When SwiftKit redirected to the start page on the Swiftkit.net domain, it most likely ran a Java driveby (if you accepted Java to run). The servers themselves weren't touched. If you believe that you received some form of a virus from it, then scan using your anti-virus programs. I know for sure Microsoft Security Essentials can detect and remove it. No, that is incorrect.
