  1. I don't like writing books, I'm a Scriptwright at heart. =D (Which is sorta like a Playwright.) So far, I didn't write anything too long or fancy, but I plan to do one of my stories soon.
  2. I'm just grateful we still have the forums. :D Hopefully the staff will update the new skins and etc soon and the blogs/guides/large threads be remade (I believe you could use Google Cache or something like that to get some of them back, right?). After all that we'll be back to normal. :D
  3. HAHAHA, you wouldn't believe how funny it looked on the forum page. a calm, relaxed analysis on the newest update. 3 views By: l0l0lpur3  Harlious.
  4. Proud to say Cal! :D Pasta Cheif - California
  5. If the internet would of never existed, right now I would probably be a ignorant-teenager with no care for anyone else. Thank god for the interweb!!!
  6. If you have absolutly NO idea which multiple-choice answer is the correct one, pick C. It's always C. 8-)
  7. yes i know there are some restrictions, but if i wore a shirt with a cross to school nobody would give it a second look, but if i wore one with a Nazi symbol (and was an actual follower of that, and was not a supremesist but just being proud of my race) i would be surrouned by teachers in like 15 seconds, its a totally biased system Well think about it, does a swastika represent quite the same thing as a cross? Horrible things were done under that symbol. Now, I'm not saying that horrible things happened in relation to a cross, but I personally think a swastika is alot worse. -.- Yeah, actually it does, it was used in countless religions and cultures before Hitler started using it himself, and I believe its still used in some religions today, just because it was used by the Nazis doesn't mean its evil. With orgins from Buddism. Funny part too is, the Nazi swastika is actually a flipped version of the real one, and the school bastards couldn't probably tell the difference. #-o
  8. Dude, you don't make any sense. Haha, a Christian new-comer to debate. : The idea is understandable but he can't make sense. :P Je suis desole... You're forgiven if you let this thread die. If not, then Silence! Je kill you!

Intresting this thread was created today, I was about to start on my no-lifing of schoolwork... Finals are next week, and I need to study a lot (English, French, and worst of all, 6 chapters of Algebra) and do a video project for English and memorize a script for French. All during tomorrow and the weekend. Come Monday I should be a master of those subjects and review a tad bit, then final exams the next day. Pray this raises my grade a lot.
  10. Since when do the schools have the bloody power to do this? It's not school-related nor in the campus, so its not the school's problem its the governments. Why the mother told the school instead of the police is beyond me, if the kids got fined/jailed due to underage drinking then yeah its alright. But suspending from school? Wrong punishment-giver.
  11. The things I regret brought me to come how I view the world, so no, I would not like for them to never happen.
  12. A bit exitied aren't we? :P Updates usally occur on Mondays and Tuesday, but Constuction was released on a Wednesday (one day after the usual) so they might do that this time. :P
  13. I can see other skills needing some updates before Construction: Mining, Farming, Hunter (probably improve once Summoning comes out) and the combat skills. As other have said, Construction has too many things.
  14. demand is not effected, only supply its not a hard prediction, supply goes down, demand remains unchanged, prices go up. While demands stays the same and supply goes down, the demand is still higher than the supply and thats kinda what I mean when I say demand increased. 50,000 Runecrafters want autoed ess, when the supply of ess goes down the Runecrafter's numbers still stay at 50,000 but they want more ess so in a way, the demand goes up. I probably can't explain it too good, but we're kinda in the same pace as each other. the addition of these factors does not change the fact that prices will raise due to decreased supply, they will however effect it independently. the magnitude of the shifts will decide if the price lowers. opening up the GE allowed thousands of players who would normally not bother with selling items to quickly sell without effort, increasing supply of these hard to sell items. this caused the short term effect to be a drastic price drop (items from autoers were still in the game, and more people were selling), however these autoed items will not last forever, and the initial surge of sellers will dry up causing an increase in prices over time. And thats what I'm trying to say. We might be seeing prices increase, but until how high? Will it break previous prices? Will people rely on gathering raw goods instead of alching or producing? Unless they have an army of a million autoers, they won't really affect the economy. Plus, their mains want the cash not lvl 3s, so they'll macro their main; which will be easily reported for a lvl 100 not responding and doing the exact movements over and over by the others. Waste of an account, and a waste of time. What's your point? I was explaining the new age because before we used to buy in mass, produce in mass, and sell in mass. With the mass possibly gone, we gain a lot less exp which is one of the points of the game. Rare weapons and armours (Barrows, dragon, Godsword) stay the same because they were never autoed I agree, but what about the food they use? Their prayer potions for Barrows, sharks for God dungeon? RuneScape 2.5 is going to change that in some way, perhaps not as big as I think but still a change noneoftheless.[/hide]
  15. There are two types of people when exploring something new: those who experiment and those who want the flat out explanation. RuneScape was always simple to understand if you tried figuring it out. If you were in doubt, you could ask a nearby player, but its not that complicated. Take me for example; when I started playing this game I didn't have someone at my side to explain things to me (the friend who introduced me to it was a total noob himself :P ) So I figured out things through trail and error and experimenting. I attacked a highway man, to watch how fast I was losing HP and the attacks I was hitting, so in the future I can see if something of my level or higher would hurt me badly. I learned going through Stonehedge is NOT a good idea via death. If Jagex didn't forced me to go through the GE Tutorial, I would of experimented with it and figured it out in 5 minutes, perhaps less. Jagex seems to help those who do not try, who want a straight answer with no background information whatsoever. Don't mistake me though, I agree there should be tutorials and helpers, but not when you're forced to go through them. (GE, Tut. Island)
  16. I do suppose you're talking about those people who say "need hot gf p10x" (which is funny, all RuneScapian females look the same)? If so, this... ...is true.
