  1. If I remember correctly: You broke up She came back You broke up again She's sorry? People sometimes are so stupid I swear. You know what to do, right Sam?
  2. Well that's absolutely terrible. Once the secret is known to the cure of cancer, it will be produced en masse. It's not like medicine take a lot of resources to make neither; it's just the demand that makes them so costly. The issue on overpopulation is that it isn't a physical problem or even an resource supply problem, it's an efficency issue. If all farms in the world were as productive as Western farms and with even moderate infranstructure connecting it, world hunger will cease. But many farms still use manual work, yielding a very low amount. After that, it cannnot be stored and transported properly to markets - not to mention in poverished areas the consumers would have no money to buy it with. Do we hear about overpopulation issues in America or Europe? Hardly. Why? Because we have enough resources to fulfill us. We hear about overpopulation issues in China, India, and Africa, where most of the lower class is made up of literally peasants who use feet as their primary veichle of transportation on dirt roads to earn a couple of cents. Overpopulation is an efficiency issue, not a resources. We won't be wasting any more resources on cancer cures in Europe, because Africa won't be getting any of it anyway. Also cancer is really a painful disease and I don't think you understand how painful it can be. My only personal experience I have with cancer is with my beloved pet dog, who had lymphatic cancer. He turned to be an energic dog quickly down to a sickly being who always laid down all day: he couldn't move much, he didn't eat anything, and would cry in pain at sudden movements. I can't imagine stomach cancer, skin cancer, or brain cancer being better off for anybody, animals or humans. The only blessing my dog received was he only endured this about two weeks before he died. Some people have cancer for months in this state. Cancer is not a 'drop-dead the moment you get it' disease. It is one of the most disgusting acts of irony played out by nature. The common man does not need to be sacrificed to save resources; if anybody can solve the issue it is corporate entrepreneurs and politicians, not disease and disasters. EDIT: My first post was a Jew joke, I'm sorry.
  3. Israel made it? It's gonna cost millions of dollars even at supply-demand equilibrium.
  4. There's still going to be CDs so you can just burn the music on 'em. But if you like album art/'legit' physical then you're screwed.
  5. Nick_6464  (My first username for you 'newbies') But yeah I also prefer numberless names, but I'm not judging you on that.
  6. PC. When people make mods for it...you'll be sorry for going Xbox.

    Abortions, condoms, pills...same thing really.
  11. This, so very much.
  12. Holy crap! http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/11/09/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-has-infinite-quests-says-howard/ Infinite dragons, infinite quests. I wish I could buy this come 11.11.
  13. But then you only got one life, and if you just 'buy what you need' you'll be pretty bored I can safely assume. Only if you've been raised in a consumerist culture that preaches you need to fulfill all your wants to be happy. Ok. You save for your entire life. Then what? Give it to your grandchildren when you pass away? What the hell are you going to do with all that money after you obtain a house and food? That's all you "need to live" am I right? I'm not seeing your point here, truth be told. Or donate it to the majority of the world's population who can't even afford the things they need to survive. But we digress - I was replying to your original point about how the desires for luxury goods would make it difficult to afford children. I suppose you can donate it, but that brings up a different issue I had no idea we were talking about. The children comment was half-joke, half-serious. Children are not cheap and not only in their physical luxuries but medical upkeeps if they have a problem and general welfare for them. It's hard for a single-income family to maintain balance between essentials, savings, and luxuries. So then I joked, saying that if you want a lot more money for luxuries, don't have kids.

  16. Whoops, forgot a comma and 'everyone'. But still, I personally wouldn't save up for a house, I'll rather use that money to a vacation or a nice big screen TV or something. Of course never overextending current funds. I think you thought I meant people have to buy things to go into debt, but I just mean people's natural desire to have luxuries makes them save less.
  17. What Godess has is two sources of income, where one covers their monthly expenses and the other is saved. That's at least a 50% (roughly) saving rate, which is an incredible amount to begin with. But with the divorce rates and lawyer costs to run those cases, I can definately see why people can't have enough money to save up. Plus add multiple kids, with everyone's desires of luxory products, you can see why Godess' family of three can save a lot where as a family of five might not be. But honestly, you single people want to save money? Don't have kids.
  18. May I ask what the storyline was? Hidden in spoilers, of course.
  19. Let there be darkness for improved lightning in dungeons, adventurer's torchs for dropable lit torches, Qarl's texture pack 3 for improved textures, OBGEv3 for post effects, deadly reflex for improved combat. Probably missing some more, but I'd say those are the fundamental mods. You're forgetting the Unoffical Oblivion Patch - fixes alot of bugs.
  20. It has its uses in medium+long range combat, plus the ability to heal yourself with Mad Milk, but it uses too much of a different strategy than Scatter/FaN layouts plus the gun was nerfed to the point that, in my opinion, isn't worthwhile. If you really like the triple jump, may I recommend the atomic bat? Gives you the ability to triple jump at the expense of 10 health. It's a useful tool for triple jumpers like you. I tried it but I've already gotten used back to double-jumping.
  21. FaN is perfect for close quarters, small engagements - like the last stage of Thunder mountain in the tunnels or the last area of Mann Manor. But scattergun is a good all_rounder so I use that the most; and I have used and been good with all three.
  22. I didn't know your fiance's money is going to hold you up while you save all of yours; as I said, there may be other advantages I am not aware of. But, yeah good for you.

I feel so sorry for you.
  24. Even at that, it isn't uncommon at all. That is like, freshman/sophomore year? I don't really think that kids should be having sex at an age that young, but society is different now. Yep. That was his opinion as well, but he went on about it the wrong way stating he was a virgin and teenage sex is disgusting. How or why, no one knows, but it's disgusting.
  25. So after reading that i decide to see why they're so bad. First thread I read is a supposed 21 year old complaining about girls being [bleep]s because they have abre shoulders and that two girls in a classroom had already ahd sex. These girls were 17-18. :wall: I proceeded to close that tab out, and I really hope I never have occasion to visit that section again. Yup. People on there are so immature in the fact that they can't get over small things, then they claim they're mature at age 15. And that's about 95% of the threads there. As if sex at the age of 17 was uncommon? Those people who make such a big deal out of sex annoy me. random duche - "Dude, I totally [bleep]ed some girl I met at a party last night." me - "Cool story bro? I hope she didn't have AIDS lolololol." Actually the kids he was talking about were like 14-15, but he (the 21 year old virgin) said people should start having sex at 20-25 (his age)
