  1. It really sucks you got banned, one time I was in the wildy and lagged out or something, when I went back to the rest of the world, I had the "attack" option on other players, but I couldnt do it. I logged out and back in and it was gone.
  2. Keep in mind all the "buyable" 99s still require lotsa money, which in itself is a considerable achievement. Many 99s are rather "easy" to each, if you use the easier methods (coughpestcontrolcough). However, the one I respect most is without a doubt slayer, it requires a massive investment in time, and even though to some extent you can buy it (cannoncannoncannon), if still takes a LONG time. You are likely to max quite a few other stats on the road to 99 slayer....
  3. Hmm... if it DID happen, there would be lots of mad TT'ers who got their third age armor the day that it became makeable and the price dropped in half.... besides, would Jagex make the range armor craftable, and and just leave the mage and melee?
  4. On school days 1-2 hours, when I don't have school its 6ish (depends on when I get kicked off :P) EDIT: Lol just noticed it was posted in the P2P forum; IS THAT IMPLYING SOMETHING???
  5. Yay just 2 quests left to do, so I wondered if anybody could give me advice on the how to get the rather high skill requirements. I am currently training agility for MEP2, I have heard you need about 70 (I tried at 59, and after 5 tries gave up on the first agility obstacle). If anybody could post the level they did the quest at, and how hard it was, and what the best agility training is it could be great. Also, I need to do that stupid fairy tale quest. I already have the farming part covered, with evil stew (only a 1/13 chance of getting what I need though, so I may just level it a bit more to to 44 to get a 2/13 chance...), but the 57 herblore is going to be troublesome. A greensmans ale (M) will make it possible at 55, but that's still a ways to go for me. I really need to know what the best way to get my herblore up would be (taking into account speed AND cost effectiveness). (I'm not worried about getting the Gorak claw :P ) EDITS: Thanks everybody! I used spicy stews for Devious Minds, and was planning to do it for farming, but I missed the part where it said they apply to herblore too! I guess that's what I'll be doing. As for agility, I have been hanging around in the wildy for a few hours; I may give the quest a second go once I run out of food. There aren't any parts of the quest where if you fail one set of handholds, you have to get up several more to get back where you were, are there?
  6. A combination of nature crafting and Cave Horror slaying (Masks + Lvl 3 Clues = Good :D )
  7. Poor Jagex.... I can just see Andrew reading this thead and bursting into tears.... I didn't really like the hat myself, it's having a good time in my costume room, but the tree is fairly nice - I hope it doesn't disappear at the end of the event.
  8. and there I was feeling happy I had 10.... (thinking about mounting one in my house)
  9. Because the zoo is magic. \
  10. the problem is on my whole computer, not just runescape. i can play pinball; i get the cheesy music, but not the sound of the flippers or the ball. I have already gone to the sound panel and made sure nothing is muted. I was messing with windows media player a few days ago... could that possibly affect anything?
  11. Umm.... my computer just quit doing sound effects, although it continues to play music, does anybody know what this could be?
  12. Whenever i try deadfalling, the trap collapses in seconds :(
  13. OH MAW GAWD A TYPO!!1111111 Anyway, good article. =D> And yay first page post.
  14. Hehe are you sure Dessous was loyal to Zaros? In desert treasure he seemed an awful lot like a warrior of Zamorak...
  15. Hmmm thats interesting because I was playing pest control once and I was using scimmy, guy next to me was whip, we seemed to be hitting at the same speed.... anyway nice find with the salamander, I suppose it isnt' surprising that it's semi-powerful, given that it has the most requirements for any weapon in the game....
  16. It's cheap, but is really really boring. Pest Control makes you money, and is only slightly boring. Guess which I use?
  17. Hmm is that the one you can buy from that one guy in that one place? (
  18. :XD: That is HILARIOUS! I have gotta go kill some of them when i get my p2p back.... anyways, what were you doing around the green drags in the first place? :P
  19. Yeah, like the average 9 year old's IQ isn't low enough without playing runescape...
  20. Uh-oh looks like somebody forgot to update it today :shame: it has been day 3 for 2 days now...
  21. I was wondering about ice-bursting (after 70 magic :P ) Flambeed - would this work?
  22. #-o I am trying to do the quest but none of the fansites seem to agree on anything As you can see, they agree on virtually nothing. I was wondering if somebody who has done the quest could clear some of this up.
  23. Well... they should but you won't make much of a profit if you plan to pray through all 6 brothers. There are loads of guides for barrows out there (I think the best I have seen is Leesters' - check the Archive of Wisdom), and they all tell how to avoid praying through the brothers. Manacit also did some awesome videos (that load instantly might I add) of every single mage method (the only acceptable way asides from Verac'ing). You also should use prayer potions instead of super restores... I think (depends on how significant the price difference is, but you really don't need to worry about restoring your stats at the barrows, the only skills that go down [agility, and your melee stats] are not worth bringing back up since the effect is marginal, and you don't use them a whole lot).
  24. Lol good luck Freshwacka, and Trojan too. =D> I wonder if I will ever get a 99... #-o :-k :boohoo: That's right, 5 (6 \ ) smileys in 2 (3) sentences. I personally think I will not try to get a 99 until I have finished every quest... that should buy me a good bit of time (ok fine 4 sentences)
  25. Leesters - could you post a post-( If I were you, I would be selling quite a few of those items. Who needs rune when you have full dragon and full torags? Who needs mystic when you have full ahrims and enchanted? (actually you don't even need that many, but at the very most you could want a barrows and non-barrows set for every combat method) Also, as nice as it is to have every full barrows set I would seriously dump your ahrims staff and torags hammers. Alternatively, you could just pray that Jagex finallys pays heed to that year old thread calling for a new bank system, where you can lock items to stay in place with 0 of it currently in the bank. Anyway, good luck recovering more money than has ever passed and probably will ever pass through my hands...
