Stop talking such rubbish, the problem you face is that there are many types of economic systems within the umbrella name of capitalism and for some reason think you have to explain the concepts of socialism to us. We understand what both socialism and capitalism is, we pledge our support for capitalism. Unfortunatley our 14 year old diver Tom Daley didn't quite do as well as that in the synchronised diving, but it was his first Olympics and he still has the individual diving competition to come.

Clegg moves the Liberal Democrats to the right, in order to pick up votes from disillusioned members of the Labour party who would never vote Tory. However it seems like a rather stupid decision to me, a party can not last on borrowed support. According to the Georgian President, Russia has been attacking zones completley out of the way of the conflict as well as targeting pipe lines. It would appear to me that anyone claiming this is about a liberation of South Ossetia is reading only into the pretext of this situation. Georgia has already said they will demilitarize South Ossetia the moment Russia ceases their attacks on Gerogia. Lets hope the diplomats on the way there can establish a ceasefire between both parties and that eventually there will be a withdrawal of troops.

God is very similar. I know what you meant, but as I pointed out. Determinsim is inherently a universal principle, there can be no personal determinism. In your world fate may be proven to you, but as soon as it is then it is extrapolated to a universal level which depends upon no one, not even yourself. Oh, both are metaphysical questions, there is no doubting that. Both lack any form of conclusion to the question and in that sense it does share the same qualties as a belief in God. As I said earlier, I simply wished to have you provide arguments for determinism without invoking faith.

My reason is that I think the world is a great place, so something had to set it up to be that way. That reason is not good enough for you though. Sorry but I can't fix that. Thats because determinism is not the logical conclusion to arrive at from that premise. The same exact way God exists on a personal level and not a universal level. People have their own personal ways for believing things. Your belief in God may be personal but it is extrapolated to a Universal level because it simply does not make sense if it is not, both determinsim and God are inherently universal ideas. What other people think would be irrelevant because of that.

Oh, i knew that you would probably bring the analogy of religion into this, it always happens with these metaphysical questions. You're supposed to be offering an explanation, a reasonable argument in favor of why you think fate exists. The problem is that you can not provide one and so this is the conclusion we arrive at - later than I expected as well! Anyway can you tell me how you believe fate would exist at a personal level and at the same time, not at a universal level?
