  1. I'll try to get a job and get something to live in. My teacher once told us a story that when he used to work in Home Depot one of his work mates was homeless and lived in his car. Apparently he showered in truck stops and had enough money to buy some non-cookable food. But if I lost everything (friends, family, love, etc.)...then screw it I'm becoming an outlaw. I'll rob Wal Marts and places where 50 bucks isn't going to hurt them. Never a small/local business though, just big corporations.
  2. What would you call elementary school children? Getting girlfriends but never giving them attention or play marrage. Children think its love when they have some sort of like to someone; kinda like a first crush. "OMG I'm so in looooove!" Then when he gets rejected, "OMG I'm never falling in love again." They'll (hopefully) grow out of it. What also makes the matter worse is that kids are doing older things younger. Its cool to have a girlfriend, and some go too far. Others, just want to be cool and get a girlfriend. In a game. They'll (hopefully) grow out of it. But unfortunately until then we're going to suffer with thier spam. #-o
  3. I think that would be more limited to the people that stand around spamming for a boyfriend/girlfriend. I can't see a creepy old guy befriending someone and gaining their trust over the course of years just for some online...um...you know. But, I could be wrong. In fact, I bet I am. But I just can't see them hanging around for that long when they could just go stand around and hope for someone more gullible or greedy. Now I feel like I'm the creep for thinking that way. I don't like that. #-o That said...like lots of others, I think it's okay if the people are a couple in real life, or if the relationship grows out of a friendship over time and all that. Probably because that's how it happened with me. Not on Runescape, mind you, on a forum. But that's not on topic...I don't think anything of couples on the game, unless they go extremely overboard with the lovey pet names and all that in the public chat, or unless it's a person that keeps asking everyone they meet for a date. What I'm talking about is people who get RuneScape boyfriends and girlfriends and not previously knowing them. I can understand if they're dating in real life... This is the second part: Two friends have feelings for each other so they decide to talk on the phone or set up a WebCam sesion. As soon as it doesn't sound or look like someone your age, then click the red X.
  4. Why do people just post and not read the thread. :wall:
  5. Its quite obvious what the outside world is, and why that expression is used. Many gamers get carried away with their gaming habits, and lose sight of perspective. And in that loss of perspective, buying a book about their favourite mmorpgs actually sounds like a good idea. People would be ready to buy posters, t-shirts, teddy bears, and all sorts of ridiculous merchandise if they could. Talking seriously about buying a mmorpg book, from an author that has never published before, and an obvious stunt from Jagex to make more money, is an obvious sign of losing that perspective. Thus the nerdiness. Not that I'm explaining that for you, heh. Childish? Coming from someone using vulgar expressions like grow hair on your balls, heh, well idiots do often come as hypocrites as well, that's no surprise. You're assuming everyone who is going to buy the book has no life. Its a bloody book for god's sake. About a game. I can say the same thing about those people who buy shirts of their favourate band for ridiculous amount of cash. I can also say the same thing about social-full people who buy a 500 dollar phone just to be 'in'. I can also say the same thing about video gamers; buying a new 360 and Halo 3 Legendary edition for a lot of money. I can also say the samething about the o-so-ever-mighty players that EVERYONE apparently needs to meet thier expectations, getting laid so many times getting the risk of STDs, loss of intelligence (can't study, thats nerdy!), and breaking other people's hearts. Ooh, this is a little plus: I'M NOT BUYING THE BOOK! Its far too much money and a bit unknown on how good it is, but do you see me flaming the people who want to buy a book? One final question: Why do you want everyone to be as 'cool' and 'social' and 'sexy' as (maybe) you? You're going to get lots of competition with the limited number of girls aren't you? Might as well go on with your life, get laid do whatever, have the time of your life while we just grind in MMOs not taking your women, and be happy? Why can't you idiots comprend this simple, yet unknown, fact? I'm confused. First of all because my post wasn't even directed