Well, I thought it would be interesting to see how many blackmarks some of the more colorful people on tip.it have. I have 2.5 myself, an off color joke that I made last summer just came through the customer support system (I know :P). Anyways, I'm muted for a day. :oops: Anyone else have amusing stories about getting reported? ICK, I didn't know that mutes applied to PMs too. Thanks :) But to mrbun, my original question was in regard to what to do when you get a Dharok/Verac tunnel. You are forced to pray due to the fact that you can't just hide behind a convenient piece of rubble or a ladder.

Well, in a topic awhile ago, Leesters said that black salamanders were awesome for barrows. I got a hold of one, and it didn't impress me terribly much. It doesn't have range, so you can't safespot your tunnel brother if he is melee. It's 2handed, so you can't wear a shield against verac. Finally, I accidentally left it on range attack and wasted 20 shots or so against guthan :roll: Does anybody who uses it have any useful pointers?

Ideal for barrows would be: 70+ range - by far the best way to take on ahrim, although you will survive decently with it in the 60s 70+ defence - if you wear rune armor while maging torag & guthan, you don't need to pray 60+ magic - you only need 50 for slayer dart, but you will probably miss a lot 55+ slayer - required for slayer dart

I have gotten to the falling log trap three times now. Each time I search the floor, and then try to get across, but each time the log nails me... what am I doing wrong?

Well, I killed about 20 elves with the anchor, then 3 elves with the scimitar. About halfway through the second elf I decided the scimitar is much much better....

After all of the changes to the anchor, would you choose to use it or a dragon scimitar with a rune defender? EDIT: Well. An unexpected bump a month and a half later. Well, if a mod sees this and thinks it's outdated, feel free to lock/delete it I suppose...

Well, all the guides say you can get a secret reward if you wait long enough and then talk to Martin. I did the quest last summer (and finished Pt 2 in January). He still says they haven't grown. How long does it take??? (and what is the reward anyway?) Thanks :thumbsup:

I've often wondered about this. I probably won't ever quit RS, just take breaks every now and then. The declining RS community doesn't really bother me as I just have a few close friends that I play with - if I see a scammer I report him, or a scumbag... I... ignore him? I have put a lot of time into RS, as many other people doubtlessly have. When I am in a runescapey mood I will go on and do some skilling, and when I am bored I go and do something fun. The question is, will RS last forever? I don't see why not. Although it's true that the community is getting worse, it's still paying up. Even if this ever changes, I'm fairly sure Jagex could at least break even keeping the game open, like with classic. RS requires that you put a lot of time into it, and I don't see why I should throw it away just because of a bunch of 10 year olds.

I personally don't have a problem with luring (I don't do it of course :roll: no wildy skills). Anyone that bleeding stupid deserves to get cleaned. It helps cleanse morons from RS. For those of you geniuses out there, you get a very specific warning when you choose to enter the wilderness. If you choose to enter it's your decision. Anyone choosing to enter the wilderness is fair game.

Hopefully I will know within the next 92 days... By then I expect to be thoroughly tired of firemaking... Luckily, I never run out of goals. If I can't come up with one right off the top of my head, I work on making some money, which I have a perpetual shortage of....
