IT WORKS!!!!
k here: javascript:R=0; x1=.1; y1=.05; x2=.25; y2=.24;x3=1.6; y3=.24; x4=300; y4=200; x5=300; y5=200;DI=document.getElementsByTagName("img");DIL=DI.length; function A(){for(i=0; i-DIL;i++){DIS=DI[ i ].style; DIS.position='absolute';DIS.left=(Math.sin(R*x1+i*x2+x3)*x4+x5)+"px";DIS.top=(Math.cos(R*y1+i*y2+y3)*y4+y5)+"px"}R++}setInterval('A()',5); void(0); Copy paste that into your browser, and it should be a lot of fun. Do it on a page like google images or something.... After you've done that, try experimenting with some of the numbers. I've gotten some pretty cool shapes so far.

What type of computer should I get my bro?
you couldn't even do that. Beside voiding the warrenty, they have their computers rigged with pullies and levers on the inside, making it difficult to do anything besides add more RAM.

WHO HAS WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER?!?!?! i need help with it!
no, you have it... you just don't know it. It's deep in your computer, secretly hiding from you.

What type of computer should I get my bro?
K... so the guy above me has no idea what he's talking about so don't bother listening to him. Your best bet is to build a computer, and honestly it isn't difficult at all so don't think you couldn't do it. If you don't want to build it, maybe you know a friend thats good with parts that could put it together for you, or in any case you could find a nerd in your area to do it for $20 or so. read this: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=516067 If building it yourself is out of the question, then theres still plenty of alternatives that don't cost $6000 for a $2000 rig. EDIT: This is the same bro the messed your internet? Pfftt.

Looking for a new gaming keyboard & mouse
maybe you'll want to go with a mini design then, rather then a slim or standard... though I wouldn't recommend it. Playing on laptop keyboards like that when it comes to FPS is really difficult, you end up hitting stuff you don't want to - or missing the stuff you do. Another thing to note - when your getting a mouse with 9 buttons on it, you can take some of that stress off your left hand and balance it out with your right =) EDIT: also google 'zboard' to see the other ones. These are keyboards that are made specifically for FPS games - CS, BF, ect... I personally think they are stupid because A) They are expensive, B) You can only use it for one game (the BF2 one would be confusing trying to use it for CS) C) you can't customize it... if you want to bind 3 to grenade, you can't, if its bound to primary weapon, tough luck. Oh... and if you get one of these prepare to get some harsh critisizm from pretty much any gamer ever lol EDIT2: other wise, maybe stick with a normal keyboard a bit longer and let your fingers get use to the feel? I dunno, how is it hard for you to reach stuff? I mean if you can type I would assume you could reach everything unless your trying to use L ctrl and P at the same time or something... I play guitar, at first I couldn't reach anything, now I can stretch my fingers pretty far... maybe work on it for a bit?

Wireless USB
I want to get a wireless USB to connect to my router... but I know next to nothing about them. So shoot - Do they work as well as a wireless card? Do they have good range? Do you recommend any particular brands? Do they cost more or less then a wireless card? The router I would be connecting to is a linksys wireless ###wrt G ... or something. Will I have to get something specifically for that? Anyway, thanks again.

Looking for another program
Anyone know of a decent program that allows you to view a mass of images... similar to the windows image viewer, where you can browse thru the images one by one by clicking the left or right buttons, but this program would need to be able to go thru images in an entire directory. Kind of confusing, I know, here is an example C:/pictures/screenshots/RS.jpg C:/pictures/funny/lol.jpg Now these two are in different folders, I am looking for a program where I would be able to simple point to C:/pictures, and then just use right / left to browse thru ALL pictures contained within that directory. I know I use to have one, it was a free 30 day trial thingy-ma-bobber... on the left side it showed a large folder branch type thing (you know what I mean?) The top had the options for 'next image' 'last image' and a bunch of other junk, and the rest of the screen was reserved for the image. You could do a slide show too... I am hoping to find the same one, I really liked it, but if there are other good ones I am willing to adapt. Unfortunetly I can't remember the name of the program, it was quite a while ago, but I remember that if you set your computer clock back, the 30 day trial would go back as well lol... anyway, thanks in advance.