towards you, and second of all, How do I not have a brain or balls For saying it's hard to read a book? Too hard to comprehend for you idiot? And what part of ANYTHING I said had to do with paris hilton? Seriously get a life, if you're going to try to insult someone, do it right. Nick failed big time. His sarcasm detector is in the shop. And he somehow thinks that anyone who dislikes reading or thinks it is a waste of time is somehow missing out on this huge enlightening experience. He probably just read those first few words and then stopped and immediately replied. Funny that such a fan of reading could pathetically fail so hard at it. I know his type, just another one of those jerk-offs who always insists "Oh my good chap the book really was MUCH better than the movie!" Only because it is a book. Liking books has nothing to do with growing hair on your balls, in fact I would think its quite the opposite. I failed? Its not people who dislike reading I hate, its those ego-ful folks who think reading is nerdy and unacceptable. The ironic thing is they're reading this forum right now for god's sake. And I read the whole post and it was pretty stupid anti-nerd stuff and the first sentence really got my biggest attention. Regardless though, I think I see a failure in your part. Apparently I'm not one of those jerk-offs who always insist "Oh my good chap the book really was MUCH better than the movie." I personally, don't like reading books. Never have probably never will. But I know reading books shouldn't be the a degrading sin. I really do prefer plays and movies over traditional books though. And also, using the posters' own logic against him, its really ironic that reading books is such a waste of time yet the person plays/played RuneScape at sometime in his life. I mean, he's missing sex time! I do apologize for those blunt insults last night, it was really immature of me...but really. Sometimes idiots go too far and think they're the best in this forum when, truthfully, a sex-goer is no better than a nerd.
  6. Ironically, the people saying "They fail at dating irl" etc, etc, are the ones encouraging this stuff. Its social acceptance to have multiple girl/boyfriends throughout your life so these kids try, in RuneScape, then get flamed by the original people themselves. Not that its bad though. Most of the noobs asking for girlfriends are really stupid and immature. Let them do what they want. However, RuneScape still provides the connection needed between two people. While most other couples meet through work, school, bar, etc, some folks meet through online games. And by all means its acceptable. Don't get confused now over-reacting nubs out there; these people do not ask for GF PLZ in Lumbridge. They go on their RuneScape adventure, meet someone add them on their friends list then it goes on from there. They might become really good friends and do stuff outside the game like IMing, Webcams, e-mail, letters, etc. They might grow to like each other from that point.
  7. I THOUGH IT WAS HIS LAST NAME... Learn to read! ROFL, I missed it the first time but got it the second. Tricky wording ftl :-# But yeah, Zezima is his irl last name.

Last night I had my second dream about the first day of school. Call me weird, but I want school to start again. But last night's dream was great. It mashed together my good friends, a girl I like, funny comedy, and an epic-made up school all in one...In the end, I was about to start a 2-man group project with the girl when the bloody alarm clock went off. ARGH. :wall: The stupid part is that I put the alarm for 6:15 so I can get some time to shower and play games, when I usually woke up at 10... 4 more hours of that great, epic dream...gone.... At least I wrote down what happened though: 3 pages. :o It would make a good movie if ajusted right in my opinion lol.
  9. I have to agree. Who thought Up was down and down was up? All this crack spreading around, Jesus christ....its awful. #-o
  10. Ha! I got one finally. \
  11. An unlimited amount of cash? Easy. Buy out Hollywood and remove the power from those corperate producers and give it to the directors, writers, etc. Then sustain a normal house and buy some nice things as time goes on. Create films since I bloody own the industry, and never have to worry about anything else again. \
  12. I have three: -Age of Empires II -World of Warcraft -Star Wars Battlefront
  13. Heh, the human race are greedy bastards so they'll be alive for ever. Evolution or not, things creatures that desend from humans would still exist throughout the universe in our little colonies and such. Although in the next 300 years we could get killed by metors or such, but that's not very likely.
