  1. Pray nothing happens. Not from terrorists hijacking, but anything. Gah I hate heights and being on a plane is no exception. :ohnoes: Last time I went on a plane it was for 5 hours when I was like 12 or 11. Just waited and did nothing the entire time; got used to it while being on several road trips.
  2. Absoultly true. I find it depressing when people say RuneScape or whatever MMO is their "little secret". I'm not saying to reveal it out to the world when it doesn't care, but to hide it under a sheet at call costs is ridicilious.(SP) Well if you hang around people who don't play the game but know about it, you will find that they often say things like "That guy plays runescape? Wow. What a total nerd. That game sucks [wagon]." So therefore, if you said you played runescape, it would be reasonable to assume that people would think you're a total nerd. Look I'm not saying to bring up RuneScape in every conversation, but to flat out deny that you don't play because you're scared they're going to call you a nerd is moronic. Besides, if those people are THAT ignorant, then why are you even hanging out with them? Unless you're ignorant yourself on other things... Because that's the way it works. If you don't hang out with the people who call others a nerd, the only people left are the nerds themselves. Not that there is anything wrong with being a nerd. I would just rather have people think highly of me than think I'm a looser. Not true. Many people who aren't nerds don't call other people nerds. You're talking about one type of person and appling it to the entire society. And highly of you? Who? Everyone? If you're trying to impress everyone good luck. Not everyones gonna remember you for your 'highness'. You're only wasting your time...Now if you want to look impressive in front of some/certain people, thats understandable. But it better be the right ones that are worth it. Other than that I have to agree with Derrick on everything he said.

Woke up at 10:30 then played WoW. Then my dad came home from his trucking trip so we had a nice 1-hour long lunch about the upcoming school year. Decided to start on my movie for a contest but fell prey into playing WoW again. Read TIF and made this post.
  4. Well it is called an MMORPG. Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. So it is like the Final Fantasy games. You're a guy but play a girl character (z0mg). Also think about the girl's side of view. 90% of RPGs' playable characters are male. Absoultly true. I find it depressing when people say RuneScape or whatever MMO is their "little secret". 5. Ffs, thats easy: Forest Gump. :geek: I wouldn't be comfortable with sugury neither...amazed by the complexity of the human body...but cutting it up...MINE up... :-#
  6. Hell yeah! They gave me a damn nice schelule for this seimester. Hopefully they don't change it when school starts on the 25th. [hide=]1) US History (Its history! FTW) With some teacher I never heard before. 2) French III (Easy class, great people were in it last year hopefully I get to be with them this year) Teach is very lay-back and friendly. 3) English (English, again, is ftw) Teacher never heard of. 4) Speech and Debate (Didn't picked this but I do like a good debate.) Best part is its with one of the best, reasonable teacher there is. 5) Pre-Calc (Ugh, I hate math.) Seen the teacher before, doesn't seem nice... 6) [Chemistry[/b] (I'm getting sick and tired of these atoms and elements, but its alright.) Unfortunately I got the hardest teacher there is for this subject...[/hide]

