Does your uncle want a scooter(moped) or motorcycle? Depending on which, just search those words using google. To see some examples of good 50cc scooters go here: http://powersports.honda.com/scooters/ Obviously, these are new and relatively expensive, but examples nonetheless. Feel free to ask any specific questions that cross your mind.

  3. Why so serious? I'm a student and maybe a winemaker -depending on your local legislation. :D

In the US, I believe you can drive a 150cc or less scooter without a license. For $500 you're looking at a scooter in the range of 50cc.

I'm way to easy going to get into a fight, but it doesn't mean I don't carry a knife at all times. :D Next knife I plan on getting: A little paracord grip and I'll be in business.
  6. I commonly judge people based on very little but looks and mannerisms. It's a bad, bad habit. It doesn't help when I'm right (atleast on the surface) about a person.
  7. That's nice looking Cherokee you got there! Good luck with it, I hope that project turns out well. I don't even own a normal car yet, but I want an old CJ-5. I could never see myself buying any of these new sissy, urbanized wranglers.
  8. I like both, but I prefer dogs. When I get my own place, I will definitely be getting a dog. Whenever I get my own yard that's a reasonable size, I'll get a goat too.
  9. There is always something to do outside or with a girlfriend as deloria said.
  10. I pretty much have to agree with this. Anyways my family used to be fairly wealthy. Our business was doing very well so even after I wrecked my 2000 Firebird (which my parents paid for up front) they still got me a 2008 Eclipse (though it's not paid off). I used to get $500 worth of clothes for my birthday or basically whatever I wanted as long as I didn't just take it all for granted. Now my family is filing bankruptcy and we're losing our house, vehicles, etc. I'm finding it difficult to scrape together the money for a pack of cigarettes here and there and my family is really limited to what we buy atm. So I've seen the high points and the lower points of wealth. If I may ask, what business was your family in?
  11. Faith is blind. God does not exist in a form that can be seen or comprehended, but people have faith he exists and listens to them. To have faith is to believe in something without evidence. Now, I'm not saying this is a completely bad thing, but people should take care not to let faith cloud their judgement.
  12. I've always viewed wealth as part of the household/family. So, yes, I would call them 'rich kids', but as soon as they leave their home (assuming they leave) they become kids with rich parents. It is unfortunate that rich kids seem to get more opportunities than less well-off kids. So it goes.

Not that I'm defending Palin, but with all the rumors and possible facts going around about her, I'm confused as to what is actually true. Basically, citation/source/shred of evidence s'il vous plait.
  14. Try to talk about the past with her. Why did she yell at your mom? If everything was going well before that point, it could have been just a minor issue mixed with a bad day. Talking is strongly suggested. Edit: Question answered :D

Protesting funerals might be a bit much, but the general anti-gay and anti-everything-except-them should be completely allowed. They may be a hate group, but it is well within their right to hate. In comparison to flag burning (and more on topic), a person has the right to burn a flag and does not need a reason. However, one would hope that individual knows how it will affect other people's opinion of them (if that makes sense). Personally, if I saw someone burning a flag for any reason, I would think they just want attention or are being hateful unless they don't understand the symbolism behind the flag (i.e. a young child).

I heard AIDs started through chain letters.

Maybe it's already been said (I didn't read through all the pages), but this arguement sounds somewhat similar to the Westboro Baptist Church protesting funerals. Maybe not and I'm just tired, but I think you could compare the two issues.
  18. Since this thread still exists: "Drainage! Drainage, Eli, you boy. Drained dry. I'm so sorry. Here, if you have a milkshake, and I have a milkshake, and I have a straw. There it is, that's a straw, you see? You watching?. And my straw reaches acroooooooss the room, and starts to drink your milkshake... I... drink... your... milkshake!" -There Will Be Blood Not a deep or profound quote, but definitely one of my favorite movie quotes.
  19. What we need are stricter drunk driving laws, not strict drinking age laws. I say lower the drinking age to 18 and put a higher penalty on driving drunk. On a side note, I've recently taken an interest into homebrewing although am somewhat limisted by my current living situation.

I greatly detest working out, so I just wander and am now getting into backpacking (daytrips only, so far). I'm also getting into gathering wild edible plants. I found an almost limitless supply of black walnuts today, so I can't wait til those ripen up a bit more.

What state do you live in? Depending on where you live there could be some excellent state schools near you. It can be nice to go to a university near (say within 500 miles) where you live. If you live near or in North Carolina, there are plenty of good options that won't break the bank.
  22. I'm a jack of all trades, master of none.
  23. Hippy! Anywho, what do you mean by the bolded part? Medicinal chemical products make acne better while make-up and some moistrizers can make it worse. Surely you don't mean chemical products in general, right?
  24. That's how it was for me. I had the occasional pimple every now and then, but it just suddenly exploded this year. I am very desperate, so I am trying the thing I thought I wouldn't. A specific diet... I assume you're around 17 years old? At that age, acne won't completely go away no matter what you do. If it's just related to puberty, then it should go away by that time you're 19-21 years old (obviously different for different people). There is heavy duty acne treatment, Accutane, that you could ask a dermatologist about. I didn't do that one though because they have to draw your blood every month or so. The two things that have worked best for me have been washing my face regularly and using prescibed ointments. Unfortunatly though, I think you just have to deal with having acne for awhile. 25. How do you know God is not a civil engineer? Because no civil engineer would run a sewer line under a playground. Only joke I know and I heard it from my physics teacher who is a 62 year old man.