  14. When some arsehat of a person says "Sad" when you pile on them, use prayer, or heal when fighting in C-Wars. I mean, Jesus...if you're a pure then I'm sorry for you not having prayer. :wall:
  15. Eh, it'll be like a whole new game without Java. Or at least to the coding nerds. :geek: -how would you react? *facepalm* -where would it fit? (console or handheld) I'll rather it be handheld. -would you buy it? NO.
  16. Meh, I was going to post something different but I think Paw Claw covered more than I could...
  17. How is it going to get in the way of +13 players? Don't put it on lol. And you can't say with Parental Controls RS is getting kiddier. World of Warcraft has Parental Control and I'm sure no one calls that game a kid's game. Although I am disapointed with Jagex...they're making a bunch of kid's safety updates: parental controls and now this limited chat feautre? Get back to the quests and skills lol. \
  18. Oh you're tough smartass. It doesn't affect just car users. For example, my dad is an independent truck driver. The truck is his but hauls other companies' stuff. Because its his, he has to pay for disel and repairs. The increasing price of gas makes his profit less. And it doesn't stop there: the companies getting the shipment have to pay more to the trucking companies to transport their goods thus making the receiving company's goods more expesive. If that didn't made sense: Truck Company pays more for gas, increases transport cost. The commerical company has to pay the increased transport cost and to make up for it increases the cost of their own goods. So stuff in Target, or groceries cost more. So its not just cars that get affected. Everything tranported by a plane, boat, or truck (basically EVERYTHING) gets an increase of price.
  19. I'd rather be disappointed with Obama than a guarenteed 4 more years of the same [cabbage] as Bush. Just to let you in on a little secret here: Being in the same party doesn't mean you think the same way or have the same ideas, or talk the same way. Regardless, if they're in the same party they must have similar ideas no? McCain wants to continue the war; thats a big NO in my book.

Its the worse subsitute for democracy there would ever be. Its crap man! *plugs nose* Canidate A can have 5000 less votes than Canidate B and still win. Wheres the democracy in that? If you really wanted to make it fair, do one man one vote.
  21. I wouldn't suggest doing the weather the exact same as the real world. I want to be in another world when I play games, not the same just with magic and 700 years ago. Maybe make an entire RuneScape year one or two months, with 1 or 2 week season intervals. This can also apply with night and day, making 3 hours each or so. The season and time would be seperate for each sever encouraging homeworlds.

Dont hit him either cos thats just plain mean unless were talking cars, PS3's, etc. getting stolen. Plain mean? The scumbag is trying to rob me for gods sake. Besides, if the guy doesn't have a gun I won't shoot at him just scare the $%#& outta him. Only shoot if you're being assualted.
  23. Giordano replied to zdavenz's topic in Off-Topic
Even then, having a gun is useless. Why not just have something like a bat or some other melee weapon to use? None lethal, and you can still protect yourself, while having protection if you get close. In most cases you can escape with your life by simply giving a robber what they want. And why wouldn't you? What kind of person would value their possessions so much that they rather attempt to stop the robber and loose their own life rather then living another day and maybe loosing out on some money? Well with a melee weapon the guy can step back 8-10 feet and he'll see any charges at him. Personally, I wouldn't want the robber to leave neither. The cops will take weeks to find the guy, if they do. And I don't know about you, but I am pretty sure I'm worth more than the scumbag who is trying to rob me. I'll shoot to get my stuff, and help society to imprision this low life. (Not kill, since the Feds will be anal about it later).
  24. Giordano replied to zdavenz's topic in Off-Topic
Wait a minute...are you guys talking about taking guns outside? Taking them where ever you go? Because if thats the case, its quite foolish to do so. You're only looking for trouble. Keeping a gun in your house or under your shops' counter is the thing I'm talking about. Most likely that place of wealth is going to be assaulted than yourself outside.
  25. Nah, not RS...just laziness. Like during the summer when I know I'm doing nothing all day (Not going out, just indoors) I don't bother to do anything about myself...the only phyiscal human contact I get is my mother during meals...other than that, I just stay in my room doing stuffs. Like today for example! \
