If RS was in realtime (mining... smithing... woodcutting... fishing... fletching... farming.... walking.... flying.... boats.... all dead or unimaginably slow). Can you imagine taking a month-long boat trip from Port Sarim to Karamja? How about the boat to Pest Control... If you could get full from eating too much food. If failing an agility obstacle actually did what it would do IRL (pit of lava.... [bleep]es....), instead of taking some small % of your health. If you couldn't hold tens of thousands of stackable items at once... There a loads of these lol

So you were f2p fishing in a p2p area, you died for no reason, didn't lose your items, and asked some jmods that you had on your friends list... #-o

Thank you! :mrgreen: Didn't do much skilling today (or at least not yet...), but I did get 7th place at the Mathcounts Chapter Round (missed making it to the State Round by one place... missed a trophy too :wall: )

The only application I can see for the whip spec is in cwars. Everywhere else, the DDS is superior. People don't seem to get that Jagex is not going to keep improving stuff forever (or at least shouldn't), because it upsets the balance of the game. I am vividly annoyed by people yelling for weapons and armor with level 80 skill requirements. One, it would make Barrows absolutely obselete, and two, it just makes the game too easy. People generally don't like games with overpowered weapons tbh... Now the case of the whip special still may not be as extreme as that, can you imagine what the wilderness would be like if whips had a spec as good as the DDS?

Updated, 73 mining. I also managed to make 2k today by buying 5 run meds and alching them. : Now come on, I am going to need more replies than this, I hate blogs where more than half the posts are from the author...

Here is a picture of my bank and stats at the time I started this blog. I will update the bank pic from time to time (and don't you dare say a word about my 2M which is amazing and I don't care what you say I am filthy stinking rich :evil: ). I know... it needs a LOT of cleaning up... Here are my current stats, and here are the stats of my friend that I'm trying to get better than. \ I am part-time F2P (~4 months of membership per year, for one year so far :roll: ). It's boring, and that's why I decided to set a goal to entertain myself - getting my stat's higher than my insanely superior friend. :-w Current Goals I decided to start with mining since it is one of the only skills that can be trained as effectively in F2P as P2P. I was level 70 when I started, and 72 as of the start of this blog. Currently I'm working on getting it to 74, by which time I will hopefully be P2P again and able to smith and fletch the coals I mined (I bought iron) into darts, getting my smithing (although not fletching :wall: ) ahead of Firebrand's. If I don't reach P2P, I will start working on prayer (ice giants). Also, I want to get my QP cape back as soon as possible (I am at 232 QP, my membership expired the day before Contact came out). Long-term Goals Ultimately I want 99 magic (~10k pest control points at 50 points per hour = 200 hours, 5 hours a day = 40 days). 99 magic in just 40 days??? I don't see what I have miscalculated... anyway that will be this summer. After that, if I do make it, I will go for 99 cooking to get my magic cape trimmed, and to help boost my total xp up to where Firebrand's will be.... Anyway, my melee stats will be in the 80s when I finish, and I will use the opporunity to go chinchompaneering a little too (getting my ranged to at least Firebrand's +1 :mrgreen: ). If you are buying an edible rare, and the person hasn't noted it, decline the trade then trade him again and decline really quickly. Then watch him to see if he does the eating animation...

Just hang onto all your monkfish and cook them. 99 cooking is by far the easiest, if you are only after the trim.

3k tokens all the way to rune for me. \ I don't remember which took the longest, but it wasn't bronze for me. I did it without a wealth.

Definetely use black d hide legs instead of initiate. Blood burst is good too. In fact, just read Muggi's two guides in the Archive of Wisdom (completing the fight caves without guthans, and without defence, both have useful info)

From what I have heard, ice burst is the fastest (costing ~1k per cast), but IDK how many casts you would need.