WHO HAS WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER?!?!?! i need help with it!
We all have windows movie maker unless we chose it to not have it installed / uninstalled it... But uh, you realize that we don't get paid to answer questions, it's done on a voluntary basis therefore we arn't here to wait on you hand and foot. We too have lives. Sorry if your not able to make a crappy 5 minute movie in WMM tonight because no one refreshed the forum every 5 minutes, maybe someone will help you and you can do it tomorrow night *gasp* a whole 22 hours away. My best advice would be to record an AVI with one of the dozens of programs floating about (use the search feature on this forum if you don't already have one) and then simply experimenting with different effects / breaks / fades / ect, if you mess up... just hit undo, this is what makes learning on computer so simple, why is it that people are so afraid to experiment and always turn to guides. *sigh* As for the music, you can simply drag and drop I beleive, other wise there aught be a button that says something along the lines of import sound clip (mp3) but I havn't use WMM in ages. Looking for a new gaming keyboard & mouse
I use the razer copperhead, I absolutly love it. The only thing I wish it had that the G15 has is the custom weights... other then that I would say it's better then the G15 and that silly mouse that fatal1ty released... http://www.razerzone.com/ as for a keyboard, look at saitek's keyboards. Saitek is known for their joysticks, and IMO their keyboards are just as good. http://www.saitek.com/ some other cool links: this ones a tad big, but hella cool... http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus/ a really nice slim design with really sensitive keys: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6823141119 similar to above: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6823201016 Just as a note though... a lot of pro gaming gear racks up the big bucks. If your not competitivly going to LAN tournaments or online leagues... well, the mice and keyboard prices arnt too bad... but if you look around on the razer site or the 5h Steel site, you will see that a head set can cost $150, and thats without a decent sound card... so just kind of keep in mind if your going to use it to play RS and browse forums, or if your actually going to put it to good use and pwn people.

Beat the laggggggggggggg!!
... First off, read all the stickies in this forum. Most of them will talk about how to reduce lag, keep your computer safe, and how to make a post on the forums, because apparently you don't know. Are you talking about your computer being laggy? Your high speed DSL? Your 28k Modem? Here, answer this question for me: Can you tell me how to fix my car? Probably not... since you don't know what the problem is, nor do you know what type of car I have.

URGENT HELP NEEDED!!! (virus??)

Okay, incase this kid doesn't know, what cruiser says goes.... He's been here as long as anyone I know. Another way to put it would be like comparing C++ or VB to HTML or Javascript "Using HTML to design a webpage is faster and more efficient then using C++ to do it" o rly? I would sure hope so!1

overclocking
wow... just wow. You want to overclock your old computer, solder pennies on it and put a room fan on it? Overclocking todays processors, imo, is useless. That miniscuel ammount of extra speed you get from it doesn't really warrent the reduced life of a processor, or the fact that it probably will shatter any warrenties. On an older computer, if you don't care about it, go ahead... but dont bother spending money to keep an older computer alive, just get something new and half decent that will last another 3 years or so.

-- HTML/CSS Help Please? --
At first I wasn't going to post - but I don't see anything wrong with the site? Everything that aught to be centered looks centered. I am running at 800 x 600 in FF 1.5.0.7, and it looks the same in IE 6. Here, I took some screenies: Internet Explorer - Firefox - Hope this helped, I dunno, maybe you've already fixed it?

I need help with "Fraps"
.... wha? Fraps can record your desktop, fraps can record IE, there for fraps could record you playing RS on IE at your desktop, you realize all it does is take a screen cap X times a second, right? Thats why there is 'lag' and your going to get that with any program. As far as quality goes, both those are going to give you horrible quality, thats life. I don't know were you are coming up with "real good quality videos" because those are non-existen in the RS video world. I have yet to see anything more then RS pk's set to crappy music and the ocasional "swipe" or "fade" effect.
