:o 600k more xp... Congratulation on the longest 99 in the game! Let's see... in the way of hard 99s, you still have construction, herblore, smithing (kind of), and woodcutting + mining + fishing (once again, kind of). I'm going to laugh when you run out of hard 99s :P

I agree with Reb. However, I think it's fairly simple to guess what rich people would spend their money on. Lacking rares, they would search for other ways to show off their wealth. The main ways to do this are 99 capes (construction, herblore etc), and items such as the third age armor sets. It's also possible they would just train skills, not necessarily looking for a cape. There's not much else to do in the game. Naturally, this would drastically affect demand, causing the rise in prices of materials that other people have mentioned.

Actually, slayer monsters are some of the most crowded training spots in the game. The good slayer monsters anyway... If you hate clue scroll, the drops themselves from the monsters are quite nice too.

1-items only attainable through quests that most people toss 2-the unenchanted forms of valuable jewelry 3-untrimmed slayer capes :D 4-obscure items that no one cares about (except people who want an item not many people have :P)(teddy bears, tiles, vampire dust etc) I think that covers a pretty broad spectrum of items...

If I recall correctly, BTS said the varrock update would be in the last week of may. We are on the third week -.- . Sorry folks, gotta wait another week. In fact, BTS only mentioned 3 things this month... who knows, maybe we'll get a filler...

First off, I just wanted to tell you in advance Wakka, i've followed this thread a while, enjoyed the screenies and all the advice. As to The Old Nite thing, either he never died, or another person is on the file, because that is not a fake picture, and he has gotten 2 level ups this week. I'm pushing towards someone else on the file, as I doubt anyone would make that sick of a joke of someone dieing. No there isn't :roll: He had 2079 total, and the release of hunter and construction have raised it. Interestingly enough, his total is only 2080 (probably due to a hiscores glitch, like when n0valyfe's magic disappeared from the hiscores). But no one is on his account.

My ignore list is huge, but just because I just it to record fairy rings codes :D About the only mean things I do are when I'm firemaking. I'm beginning to regret choosing to wear my meat tenderizer during my 2 month exile in f2p. At any given moment, I am more likely to have a level 10 following me asking what it is/where to get it/threatening to report me if I don't give it to him. I try to come up with a new sarcastic insult each time. my ignore list is huge, too, i have about 46 people there. all have annoyed me incredibly. the worst thing ive ever done was to blow up at all the noobs who ask where i got ym anchor or my crab claw. I yelled at this one kid, i was, like, "SHUT UP! QUIT ASKING ME WHERE I GOT MY {cabbage} ANCHOR! I GET THIS EVERY SINGLE [cabbage] DAY! QUIT IT! JUST QUIT IT! IM NOT [cabbage] CUSTOMER SUPPORT! One thing that I'm wondering about. You said that jad takes 4 crystal bow charges to kill. That's 1k shots. Assuming that each shot takes ~1 second (they really take longer), that's 16 minutes of continually shooting at Jad. In all the vids I've seen, it seems to take considerably less time (and crystal bow charges).

As mentioned, the shilo gloves make it completely obselete for people who use duradel. With Chaeldar folks, the difference is still extremely marginal, especially since you still have to get to the next assignment anyway (time consuming, while from Zanaris, you can just take a fairy ring to your new assignment). So it pretty much balances out either way. So no effect on slayer.

Actually anything over 1kg starts slowing you down and thus, losing energy faster and maybe even eventually walking the course - not good. Ty for the mention of penance gloves, I don't have them myself, i'll add that to the guide ^_^ tyvm "great layout, but arent cakes better for agility than lobs" yes they are great portions, but i've lost more tickets using cakes than lobs because sometimes you're so close to getting to the ticket, but you keep failing and you have to eat each portion of the cake until you can get past, whereas with a lob, it's relatively low hp restore anyway, and you don't have to eat 3 times. After all, time is crucial in this game. Actully, cakes are better. They heal 4 in ech bite, so it is easier to keep ur hp between 12-19 where you lose the least amount of hp while staying safe. A lob would bring ur HP abov, and thus have to eat more. So wait until you're down to 7 hp :roll: Pretty good guide, but there are a few mistakes 1: I'm fairly sure boots of lightness always lower your weight by 4. Not sure though 2:If you try ape atoll before level 70, you are going to be owned :P

The scimitar is the best overall weapon in the game after the whip. It may not hit as hard as a d b ax, but it's a LOT faster, resulting in more damage per minute anyway. Let me remind you that even the abyssal whip has a rather trashy special, and as a result, many people train with another weapon in their inventory to use the special with. Popular choices are excalibur (when facing high level enemies, the def boosting spec is good), d b ax (when facing weak enemies where you hit often and don't get hit often even after the reduced attack and defence), and the dds (useful for creatures such as trolls, where you can kill the weak ones until you get a full spec bar, then go put on melee prayer and unload some dds specs on a troll general). By the way, I don't like the dragon long for the same reason as the d b ax - although it's stats are better, this is more than made up for by the scimitar's speed. (this is especially true in the case of the d long: a few extra points in exchange for an entire speed category)
