Please set a minimum font size?
I wouldn't presume to think that people are only using those two browsers. My post was more about "the most good for the most possible". IE and FF make up 89.9% of browsers used (Reference link). When you factor in that and an existing way of reading it (quoting or copy/paste) I don't see a pressing need for this modification. I'm merely looking at this from the perspective of Albosky having to take time to devote to something like this. Considering the niche user base this would apply to I don't think it's one of the more urgent matters he could be attending to. However, I won't speak on his behalf, this is merely my perspective on matters.

Please set a minimum font size?
You also have to consider monitor resolution in this since what is microscopic to some is legible to others. The solution to this is just set a default minimum size for fonts in your browser. I learned how to do this from Ard and it's pretty handy. I have mine set to size 9 which works just fine on the forum. For Firefox, go to Tools -> Options -> Content tab -> Font & Colors -> Advanced -> Minimum Font Size. For Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> General Tab -> Accessibility then check "Ignore font sizes specified on Web pages". Once you've done that, go to View -> Text Size and adjust the size as desired.

a handful of suggestions
I'll pretty much just echo what mxm and tripsis said since I'm not feeling too original today. We're continually looking for new mods. Even though new ones appear every few months we are always working behind the scenes to get more. Polls will not be reintroduced because of the chaos from it in the past. Just me making a trivial one on request once in Blogscape opened a mini flood of pointless poll requests. If the topic needs a poll (and the poll has a good purpose) a mod will be more than happy to add it if you ask. Just looking at the kinds of topics currently in Gen P2P alone you can imagine how many polls we would have on just the first page. Users being able to delete will not happen. Even we (mods and admins) don't do that so I don't foresee it being a user feature. Similar idea for user locking. This would be abused in debate topics when the person ends up losing and doesn't want to look bad. Again, mods are more than happy to lock a topic for users if it needs it.

Does anyone actually care about 99 firemaking?
It's pretty much why I said the part I just bolded. But since you want to bring up ease, you can't click once per minute and expect to lvl firemaking as you can strength. *clicks monster, goes back to watching tv, pays attention again when it dies.* That is perhaps an exaggerated case, but let's be fair about the amount of attention something requires compared to the relative speed and apparent ease. I got to the point I could light a partial load of logs while keeping the screen on the periphery of my vision but that's hardly being able to focus enough do many other things (read, chat, watch tv) as I can when doing a combat based skill.

Does anyone actually care about 99 firemaking?
If you equate use with the ability to make gp then no, firemaking doesn't fall into that criterion. My initial reason for getting 99 fm was two-fold. I liked that it was a really 'pointless' skill which few poeple could be bothered to level. Secondly I really hate having to buy and sell things so I found it easier to keep all the logs I got from Miscellania. Back when I started saving up my logs in June '06 for 99 fm, the capes weren't around. I just so happened to do my mass burning for 99 the same month the capes came out....go figure. The capes have certainly made it a much more popular skill to get to 99 but that's the way things go. I'm biased on this so take it for what it's worth but I still prefer the fm cape over the strength cape which is more common (14.9k 99's atm) than even fletching or cooking. And before anyone feels the need to rebut that, I didn't say anything about ease I just said it was more common. The point to take away is there are no good capes or bad capes, just ones you like to wear or feel personally accomplished for having. One person may really like his fishing cape whereas another couldn't care less about his own.

~99/99 Firemaking! THE RACE IS STILL ON!
I must say you have an extremely well organized first post. It's just...wow  I saw myself in the Heros section, a mistake I'm sure. :P Also think I'm in the lvl 80 pic standing at the bank booth wearing an ugly brown cape. Good luck on your goal and I'll be around to egg you on when I rc. :

Moderators leave messages after locking topics.
Whether or not that was previously done it is not now. No one starts with global moderating abilities and even when new mods are brought on they do not lock or moderate anything (and cannot for that matter) until they have been publicly announced because of this very reason. As always there should be a post regarding the nature of the lock. However if it happens and there isn't one, just ask. No one is going to bite your head off for wondering why it happened. It's also helpful so we can see who didn't leave it and reiterate the purpose of locking comments to them.

Tall's Generic Topic: 90cb 1930 total 99 farming
Thanks :D Yeah, I'm somewhat surprised too. Though I didn't consider it exceedingly easy since I'm not inclined to sell rares to get lvls and for the most part I don't do things that make gp. I tanned all the hides myself, bought all my own hides, sold all the bodies myself (minus 1k which were alched) so I feel I put some time into it. That made it a bit harder but I can see how a lot of people can fly through it. moose: I remember seeing you too. :P

Met's 91 RCing blog UPDATED 05-13-07! MAJOR UPDATE PAGE 5!
Hmm, name sounds familiar. I think I saw you in Edge bank... Good luck with rcing. You should be seeing me around there at least till lvl 80. :P When I first saw your sig I wondered what was wrong with it. *whispers* Black text with a transparent background when using subBlack theme looks camouflaged. I was wondering why there were no words until I saw it against a gray background post. #-o

Tall's Generic Topic: 90cb 1930 total 99 farming
Thanks everyone. The party was deliberately small. I usually don't like large ones since I end up missing a lot of what people say and I think that's a bit rude of me. The onyx necklace was Artemis' which he kindly let me try on for a minute to see how it looked. I might end up having to make one. As for the emote, here's a gif I saved (stole :P) of it back when they first came out. Oh, and if anyone has the green or blue trouble brewing pirate clothes please contact me (or if you have any of the colors besides black). I want to see if either matches before I go try to get them. :

Finally finished. I want to thank all those who put up with me and waited around for me to get it. You'll notice Saidinwot in the picture below getting mauled by a barbarian. I got my last bit of xp for my last level in the Barbarian Village making a pot. This was the first thing I ever made for crafting and in the exact same spot so I figured it was fitting. After that we went to the crafting guild to get the cape then it was back to Edgeville to mess around. My only problem now is to find something I like that doesn't looks hideous with this brown potato sack looking cape. This is about the best I've found so far. -.- I haven't figured out what to do next, perhaps a ton of rcing or maybe hunter to get 1800 total. Not sure which I'll do but I'm sure inspiration will hit me.

~Hugo's Goals!~ 83/99 - Woodcutting
Since you were looking for ideas you might consider working on rc. It would level pretty quickly especially if you use dueling rings to craft fire runes. Don't expect to be able to sell them for much of anything but it's fast and the ess is cheap. Good luck on your goals. :)

Tall's Generic Topic: 90cb 1930 total 99 farming
Got 98 a bit earlier today. :XD: Down to ~19k hides for 99. It will probably end up being on Saturday or Sunday depending on how plans with someone else work out. Thanks for the bumps and well wishes.

Craziest goal on G and A dat u actually saw complete!!!
Hands down it was Zeldaot's solo rcing from 91-99 rc. It was a really great topic and had its ups and downs. He ended up losing a phat to a scammer on his brother's account I believe but he also managed to run to the abyss with all the natures etc. in his inventory at one point. Really great thread.
