gameplay but really is it actually harder to stop logging onto Tip.it then it is to log onto Runescape? When quitting Runescape wouldn't it be logical to stop going on a fansite of the game as it might possibly entice you to start playing and possibly go back to a previous state of addiction which would probably be bad for yourself and those surrounding you. That all seems fair but when people quit Runescape they usually seem to keep coming back to these forums for the general gossip of what is going on or to keep in touch with friends which were made through the online gaming world. Even people who have quit Runescape for several years keep finding themselves coming back to certain forums to see what has being going on in their absence. Today I was planning to take a day off Runescape to finish up on some jobs such as buying new school shoes and rugby boots and some finishing several pieces of coursework which are due in at the beginning of the school year (finished btw hehe) but although I haven't touched Runescape at all during the past 8 hours i have been awake so far today I seem to have found myself here at these forums writing some of my thoughts down on this subject or perhaps checking any comments that have been written to one of my friends blogs or perhaps my own. To me even if i quit Runescape I will probably end up staying on Tip.it much, much longer. But why do we stay on Tip.it after we quit Runescape? Possibly because of the welcoming community which seem to always provide a helping hand or is it the need to know what is going on in the world? Both on Runescape and in real life as you can find out both here or perhaps is it because you feel like debating on issues which interest you such as "Is RC pk'ing really all that bad?" or "Which is the least admirable skill cape?". Tip.it seems to really keep you coming back for more than Runescape ever did and i'm sure without Tip.it i would have quit Runescape years ago due to boredom.

I don't have an opinion either way who gets chosen for mods but you can't honestly expect people to believe that you or other mods is going to say anything other than your post can you? To be perfectly honest to keep everything legit ya I do think it should. Not that you couldnt work for the staff in some other capacity and im sure you'll do a fine job but I don't think we need "couples' modding together. that point about mxm is completely true but the second point on Dork could be a bit harsh as he does seem to post quite mature posts although they seem to be in fewer quantity that other posters that i have seen. To be honest i would like to see more of the "golden-oldies" become moderators as it is true that these two have not been around that long compared to others such as yourself (Trix) and it would be nice to see others such as Darkrick or perhaps Mercifull becoming moderators as i am fully sure they are deserving of that title judging from the good work they do around the less viewed forums.
