  2. Can it be??? Jagex mods giving contradictory answers???
  3. Can you improve on the perfect? 8-)
  4. Comment? Je ne parle pas l'anglais. Tu parles le francais? The only trouble is when the noob can speak french too :wall:
  5. no im not, can you confirm it? Nope, trapped in a f2p world atm
  6. the onyx bracelet :wall:
  7. I would donate, except I'm trapped in a non members world right now... :wall: Good luck with your goals (no doubt you'll achieve them), and I think that you should go for a fully upgraded house, and if you want spend leftovers on a nice drop party. House first though :P
  8. One small favor was made with the intention of being the most annoying quest in the game, so I'm going with it.

I agree with this guy. The reason people don't like it when you pray: in order to have a fair chance in the fight, they have to pray too. Whoop dee doo. Now the fight is going to go on exactly like it did, except taking twice as long. The reason people don't like it when you carry a teleport: if you carry one, you are effectively saying that anyone who fights you has no chance of getting your items. Would you want to fight someone with that mindset? Safing is a bit trickier, but along the same lines, it makes it less fun. I've seen the "I have a right to pray and tele" sigs, and you do. But, stay away from serious pkers when you do it, because they don't like it. They are putting their equipment on the line, and it's unfair for you not to. Now you might say "PMG i shouldn't have to risk my equipment if I don't want to!", but think about it. If everyone pked with teleports, no one would ever pk anyone. Every fight would go attack attack attack attack *ooops that was a high hit I'm leaving*. Now, if you like that idea, I absolutely encourage everyone who sees this fight to always pray when the fight goes against you, and teleport at the first sign of a hit above 20. If you don't, be polite and show your opponent the degree of respect that you don't plan to short him and leave him with nothing when (if) he defeats you.
  10. :P that's awesome. By the way, I have always wondered... do you even have a runescape account? You make all sorts of great contributions to the tip.it community, but you have never once talked about actually playing the game...
  11. I'll race :P 88 fm currently, whichever division that was in  btw, I'm burning willows in lumbridge
  12. Are you sure the closest iron mine isn't the dorgeshuun one?
  13. Race you to 99 :D Oh wait... I'll be a member for 2 months this summer, and plan on totally ditching firemaking :P Maybe I'll beat you anyways... buying willows from lumbridge general ftw
  14. Currently our highest prayer requires lvl 52 and I don't think we got any armours that require high pray either. This means prayer has the lowest "highest usable lvl" gab. We got over lvl 90 spells, we got lvl 90 craftable materials, 90 slayable beasts, 71+ huntable monsters and even armours&weapons which require higher level than prayer. At the moment people aren't really cheered to get higher prayer. If you aren't a high lvl staker, pker or don't want high combat for some reason, you got no reason to take a high prayer lvl. So far I've personally thought of the following prayers: * Boost the energy recharge. Would help agility training, running around the map for farming purposes and in some cases even pkers. * +20% boost to att, str, def, ranged and magic. Obvious reasons :P * Combine protection spells: By combiting 2 protection prayers (from magic and melee, melee and ranged or ranged and magic) into one high (80 or even 90+) pkers and stakers would get a reason to train prayer, magic and ranged instead of purely melee. By having 2 protections in one it forces people to take every type of a warrior to their team or carry the items to ko the enemy with a variours styles. Combined protection prayer would make killing jad really easy :), doubt that'll happen though. Prayer has always seemed like a rather uncomplete skill to me...
