The fungus collecting isn't so great but hopefully it won't be that bad. Also a special thanks to Tripsis for buying some things from me. :

I've had one since before blogscape existed. 8-) As for irc, I do it when I don't mind getting distracted with chatting. Always something to talk about there. Got this today which wraps up one of my goals. For some reason I find rc to be the easiest to do. Now to do something with all the of herbs I can't make myself use. I forgot to switch Miscellania over to herbs before I collected 3 weeks worth of it. Now I'll be going to sell the flax I got and buy herbs.

It's more than likely some lingering problems with the mail servers that was announced recently. To my knowledge it happens with topics that are being "watched" and the server can't send out the email notifying them of a reply.

Just one small thing to add since pokemama has stated a lot of what I already think. Another way this can be taken care of is for users to stop bumping guides that are complete and utter crap. A fool's dream I know but it would help. I don't think we should further subdivide PMG on the basis of quality since that's what PMG was supposed to do for the AOW. I don't feel we need yet another board in the mix to eventually get up to the AOW. I'm not saying the system is perfect since there are still some issues to fix. So...yeah. :|

Whether it's in a positive or negative light the constant topics become annoying to regular users and also to the people the topics are about. At a certain point I would assume that topics about either of you would get annoying after a while even if it were just to talk about your rank in skill X. There is an obvious enough difference between personal conversation and making an entire topic about someone so I shouldn't even have to respond to that part of your post. I find it funny that it's said all topics are instantly locked. There was one very recently on the Gen P2p board about the person ranked #1 in hunter. It only got locked after the discussion started taking a turn. If everyone wants someone to blame for most topics becoming instantly locked, blame yourselves. It's nearly impossible for users to have a decent conversation about these high ranked players. And before you say those posts could be removed, why even try moderating topics that are that close to spam to begin with. I've seen so few posts like this that even warranted being made and even less that turn out well.

We've discussed this and we will not be removing or begin policing these videos. The videos are hosted by other sites and it is not our responsibility to wade through each and every one. We don't have the time to sort through the volume of videos when there are more pressing matters we're attending to that affect the functioning of this site. We appreciate users' involvement with ways to improve the site but not every one is practical to implement.

Yeah that one ranked 204 in the pic is nub, don't pay any attention. Lies! People might start believing you and then I'll lose my reputation as an antisocial jerk. :mrgreen: Been bored the last 2 days with Rs which explains why I only got on to sell 2 furies and log out. That update really irritated me with the 100 cb req and the crushing blow to the price of the two onyxes I was holding but...meh. It seems like these diaries have a lot of potential so I don't mind losing out on a small bit of gp when a new type of game activity is introduced. The best part ever is the glory recharging. That has to be right up there with auto-fill vials as one of my all time favorite updates. (And yes I know I'm weird for liking the really trivial updates.) I got bored temporarily bored with rc (hence the 2 days) so I left off with trying to make some evil dave stew so I can hopefully take a screeny of 105 crafting and fm. My hell cat I got when RFD came out has been sitting around too long and is now too mammoth to catch anything. I'm hoping the new one will be quick once it's grown so I can hurry up and get annoyed at making this stew.

All right, updated finally. Thanks to those who, unlike me, realized that this topic was still here. I've done a little assortment of things since getting 90 combat. Oddly enough I went back to crafting. I ended up getting ranked 200th then decided that was a nice achievement and left it there. Then in anticipation of the jewelry update I made 33k deaths and bought 2 onyxes. Thankfully I didn't make any of the new stuff so I will be making and selling 2 furies at some point. After that, I ended up blowing a chunk of gp on ess since it's been so cheap and stocked up with 149k of it. I'm slowly burning through it and have enough to get 85 rc I believe. I've managed to barely get 1 herblore lvl and con lvl . I don't know why but I just can't seem to raise herblore. I'll probably end up setting my kingdom on herbs and just using up those along with the ones I farm. As for now, my passion is currently rcing. I'm 28k xp from lvl 80 which is my goal but I expect I'll be doing it for a bit after that. The money is a nice change from the cash drain of crafting and will help with the bank crushing con lvls to come.

