The majority of people have a uneducated hate against rap for some reason. I enjoy it, i don't think anyone could listen to Run-DMC's "Raising Hell" album and say they hate rap.

Exactly, when looking through the applications that was always in my mind, and i see the majority of the CTET fall under just looking for another way to get the purple avatar, or be in some sort of elite club (although, there is so many TET members now, it's no longer very elite). I advised people who were active on the clan board and who who didn't apply to the TET leaders but i never saw any of those people brought in. It basically comes down to the fact that you have the wrong people operating it. It's hard to find the right people for this type of thing but until you do theres no point in continuing it.

How2PK, i couldn't stand Vertov's man with a movie camera for the most part. However it was very clever for it's time, especially the horse and cart scene. Heavy with it's messages, but too uninteresting for me :P

It's current members don't seem to know of the orginal aims, they don't seem to know of how to get influential war clans interested, they don't seem to put much effort in, they don't seem to have relevant contacts inside the clan community to big clans that could compete, they don't seem to know which types of events are actually of use here. In my opinion, it should be scrapped and the project handed back to Loge if he wanted to continue it. Otherwise just scrap it all together.

Not from the right clans, keep in mind i helped sift through the applications, about 2 people i approved and even they were questionable. CTET's purpose was supposed to bring back the clans to the forums, it does not appeal to these clans so it has already failed. Loge started this and it was his project, and i think listening to what he aimed for would be a lot more benificial than talking to these key admins and CTET leaders. No disrespect when you say these people have clan experience, but clans like GES don't help us here at all. How does a skilling clan that requires you to be a member of the tipit forums already to join bring new people in? Not to mention it's not the right people anyway. The aim was to bring back the clans. Clans that are big, and that have influence. Not clans I have never heard of, or clans like GES that are not influential or capable of bringing people here. I mean, I discussed this with some of the admins and tet leaders awhile ago both before and after CTET came out (after my departure from TET) when i saw that it wasn't right at all. I continually said that you need a special breed of people to do this (like Oergg if he were still around these forums or Das) and those people needed some sort of way of getting big clans interested. TET events don't interest clans. For example, events for CTET should be on going, like tournaments not hunting 10 people down in the wild and blowing 2 Million gp on it. If you don't scrap CTET and start again then you have to scrap it's orginal purpose. And without it's orginal purpose it becomes an amateurish version of TET, with little effort put in (or thats what some of the events and posts seem to show). You have to scrap it and start again, there is no other solution.

I don't care if people smoke. The only time i don't like it is if they live at home with a child who they smoke around. Otherwise it's fine, the majority of deaths by passive smoking are through consenting adults living with smokers, they have the choice. People who walk down the street and see a smoker and think "I have a right not breathe in smoke", don't have a right not too, and they may aswell just say "I have a right not to breathe in car fumes" or something else as ridiculous.

Many of the issues can't be solved without starting the whole thing up again, which includes recruiting people who are actually from clans who could help.

Charlie dies because otherwise no one would be rescued. He could have escaped but he chose not to, death would always chase him and there would be no chance of rescue according to Des.

It was the first dutch Verhoeven film that I saw, i first saw it at the cinema awhile ago but got it on DVD a few days ago. I'll try to get ahold of some of his others. The Fourth Man sounds interesting :P

I agree, it didn't go the way it was supposed too. Partly because of zero advertising to actual big clans, lack of events that are for clans (like competitions and multi-wars), most of the events being to TET like and holding no real value, unprofessional posting of events, poor aftermath threads, majority of members don't have any proper clan experience (as in come from skilling clans based around this community and not big war clans). CTET may as well just close it's doors until it is ready to open for clans not just as another TET.

I was driving home with one of my friends, at 2AM and well, he was going pretty fast. Anyway, we get a phonecall from some of my friends driving behind us saying the police were following us. So instead of stopping, my friend who drives pretty dangerously anyway (like he doesn't care for hii car, so he just drives it into walls sometimes to stop or dumpsters, or drives with his elbows while eating and smoking) hates the police starts speeding up, runs a red light and finally we get to the carpark we go to sometimes after driving to have a break. I mean if the police caught us we or he would be screwed.

Locke's the best character on the show! Well, Locke or Saywer. I don't think Saywers dead, i think something big will happen between Saywer and Jack in the next 2 series to make them hate each other. As Jack and Kate always refer to soemone knowing if she is there, and their meeting was secret. Kate is hiding her meeting with Jack for some reason, from someone. That someone is probably Saywer.
