  1. That's brilliant, thanks. Can you resize it to under 8kb please?
  2. Updated my item goal, now going for a whole solo outfit on the side. Chinning is really boring and SC doesn't appeal at the moment, I'll make slow progress it seems.
  3. As the title says, I would like to see some pictures of a Santa Hat and a Red H'ween mask equipped (not at the same time obviously). Thanks to anyone that posts! :)
  4. I don't see why the TET have been getting so tetchy, the regulars will still attend your events and the ones you lose to Jagex's imitations won't be the ones that make the events worth going to anyway so they may even be doing you a favour. :P
  5. *I want an: Avatar *Style: Same style as signature Size: 100x100 Notes/Other: Same colour scheme as signature, same style Deleted unneccessary sections of form, thanks to anyone that does it.
  6. Michael McIntye Sean Lock Rich Hall Reginald D Hunter Dara O'Brien Simon Anstell Many, many more to name as well.
  7. That's the thing. They were NEVER meant to be status symbols. My Armadyl godsword is much more of a status symbol than a partyhat. How long you've been playing really doesn't impress me at all. When I see someone with a scythe I don't think "wow ur so kewl cuz u bin play since liek 2003 omfg". I think "wow, you're a noob, you're only level 50". Partyhats cost an upwards of 80M on the GE currently, that amount of money contained in one item is a hell of a lot whatever way you look at it. Jagex never intended for them to rise to such levels, but they have and making them untradeable is unneccessary. Also, who said anything about the scythes and bunny ears being worn to impress? It is an irrelevant point to bring in, that is like me saying that we should remove cooking skill capes because they don't impress me. We don't need items to show how long we've been playing. All Jagex needs to do is put a field on the highscores "Member since:". Just like on the Tip.It forums member profiles. Problem solved. Give Joe Newb his scythe and bunny ears. If Jagex were capable of implementing this feature and making it easily viewable ingame for everybody to see then I would support your idea, although I still think it would need careful consideration so the market doesn't go haywire. ;)

  9. Untrue. Party hats don't symbolize how long you've played - I could buy one right now for a few hundred mill, and I wasn't around when they were dropped. What they DO do is give whoever was around then a HUGE advantage over someone who just joined today - a newb could have picked a few off the ground (I've seen a screenshot of 51 blues when they were dropped) and be set for life because of it. I meant the party hats are status symbols and the untradeables show how long you've been playing.
  10. nachalo The items are meant for fun, yes, but they also show how long you've been playing in comparison to other players. Untradeable scythes and bunny ears are a good thing imo, if you happened to miss the event that is too bad. Party hats are status symbols, such a radical change would be silly.
  11. I think I know what game you are on about, but I can't remember the name either. I'll post back if it comes to me. EDIT: The one I'm thinking of is the 'Settlers IV', immediately came to mind when you said about the game.
  12. So what are the desert robes for? Keep it up Vey, you're doing awesome! :)
  13. [hide=Da_Latios][/hide] Someone has to restore the balance, I'm just doing what any other TIFer would.
  14. I actually didn't type that lol, it's where you fight 'yourself' in that quest. Yeah, I realised that after I posted. #-o :P
  15. Rewards, as that is what makes a minigame worthwhile for me.
  16. [x] Avatar Size: 100x100 Render/Stock: None, just want it to be purple to match my signature. ;) Thanks.
  17. "If I'm a weed what does that make you?" lolol Keep it up mate, I wanna see more nice pics in HD.
  18. Bumpeh. ;) Not going to be able to play really until after work on Saturday, planning to do some chinning over half term though. I might be able to get 99 if I can motivate myself and find enough time to, all depends really on whether I feel the urge to go to SC or TDs. :P
  19. Congrats, I'm going for something similar but with all 9s and 0s. ;) Keep it up. :)
  20. My girlfriend is away and I'm working, so it'll be like any other day really. We haven't made plans for later in the week either. :P
  21. What new headband is this? :o
  22. Doesn't seem anything great to me, might try it sometime when I have nothing else to do.
  23. Yeah, I realise that by caving in it just encourages beggars but it really annoys me that people think that they deserve to be given these items from complete strangers. :|