  8. Well, I mean, plenty of people who play have a boyfriend/girlfriend. I personally wouldn't want to know if someone I was dating was playing WOW or something though. It just doesn't seem...masculine, if you know what I mean. So basically you rate people on whether they play MMO's? If someone plays an MMO they're not as manly as someone who plays sport or hangs around doing nothing all day? Someone who plays an MMO doesn't only play that MMO in their life, you know... they have other hobbies. I'm going to be blunt and say that post was pretty shallow. Im going to 110% agree, that was a very shallow post (can't find another adjective that described it as well) that was kinda the post we're trying to disprove here.... #-o You couldn't be farther from the point I was saying. I'm not saying the person them selves aren't masculine. I'm not rating or judging them at all, I just would prefer not to know. It'd just be kind of awkward asking what he does in his free time and have an answer shot back "Oh I like to play WOW for a few hours". And what are they supposed to say? "I listen to music and watch TV all day." "I play football with my buddies for 5 hours straight! " Its just a enjoyment. Being 'cool' and listening to music, watching MTV, do sports, (even drugs depending where you live  ) doesn't make someone less or more better than someone else. Besides, what can people do in their freetime? TV, music, games, cook, shipmake? None of them are better than the other. (NOTE: The entire post isn't directed to you, Laura. Like I wouldn't want a girl to say "I go to the gym for 4 hours and lift weights." then shows me her massive guns. :? But your post kinda started a little chain reaction of a post in my head. :geek: ) EDIT: Bean: That is a good point. If someone I knew honestly asked me what I did I'll probably tell them MMOs and moviemaking. But its not the only things I do. ;)
  9. Dude come on. We all know its faster to get to 70 on WoW than to level up everything again on RS. Restricting on one server is pointless. Besides, RuneScape characters are the type where you only have one rather than multiple.
  10. If they do this they have SOLVED the PK problem! \ However I wonder how we can go without getting owned by someone +30 levels higher than me? Maybe the farther away from the cities the more dangerous it gets? (Like old wilderness)
  11. God is not an object, really...its all the good and wonderful things in the world. Someone who has "gone down the dark path" (full of revenege, hate, etc) has lost connection with the light for he is not enjoying himself as he should be. Enjoying ourselves, having fun, is what God gives us. Even the tiniest of enjoyments are gifts of God that we should all cherish. The music you listen to, the nice gentleman who opened a door for you, your hobbies, your friends, your family, everything good and happy. But it is up to you how to manage that fun so it lasts the most possible throughout your entire life. So you don't have 5 years of hardcore entertainment and 25 years of misery and hardwork; but rather 30 years of a balanced life. Work, to enjoy yourselves. Having a house, having food...wheither you notice them or not, they are good and vital to us. And thus, good from God. If I had one song to discribe God, it would be "I Feel Good!".
  12. Apparently you understand neither faith, but I'll tell you what I do know of extremist Islam - the suicide bombers do it in the name of Allah. Their motives might not just be that, but I really doubt they're killing Jews and fellow Muslims for sheer revenge. Radical Islamic leaders are incredibly powerful speakers. They motivate those people in ways I doubt either of us have ever felt. Sure, their motives probably aren't just for Allah and the paradise they're offered - but I'm sure it plays a part. I still don't understand why you brought Christianity into this, but I'll let that rest. After losing everything they had, they look for some hope with revenge in their hearts. I agree that the extremists brainwash these men into doing anything, but it is because their revenge led them to it in the first place. "Killing the men that killed your family" + "Heaven" = "Win/Win situation" in their eyes. Of course I'm not saying all bombers are like this. I'm sure there are some overly religious men left their families to help Allah. It just seemed by your first post you were saying all sucide bombers just suddenly wake up one day and say "I feel like blowing up America! Lets go!"
  13. Well so far I'm just waiting for some voice actors to volunteer and as soon as that happens, I'ma get filming on those shots. I'm hoping today a mate of mine can come over and we could do some lines with pitching our voices a little bit so it'll sound different, rather than have the same two guys sing 6 lines or something. But I dunno, I'll have to wait and see.
  14. I liked the Verrac statue and the Castle. :D
  15. It is called revenge. I'm sure you as a Christian know much about it. And how does my faith have anything to do with revenge? And how come someone of the Islamic faith always and only wants the virgins and the afterlife? They're human beings too and feel hatred, lust, and revenge like Christians do. ...I just wanted an answer. That wasn't one. :| Your faith is against such things as revenge and Christians certainly do feel it. As well as everyone else in the world. Just because someone is not a Christian and does an act of revenge, doesn't mean he's doing it for his god. I'm sure several Christian husbands had their wives cheating on them and the men maybe thought of some sort of revenge. It certainly didn't mean he was going to humiliate/hurt/kill/whatever her in the name of Christ, right? That is just one example but the point still stands: Not everyone does the things they do for their god.

  18. The money is exactly why I didn't want the US to get involved. Our economy is already [cabbage] and now Bush is willing to spend even more money? I personally would have let Russia and Georgia fight it out. I would rather see my own country improve and another fall then to see my own country fall further into debt and another be safe for a while longer. Yes because we all know money > human lives :| And why does it have to be THIS country to lose everything it has to help others? Why can't it be the UK or Germany so we can have some inner-improvements for a change. It is not just 'money' its the economy; making many more jobless and into debt making them basically lose everything. 60M unemployed with families or 250K dead? In a conflict that doesn't concern us?
  19. The warrantless wiretapping is only if you call overseas and the party on the other end of the call is a suspected member of al qaida. There are not warrantless searches. What they do have are called 'sneak and peek' searches. This is where if the get a warrant they can search a suspected terrorists house and not alert them to the fact that they are being investigated which could harm the investigation. I can not think of a single abuse by any of the intelligence agencies. They can't search your house for no reason, they can't arrest you for no reason, and they can't torture you. Are you completly missing the point? The Patriot Act ALLOWS the government to do such things. Besides, its the the phyiscal abuse or acts that worries me, is the idea that such a document was even brought up into question. Much more letting it pass through Congress.
  20. LOL What a change! Lol I spelled Varrock wrong. I remember that Bank Deposit driving me crazy trying to find out what was its purpose behind just depsoiting items.
  21. Eh, that doesn't even sound like the RS theme at all. But yeah, I find it funny how you can hold 500,000 cannonballs but only 28 eggs. \
  22. Well of course they don't. That's why they have to rob it out of the treasury. All these school-safety rules are bluntly put, stupid. We go to school to learn not be protected. A school does not mean a 'safe house', it means a house of learning; of education. What's even harlious is that the common American hates the ideas of socialism adn tyranny. Well news-flash! These schools are doing just that.
  23. Because she's a man. Modeling is a profession based entirely on aesthetics. If the clothes look good on her/him then that's all the designers need. No, modeling is about (biological) shallow women that look good. Male modeling is morally wrong, women aren't even attracted to male models. LOL are you quite that stupid or just blind? Where do you think the designers put those suits and tuxes you wear? On a man of course. Women don't like male models? I can't stop the laughter in my head. Put a nice, muscular man on stage and women would like it. Really, its a modeling job for god's sake. The model can be man or woman as long as its what the designers' needs.
  24. The right of marriage? I settle my case.
  25. Whoa, I really like this one.
