  1. I have never seen people do this to raise the price or make it 'one of a kind' Generally people do this when they quit... they say "to hell with it" pretty much... Same as I think ian said it, if I were to quit I would sell all I have, buy some phats, and alch them while laughing my arse off. It has nothing to do with the money behind it, it is more of a... hmm how to say it, it is just something in your head like "yea I did this" Who cares about the economy, who cares about the prices... They arn't going to gain anything by buying 3 phats, alching 2 of them, and making the price go up 500k.... because they just spent 30m to get them  Believe me, it isn't about the money when they do this
  2. Does she have a firewall or router?
  3. Not sure at the moment, but I will tell you never to bump on these forums, at least not while the topic is still on the first page... We are very busy but will get to your probelm eventually. Just give it time, plenty of people help out here and I am sure someone will be able to help you out
  4. neopaint as simple as microsoft paint, but has alot of advanced features offerend by PS as well  http://www.download.com search for 'neopaint'
  5. It could be overheating yes, because your CPU is doing alot of work while doing things like that, hence it gets hotter. It might have been fine before, but a fan may possibly have died, there may be a loose connection of power to the fan, it could have gotten disconnected or loose, ect
  6. Have you run something akin to Motherboard Monitor or something else that keeps track of heat? Doesn't matter, it wouldn't be over heating with the case off and a fan blowing on it. First of all, fans don't cool stuff down. They evaporate sweat which makes us feel cold ;) AFAIK fans in cases are used to keep dust from settling Oh.... right.... so why don't you try to take all your fans out of your case and see what happens, okay? Fans keep components cool, and take hot air out while brining cool air in. Dust has absolutly nothing to do with it, in fact most cases have an unbelievable ammount of dust in them.... kind of stange that they also have fans, huh? Not to mention dust really isn' that large of a problem in a computer... but overheating is. I have a hard time believing anyone would even think that  Computers can run like 140 degree's farenheit if you don't have a fan or heatsink in it, and guess what happens? Silicon chips melt or fry, and you can say bye bye I am astounded at this ignorace... wow

  8. I would not reccommend this. If you want to clear up your system restore files then simply turn system restore off, restart your computer, then turn it back on. You can turn off system restore from the system properties of the control panel. ' Or you can use disc cleanup to delete all of the old system restore points accept for the most recently known working one
  9. We don't support 3rd party, warez, pirated programs, or anything illegal for that matter on these boards... you are basically on your own. World switchers are illegal according to the official jagex rules, and I suggest you get rid of it or run the risk of not only getting banned, but possibly hacked (or both hacked, and later banned) I am afraid you will receive no help here, and I will now contact a mod to lock this :?
  10. You can only use the 'add compenents' if you have the windows xp cd, otherwise you will have to do it manually.... and like I said, if you do it manually it won't be in your list of "open with...."
  11. you may have accidently removed them when doing a disc clean up, one of the options is to add or remove windows components  All you need is the [Caution: ExecutableFile] for both which is like 2kb... if you have another computer or something (just get it from a friend) throw the [Caution: ExecutableFile] on a floppy drive and put it in your /system 32 folder Create a shorcut if you'd like, however you won't see it in the 'open with...' category, so you gotta do that manually
  12. Uhh, my only answer would be that make sure you don't have both SUN javan and MS Java vm turned on. If both are on, they may be conflicting. Double check your internet settings. If you don't know how, it is stickied
  13. Did you install firefox with the normal Exe file (stupid question... but) not that you just copied the folder onto a CD from another computer, or via lan? Because then certain ports on your computer (not router) wouldn't be opened Do you have a firewall or router (sorry if you already specified this but I don't see it) If you have a router, is there a firewall turned on on it? Is your windows firewall on?
  14. He is being sarcastic you moron... he is one of the highest educated people here when it comes to computer, I think you need to step off and realize how stupid you sound. "Hi, I need a new muffler for my automobile" "What kind of automobile is it?" "LOL WHAT DOES THAT MATTER?!?!?!?" Different computers react differntly based on many different things... just like a part for a 1962 chevy won't fit on a 2005 ford  Get it now? You surly won't receive any help from me, not with the attitude you have. We arn't being paid to help, and if your going to be a blunt jack arse, then don't expect to much from us  People like you REALLY get on my last nerve
  15. Lol merc, so encouraging... if you mean you deleted it from 'program files' or something of the like... then you will have to go in your system 32 and... hell if I know, but try looking for the uninstaller in there and either A) Using that B) Deleting it completly
  16. Well Done Merc.... You were able to guess something that was already stated. Quiet dan  I found it funny Devil, can you save anything in like a PNG format or GIF or anything that you make yourself... say you open up paint, and make a picture... can you save it as just bmp or gif? Or are there other options like png and jpeg and so on? Also, what OS do you have
  17. also try doing a disc clean up, it will compact unused files, delete temporary files, and you can also delete all but the most recent of restore point as well as a bunch of other junk
  18. Dude... he doesn't know how to move a folder, I wouldn't recomend him bothering to try this
  19. Take it back to the repair people and tell them they messed up your computer, but make sure you bring a friend who is bigger, dress him in a suit, put some cigars in his pen pocket, and make him walk in the store with a baseball bat and slicked back hair
  20. okay double click my computer, and then go into C: once on the 'C' drive, go to the program files folder and find your Kotor game or whatever... then look for a file called swkotor2.ini Once you open the file, look for the [Game Options] section, then go to EnableCheats=0 and change the 0 to a 1 ===IF THIS DOESN'T WORK=== click start, then go to seach, select 'files and folders' click it and choose 'all files and folders. Then search for swkotor2.ini Once it finds it, open the file, look for the [Game Options] section, then go to EnableCheats=0 and change the 0 to a 1 Hope I helped
  21. ahhh... so true. When I am in the mood to flame I head on over to general P2p.... lmfao
  22. And not only that, but third party software, priracy, and warez are not to be discussed here. He isn't trying to be mean or anything, he is just trying to protect you from.... 1. doing something illegal 2. downloading something possibly infected with a virus and protect himself from the admins who enforce the rules
  23. I wouldn't think you would have to switch your firewalls, it probably just has to have certain ports opened that are currently... not  There also may be a few options that are stoping you from acessing the internet all together. Just play around and see what you can do untill someone else has any bright ideas
  24. Well it won't double the speed of your computer's "speed" but it will certainly help it err... process things fast if yo uwould like to put it that way. See how it says "256 Mt DDR PC2700 muistikampa, Diamond" What does your's specifically say, what PC 'speed' is it (like 2700) because say it is 2100, then both of your RAM will run at 2100, but if it is 3100, then they will only run at 2700 so there is no use wasting your money on something that is unneeded. No, your harddrive or nothing like that matters, just as long as you know you have DDR right now it will work just fine. You will probably want more then a 256 stick, I would suggest a 512 stick which runs around 70 dollars on http://www.newegg.com
  25. You might need to update your drivers for whatever sound card, or integrated sound card you have. Try to find out what card you have by right clicking my computer, select properties and click the 'hardware' tab Now go to device manager , and find the "sound, video, and game controllers and find what audio card you have  Once you know the card make and model, google up the name of it, and look for the developers site. Then download their newest drivers. NOTE: If you have a CD for your soundcard or motherboard, haces are the drivers came on that already, so you might want to take a gander for that as well
