  1. Oh crap that battle system looks complex...erm, I'll stay neutral.
  2. First of all get off your high horse. Secondly, I think it varies between schools/school districts.
  3. A bit of a mix between the Sicilian culture, with the Roman engineering and passion, and Spanish naval power.
  4. Oh I see. But is there a techology-cap/starting point? In that case, I'll start writing about my upcoming nation. :-P
  5. Hmm...okay I'll live with that map. But does that mean we have 100,000,000 BC techology?
  6. Knowing Italian Video editing Patience
  7. A topographic world map? Couldn't we use a blank one?
  8. Hahaha, that's the first thing I thought after reading the first page.
  9. Agreed, Magic = a big NO NO.
  10. We'll be mostly disregarding that sort of thing. We're going to act like none of these empires actually existed, right? Just the nationalities/cultures. No borders yet. I haven't decided who I want to be yet, but if no one minds (grim?), I'd like to place a claim for part of southeastern China. That would be the Southern Song dynasty in 450 AD, with the people perhaps labeled as Cantonese and Fujianese. Though I kind of think playing as a barbarian tribe would be cool. I was thinking that the Roman Empire just fell (specifically 476 AD) and Europe is up for grabs...the Middle East well, Sassanids could be broken up due to a coup or something, and Asia be divided into cultural regions. We know of a grand civilization of ages past (e.g Roman Empire) , but don't know how they operated...and that's our primary goal: to reach greatness like that long-lost civilization. But I may be talking too much and off-topic by now...

And more. You'll come out with a different view on the world.
  12. If we start in 450 AD, I think there should be a combination of both. Say, if you were part of the Roman Empire, now it fell, you could become independent or historical-dependent. Like Sicily wasn't a independent nation after the Goths took Rome, but in the Hegemony it could. You could also pick the Byzantines instead of Turkey. You could be Visogoths or Eastern Germany; That is, if we pick after the fall of the Roman Empire. 450 AD.

Haha, it was funny when Master Chief said that in Arby n' the Chief.
  17. You guys are starting a new Hegemony? Great, I didn't like the space stuff... I'll try it out again, and I prefer starting somewhere in the 400-500s AD, the beginning of the Dark Ages. Our primary goal is to secure a good kingdom/empire which would be the start of the Medieval era (Just like how Charlemagne did in the 900s.) I claim Sicily. Southern Italy as my second choice.

Exactly; like comedy, it has to make a reference to a previous situation related to the current situation. Like, say, you're in math class and the answer is 9780. Then somebody shouts "It's over 9000!". A previous situation applied to a current situation. Now of course, that's not too original in that everybody says that, but it gets the point across.

Dayum, how long did that took?
  21. I think instead of making a new sub-forum for medium RPG, and have a Light, Medium, and Heavy RPG subforums, just have Forum Games for Light RPG and Falador Tavern/Library for Medium+Heavy RPG. I think that would be best, in my humble opinion.
  22. Doubt it. No, seriously. And guys, you complain about how Hextriplet only trolls, etc. But you are the ones who keep making fun of him and try to put him in a bad light, while doing so you are the trolls, not him. According to your profile, you're only 15 years old. Thanks to my 13 years of age, I have a vast knowledge of the world, but seriously, can't you just move on? Would it be that hard? I would agree with it if its in the end of the marriage, say, after 40 happy years and he's in his elder years. But at the beginning? It'll be tragic, but you would be giving up too soon.

  25. The Disney XD channel, right? Yeah I saw that commerical too. I just think its odd Disney would pick this up. But then again, I hear Nautro is crap now so Disney picking it up isn't really shocking.