Wow, I don't think I have that much patience to do barrows. :shock: Nice combo of drops with the Ahrim's robes though. :mrgreen: Now hurry and get the hood then gimme. :P

Without going into the specifics of this idea I want to make a comment (and this applies equally for any topic in this forum.) A few admins, myself included, are really disgusted by the attitude people have shown in this and other topics on this board. I happen to know Kiwi along with some of the people who have replied to her. I never got anything more out of this topic than a suggestion. Yeah a suggestion in the Forum Suggestions Board, go figure. I didn't see her mandate anyone to do it nor did she assume she knows the intricacies of sites this large, but I guess that doesn't matter to most. It doesn't matter whether this can or can't be done honestly. The bigger problem here is tact and the need for some to troll this board. Everyone can take what they want from my post and apply it to themselves as needed since it isn't a blanket statement for all. User input is a great part of this board and usually appreciated but there's no reason to pounce on someone, especially when no one who represents this site has commented. All we're asking for is constructive criticism without the malice we see around here sometimes. I'm locking this since this is now being taken care of elsewhere.

Might not be the most efficient set up but I'm used to it. And since I usually get questions about it, I have a steel pick from thieving HAMs so much and the coif is from the lvl 1 clues they give. Gotta love lvl 1 clues.

For what it's worth I noticed a largish amount of gem drops from Cave horrors yesterday. I've never fought them prior but getting 7 gems in a trip seemed odd at least to me since I very seldom get more than 2 in any given stint of killing things. A change in the drop rate didn't occur to me. I was more annoyed at having to decide what I wanted to keep and what to drop.

I have a topic that uses this feature (oddly enough it's the only post I've ever made that's needed it). I don't really see how this is a problem to the point that Albosky needs to rewrite the code, especially when all that it's wanted for is to keep a post compact when you've already read that part.

Out of curiosity what is it specifically that's bothering you so much? We remove boards or condense them and no one complains. We shift a board to a lower tier under another board and people freak out. It is really hindering you that much to click on a smaller sized font link on the index? :? I'd like to think I use this forum as much or more than the average user and the changes haven't caused me any great annoyance even when I wasn't the one to suggest certain ones.

Vmser summed it up pretty well. If I had extended the time to 2 months it only would have included perhaps 6 more topics. I understand people's attachment but we weren't doing it to snub the RSC boards. It was simply a matter of use and forum activity. We've done similar removals when the RS2 market boards were condensed. If there is really a need and that many posts that a sticky gets cumbersome then it won't be too hard to make a subforum on this board to accommodate them.

Without mixing the topics you want to cover I'm answering regarding Rate This. The simple fact is the way the boards (Rate This and Blogscape) were set up has been redundant since Blogscape has been created. There is a distinction in quality, content and format between a rating for a bank pic and a level blog. While it's arguable they're all fluff as far as topics go I think it's safe to say that posting a bank pic is a bit less effort compared to some of the work that's gone into those blogs. That's part of why the ratings and single achievements have been subbed. Gen f2p and p2p are split up because there's a more clear cut distinction and you can sort those topics into the correct board. As it was before, there were "blogs" in Rate This. All we did was move those to where they should go. Either way the change has happened and it's staying that way. I must have missed a meeting because I (and other admins) never knew we decided that. :-s

Well, I got 90 combat earlier. I'll be posting some pictures of it at some point. Just wanted to make a quick note of it now due to the date. It's been one year almost to the minute since I created this topic. Kind of fitting that my topic that started with staying lvl 89 would finally conclude exactly a year later. 8-)

And now for something completely different... I've redone the first post and it now contains a goal that is a bit unusual for me. I'm currently 30k xp from the hp lvl that will get me 90 combat. I've been raising up hunter before I did it and got 1800 total and 90 thieving a few days ago. I'll probably get the combat level tomorrow or sometime this weekend depending on how things work out. :mrgreen:

After all the information given by The_Sith on this matter and the various comments from Admins there isn't anything else to be said on this subject. Ideally this topic would not need to be locked but despite changing the rules and then being more explicit in the answer, people are not asking questions concerning how to work in accordance with the rule but rather continually debating it when the decision has been reached. In reply to the question raised in the last page or two: No, the sites currently censored will not be removed from the censor. Also, a usergroup set up for the purpose of being able to trade pictures will not be implemented either. The_Sith more than adequately explained the reasons behind the usergroup and those are the same reasons the Admins came up with for not allowing it. Linking to sites is not really any different than posting the picture within tags in that it is more or less publicly posting that picture. We have given everyone ways within the rules to distribute pictures to other users. Even though it might not be the decision that everyone is most satisfied with it is the decision that we have made. Please understand we aren't out to spite the users or ruin their fun but do what we feel is in the users' and forum's best interest.

The simple response is I would have given you an answer if I had one. My opinion is and has been just like Albosky's on this matter and I cannot fully explain the reasons for disallowing pictures as I don't share them or agree on the matter. This is one of the more helpful posts I've seen since it actually offers a solution that works within the guidelines set up. I'll bring this up to be looked at.