  15. I find that it helps not to make it public knowledge that you play rs :P I mean, a lot of people think that it's a rather geeky thing to be into. Now, I don't think that there's anything wrong with playing a computer game, and enjoying it, but not everyone sees it that way. I just keep my rs "life" separate from my real life. I don't feel that it really affects me, but then I'm not as avid a skiller as everyone is (I'm also a bit of a nerd [in a chess, math, science, onlyabletodo20pushups kind of way], so I don't think that I have much of a rep to lose anyway  ). I'm satisfied with the way that things have worked out for me. I wouldn't say I'm a lady killer, but I have some friends that are girls. Some day maybe I'll get more interested in one of them. Heck, if one of them asked me out ( If you are feeling upset about rs being the thing that you are best at in life, find something else that you are interested in, and pursue it. It might even help to take a [small] break from rs for awhile. Not too long though, we're all dying to see you get 99 slayer
  16. Perhaps one of the most ignorant things I have ever read. I am tired of the attitude that F2P deserves nothing but trash because they don't pay to play. What do you think would happen to runescape if Jagex removed f2p? There would be virtually no new members, as virtually everyone starts out f2p. If you just ran into an internet game, would you pay $5 just to see if it's good? I think that allowing the most dedicated skillers in the game to show off their 99s wouldn't hurt anyone. If nothing else, Jagex could move the f2p skill masters into the f2p world. In regard to the 2 posts above me, I would like to point out how much harder it would be to create capes that test whether you have ever been a member, and knock them down accordingly. It won't hurt Jagex at all to give f2p the 99 capes - no one becomes a member solely for the purpose of buying one. To repeat myself, the most dedicated skillers in the game should be able to show off their achievements (massively harder than getting 99s in p2p). Of course, Jagex would release a cabbage collecting skill before giving f2p the capes anyway so...
  17. If archeology is as boring as it is in digsite, it's going to stay at level 1 on my character...
  18. How long is the animation for each cast? If it's fast enough, it could be a good way to train magic [a little]and make [a little] money at the same time....
  19. I doubt that Jagex could make a whole skill out of summoning.... I think we may get it in bits and pieces, through quests (skeleton mages in swan song, combination creatures in tower of life {which I don't think Jagex has done with - remember those little lighty up blue squares that no one has figured out yet?}).
  20. Some of these seem a little bit devoid of challenges. What is there to do in lumbridge? Kill a cow? I feel similarly about the others (excluding the elven area - plenty challenging, just not very much there to do) - there's plenty to do, but I can't think of many things for the "hard" category.
  21. 180k 8-) I lost rune large, kite, glory, like 10k cash, some other stuff I don't remember... I had just finished monkey madness and wanted to get all the greegrees. I figured I was totally safe in monkey form and wouldn't need any food to get through the dungeon....
  22. I think the desert is too deserted... hehe. But seriously. In karamja there's loads to do. The desert is merely a vast expanse of nothingness There's the agility pyramid, the plunder pyramid, the sophanem catacombs, the desert treasure pyramid... seems like plenty to me. By the way, didn't Jagex specifically say that they would focus on areas? We already have our skills to keep track of our progress in training skills.
  23. That made me laugh salim:D Sure, it's an acceptable, if rather dumb practice. It's your rare, if you want to throw millions out the window, sure. I think it would be rather sad to see all the last of these unique items exit the game forever, but that probably won't ever happen - who wants to alch a sign of incredible wealth? Rares are slowly reaching the hands of people who plan to wear them forever. They are safe forever, even if this as effectively destroys them as alching them. I think the game would lose a unique part of itself if rares were to completely exit the game. How would the destruction of the rares market make the game more "peaceful"? Last time I checked, the rares market consists of a few merchants in worlds 1 and 2, and some forum topics. What a huge impact removing those would have... In conclusion, it's entirely acceptable, although you are never going to make a difference by doing it. More and more people are buying rares for keeps, while it's still possible to make enough money for them from scratch. Eventually, they will all be off the market from one reason or another.
  24. You don't get 99s for utility. 99 smithing has a use. You can smith full rune. How many 99 smithers do you think actually take advantage of this ability often? If you are rich enough for 99 smithing, you almost certainly have armor better than rune. I'd say cooking and fletching are the least admirable, as they are certainly the most common (thanks to cook/fletch x). 99 firemaking requires constant concentration, and has a cooler emote. True, it doesn't help you much, but how much does 99 cooking/fletching help you? That said, 99 firemaking definitely comes in third for easiest 99. 99 strength capes are rather common too, but I don't disrespect them. Ultimately, any 99 requires considerable dedication to achieve, and I would never say "99 cooking PMG NOOB!"
