These cookie cutter pop stars aren't even worth hating anymore. Justin Beiber merely exists because all the girls who liked the Jonas Brothers grew up so now they need someone to replace them. Talk to a teenage girl next year about Justin Beiber and she'll reply, "Justin who?!" In a year and a bit they'll need some other pop star to replace him and we'll probably still end up hating him just as must as we hated Justin Beiber. The Circle of Life.

If we shouldn't live life because there are people who are unemployed/hungry/dying we'd live in a very depressed world. It's good to be charitable or empathetic to people's needs but Michelle Obama is still a person (although well off) like everyone else and people go on vacation during the summer. I don't think I could constantly make myself feel guilty after eating a meal or going out because someone somewhere isn't.

This is THE best treasure trail reward. Period.

I agree that you are ultimately responsible for your experience online. The more you put yourself out and how you conduct yourself there the more likely you're going to meet some less than desirable people. I recently watched a news report on Craigslist where the reporter interviewed Craig regarding prostitution (some of it underage) and how his site was not doing all they could to report those postings. Craigslist should be responsible as they provide people the ability to make such posts.

Haircuts...how do they work?!

Here's mine. They mostly come from trying to learn how to play them/playing along on guitar. I use my Zune Media Player. It rocks my socks. 1. Lucky - Radiohead 2. Climbing Up the Walls - Radiohead 3. 1901 - Phoenix 4. 9 Crimes - Damien Rice 5. High & Dry - Radiohead 6. Uprising - Muse 7. The Tourist - Radiohead 8. Recokoner - Radiohead 9. 40' - Franz Ferdinand 10. Bloodmeat - Protest the Hero (actually kind of surprising).

I'd probably rage because I lost whatever I was working on my computer.

News Article Here How is this even possible?! Even if the wife was unfaithful the child should still be some other shade than white. Even the hair and the blue eyes don't make sense. I don't usually like posting news articles but this one is beyond outlandish.

Toilet paper....think about it.

When I first started working at an office I had a conversation with my mom about avoiding any conversation about religion, politics or any other controversial issues that people feel strongly about because it can lead to uncomfortable situations. I just added it because I thought of that conversation at the time.

So I haven't started a topic in a very long time and I thought this would be an interesting discussion. At work yesterday I had a very interesting debate with a few of my co-workers (I know you're not supposed to talk about heated issues at work but it was a friendly debate and everyone was cool about it). The debate was about prenuptial agreements which some people sign prior to marriage to protect their. assets in case anything went wrong during the marriage and it ultimately ended in divorce. One of my co-workers and myself agreed that prenups were just "marriage insurance" in that you have it just in case but you don't think you'll need it. IT's similar to other types of insurance (e.g. car, house, etc). Another group of co-workers thought it was starting the marriage with a sense of mis-trust and it would be put a strain on the relationship from the start. Also, they were under the impression that any problem that arose during marriage could be resolved. I made a note that if a pre-nup is marriage insurance it's just like other insurance. You don't buy a car with the intent of crashing it but you know it may happen. Also, you don't buy a house with the intent of lighting it on fire but accidents happen. A pre-nup is exactly the same. We can't predict what a person will be like 5, 10, or 20 years from the time you get married and people change. That changed person may hate you and is hell-bent on screwing you over in a divorce. My pro-prenup stance comes from my personal experiences with my family. When my parents separated my dad was doing worse off than my mom and he tried (and failed, thankfully) to take advantage of her success. So what are you thoughts on the matter? Could you suggest a pre-nup to a future spouse (should you choose to get married) and they wouldn't be offended? Would you be offended if your fiance asked you to sign a pre-nup?

24-Apr-2010 - Jagex Presents... RuneFest 2010
Althalus replied to Infi's topic in General Discussion
I can see it now. Jagex: "We'll take some questions from the audience." Random 14 yr-old: "Why'd you take away the wildy and free trade, BRING IT BACK!" (this times 100). Jagex: *facepalm" -
I said what Summoning has Dungeoneering doesnt THIS...is a comparison. I like Dungeoneering. People really aren't giving it a chance.

Umm, it says I'm 40 dungeoneering on hiscores. I just got 44 before the server went down for update. This is balls.

I like the fact that I can make death, law, chaos and nature runes now even though it's at a fraction of the xp. It just changes things up. As for the fletching it'd be nice if we at least had access to better bows in the shop. I've only used ranged in the slippery room against that flying eye guy.

The only things worth posting is shock news and controversial issues (e.g. religion, capital punishment, abortion, etc.)

Would you still play if runescape was Class Based?
Althalus replied to killmenub's topic in General Discussion
Little known fact: Runescape was semi-class based at one point. You could choose adventurer, magician, ranger or warrior and you would start out with different starting materials. Adventurer had a bunch of skill based items, warrior had melee gear etc. -
No, no, no. Jagex doesn't do anything unless its cryptic. It's very obvious that it's an obby shield.

Hey everybody. So I searched for a topic about Kenny vs Spenny but couldn't find one so I thought I'd start this. The new season premiered today with 2 new episodes and I have to say that they were hilarious. If you watch them feel free to discuss them here but we'll have to be careful as the show has a pretty mature theme.

I don't know if this is still profitable but a lot of people buy plain pizzas and anchovies/pineapples and make anchovy/pineapple pizzas then sell them back to the GE. Slow, cheap way of getting cooking experience.

I'm surprised how little people have heard of Boys Noize. It's one guy from Germany and he does an amazing job. Love it! [hide=Boys Noize - Let's Buy Happiness]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqXzKyZ8iXw[/hide]

I've made a conscious decision to stop watching this show. They're not winning me over with their random story lines that don't seem to be going anywhere.

Seriously, you should know the law. If you did you would've finished the beer before you got into the car. Also (I don't know how this works in Saskatchewan) in British Columbia an open alcohol ticket is only $115 (if you're of legal drinking age). There's also an additional $58 for minor in possession (bringing it up to $173). That's no where near the $360 you received so there's more to the story unless Saskatchewan has harsh liquor laws. A ticket is supposed to teach you a lesson. I'm going to guess that if you have to pay $360 over a beer in public you won't be doing it again anytime soon unless you're an asshat.

I'm a bit confused by your title as I've never heard someone say "I could care less." If I ever did it would probably fall under the same category as "I'm not going to lie." I don't know how this became popular but it makes no sense. Why would you tell someone that you're NOT going to lie? Example: "I'm not going to lie, I loved that song!" Seriously, the sentence would've been just as effective if you just said you loved that song. No need to tell us that the statement wasn't a lie. It grinds my gears when I hear people saying it.