  17. Sorry, I had just written a couple of long posts on the same issue in another thread and didn't feel like repeating myself. Simply put, the autoers left in early December. The price of ess already rose from that, then dropped, and now has taken off again. And the reason for this latest surge is probably a bit of the autoers being gone but there are many other reasons, some of which are more important. Here's what I wrote before: Note that saying something is going up in price due to "fear of change" is kinda silly; people tend to *sell* when scared, not buy. Those are some good reasons, especially the last one (not in quotes). I tend not to stick with the 'autoer-reason', but failed to do so in my post. My apologies.
  18. If there always was autoers, then please ignore that part of my post. Its still a new age, that it's closest comparsion is RSC but still very far off. I was just saying the new era's economy, Stakedog, with all the other things of course (Bounty Hunter, Unbalanced trades) but thought I would be too repitive of the other threads if I posted that in my thread. It still applies though. While it might not be the phyiscal leave of the autoers Qeltar, it can be the fear of change as N0fx said, with connects to the exit of autoers. If I'm wrong, then please give me some facts and reason, not simple 1-liners. I'm just trying to say, for the first time in a long time RuneScape has much less autoers, close to none and that we are playing a different game and thus the economy will change greatly: not into a Buy this high, sell its product low of type.
  19. Then what exactly makes those people geeks/nerds? It means that being a geek/nerd doesn't go hand in hand with 'social outcast'. Or maybe (and what I implied in my previous post) it could mean that people don't fit the stereotypes perfectly. Nerds/geek and social outcasts do go hand in hand, why do you think the most common insult is "get a (social) life"? People nowadays are ignorant, and do not use the correct words in thier sentences. Such as "Oh my god your sniper is soooo gay!" with translates to "Oh my god your sniper is soooo homosexual!" or "...sooo happy!" ??? Made no sense. Same with nerd: a nerd is a person who is smart and likes being smart. (with some other things such as lover of sci-fi and RPGs, etcetc) But never a social outcast. In theory, nerds are friends with nerds right? Then they already have a life: different from the person saying it, but a life noneoftheless. And someone who has friends is not an social outcast. But this "Get a life." 'insult', if you would call it that, is just a way to say "Your life is not like mine, therefore you are lower than me." Because nowadays everyone must have a girl/boyfriend, not be a virgin, and listen to either rock or rap and have 50+ friends on MySpace...am I right?
  20. After reading this thread about the price of pure ess, I knew the new era of RuneScape began: an era only closely compairable to RSC, in the days before autoers. In Janurary 2nd Jagex has abolished unbalanced trades, we should all know that. Since then, the millions of goods in the economy were decreasing due to the absence of autoers. Players can only get so much (someone can't mine 50K ess in a week) and that brings the supply down and demand up, increasing prices. The funny part is though, we've been predicting how the economy would work without autoers ever since they became in existance. Now is the time to see and experiment what will happen, and making matters worse (or better for some) is the Grand Exchange. The time we are heading into can only be remotely compaired to pre-autoer days in RSC, but with a lot more factors: GE, hundreds of new items, more players, less PvP, more demand, bigger marketplace, and the thought that autoers will not collect anything for you. Now this affects every single one of us. I'll use the Price of Pure Ess thread as my first example: pure ess is increasing in price, and disrupting Runecrafter's humble income of roughly 200gp per rune. This doesn't just affect Runecrafters and mages, but also fletchers with the increasing price of Woodcutting, smithers and crafters with the price of ores and hides, herbalists with supplies, and warriors with the price of food, potions, and armour due to the loss of monster hunting. Its time to found a new RuneScape, into the unknown. Predictions can't always be right, especially in this age. This era has never happened before in RuneScape history, and even if we may take examples of pre-autoer days, we have a lot more factors now. "Blah blah, whats your point Nick?" We've been predicting how the economy would work without autoers ever since they became in existance, now is the time to experience it.
  21. And alas the time has come....we always predicted how the economy would work with autoers, now we have to face it head on. Lets see how we do it... The loss of autoers is the primary reason for this naturally. The basic laws of Supply+Demand are in play here and without the autoers getting the supplies, the price goes up. Although this leaves an oppotunity for prices to decrease; as various people said before me, less-experienced, new players will mine ess and gather goods from the 'Trade skills'. We never had to do this on a massive scale since the days of RSC, so this should be intresting to watch... And the merchant idea isn't so bad neither, but they're risking a lot since if a lot of people mine ess too suddenly the prices will fall to quickly and poof, there goes their profits.
  22. Any new game seem endless, because its new. I remember getting Jak 2 and flying around in those cars exploring the grand city...now I know where everywhere is and shooting at guards isn't much fun anymore since I know thier weaknesses, where to hide, how to do it, etc...same thing with RuneScape, WoW, any video game.
  23. On average 4-5, once I ate 8.
  24. Well if Megan just obeys Principal Nazi then yeah, why should we care?
