This particular suggestion is one listed on the board guidelines of ones not to suggest. The reason for this is that Jagex has made a list of ideas that cannot or will not happen and that list is mirrored here. It is far more productive to get people excited and motivated about an idea that has a chance of happening as opposed to one Jagex will never consider.

Oddly enough OT guidelines are something we have been discussing for the last 2 weeks. We are committed to improving OT and making the users there happy. Hopefully the inclusion of some basic guidelines will further us all along on that goal. Just be patient as the improvements should be happening fairly soon. :

Technically you're requesting a service which falls under the marketboards. This one in particular goes in the Pick 'N Apron Bazaar. Either way, all requests for a service or offering to perform one for a price go in those boards. :wink:

The flood control is there for spam but also for when we get a person spamming a keylogger. It keeps the bad posts from being made incredibly fast. As Cameron said, just browse a bit and read. I'm sure you need at least a minute to gather your thoughts before making a good reply anyway.

This has been one of the things that has bugged me most in the game. I don't know what it is but I can't stand that it's been nearly a year and a half since their release and still no practical use except to look colorful sitting in my bank. My theory goes that they had released them with plans to use them soon after they came out but through one thing or another they had to postpone or revise what they were going to use them for. I assume when the background and related pieces fall into place they will finally have a use. But it seems they are getting closer to doing something with them. We had Miscellania give them as bonuses which greatly increased the amount coming into the game and now we have that new item (sorry but I've been crafting and haven't kept up with the new quests) that increases the chance of getting them while wcing. Then again this could just be one of those things they do to let us have something to talk about. :mrgreen:

I was somewhere around 700 total I think with lvl 40 something combat. I wasn't really waiting to switch and had not really thought much about it. I was big into smithing and had lvl ~73 and was wanting a better (less expensive) way of leveling it.

I got curious and tried it the day after I got mine. Too much attention for my taste though.

I sure did, now if only I can stop hating it too. -.- I plan on doing mine in a break even method combining the two ways Uular mentioned. A quick set up in Excel can show you how many nats you'll need to make to afford the ess to do FFL till 91. It's motivating and depressing at the same time.

Please let's not bring up the subject of drop trading etc. again in this thread. I'm sure we all know Jagex's and Tip.It's stance on the matter and much more discussion of it won't lead anywhere nice. Thanks and good luck on your goal.

If I explained I would pretty much just repeat what the rest have been telling you. My advice is that despite however fun this might have been that you don't attempt a repeat. Locked.

While it's by no means definitive proof, the fact that more than a couple pest control groups sprang up over the minigame is enough to show that a few people are making use of it. I'm not trying to diminish the effort put into raising strength let's say, but there's no way you can compare 90 str to 90 mining. I'm sorry but just the xp per hour you get and on top of that the amount of concentrating you have to do on the screen is vastly different. I could click once every minute or so and train strength. Raising your mining level even on granite with total focus is only around 45k-50k per hour. If you want to know why people have "respect" (if you can even use that word with a game) for those who do skills more than combat, try asking Swampjedi how easy it was to get lvl 90 herblore. Remember not everyone dumps millions upon millions into buying a skill.
