Question: How does jagex fix the problem without putting rs offline for 30seconds? How do they update it live? I didn't know this possible, and if jagex did do this, isn't it risky if a major bug comes?

Yes, although it took a month or so for players to realize the exact potential of this, the players who took the most hit were pkers. I nearly cried when I fought the first pc product I encountered...23s at in f2p at 45cb? Mini-Games are suppose to be mini, not so largely used like pc was. So used Pc Clans were made. Jagex made a good decision.

It's only (level)x15=(total Exp)? Thats heart breaking.

I hope people don't spam this with one sentence posts with a negative comment without reason. I can see high alch materials rise even higher now. Also herblore will become extremely fast now if my theory is correct. Hopefully Jagex isn't overcome by the rants. There's currently a riot in w99 fally. People are angry because they won't be able to get free exp, and they'll have to work. I hope this all leads to jagex creating larger area's, with more monsters then usual in this area, also with 10 servers more. =)

You know, I've been playing runescape for 4 years, and every day after school, I'd play rs, I would play non-stop in the summer, I kept my 90%s in school, I am under-weight by like 30 lbs, I have good posture, I'm always told how I am a happy child, yet runescape is 2/3s of my life. Some of these stories of dropping grades, weight gain, and all that seem to me like bull crap. I hardly even believed this article. C'mon, turn off the internet, put a pass on the comp, I'm sure after 3 days of violence the darn kid would stop being violent, content with himself, be stuck up for about a week, then he'd start to change back. Honestly, the parents need to go and get help themselves.

I don't think calling the forum question topics would be a good name. lol. I do think though that this topic holds the answer.

I like how striker thinks, but it wouldn't work, because of what he had previously said about confusion. I like this idea, and it should be done in a way that allows the users to know what topic goes in which forum, or it'll turn into both forums getting both types of topics. I think we should get devoted to make a sticky that outlines with detail what topic goes where, if this were to be done. Even if devoted didn't do the sticky, I'd expect one still to be made, plus another, or more ways to get the confusion down, which I don't know would be.

Well, to get everyone excited: The Last edited part is in the signature. This happens in random posts/topics/boards. This in some cases, could lead to users thinking the signature is part of the content posted...and well spam will live on that. I don't know if this is from the 'new ads', 'infecting' the words in our posts. An error or incorrect line of script/code. If this is about the ads...I'm sorry for posting a topic about it, already adding to those other ones... I searched first and second page of this board...found nothing on this. =/

Maybe implement this choice more often? I do agree, TETAU is for aussies, and not to satisfy UK times...

For 6-8 days I wasn't on the internet at all, except for posting on a topic in here, and another, but I didn't screen the forums I usually do. I screened the forums, and as many have pointed out, its a lot worse, probably 10x as worse as I last saw it. I was contempt with 2 or 3 posts being infected with one ad word link pop-up thing...but I'm finding sometimes up to 20-30 words are infected. This is way too much, and either scale down the amount of words being infected, or take it away. Gl.

I read 6 or 8 times. There's nothing in the content I can complain, I mean constructively suggest about. But, I'm still curious on one thing. This will be one stickied topic in multiple forums, or a global sticky? If global sticky, I think you should note to use cntrl+F to find the correct content the user is looking for. I like the idea of PMing it, although new user's I'd presume only 10% or less would actually read and take into consideration. My idea, if possible, would be to re-direct the user after the agreement screen, to another page where this document is. No links. The page would re-direct to another page after say 10 minutes-average reading time to read the sticky document.

A better idea would be to designate certain times to spend on updating it. Perhaps, spend 2 hours every third day on updating it. Only two hours, and only every third day, and different admins/mods updating it. To find the price of that item, RSOF. You don't need to spend every day updating it. If someone glances at the sticky, then posts to change it, and possibly if mods are more inclined to looking at the price guide, perhaps it would be changed and updated. Make time slots, put mods in those time slots(of course I mean taking away their free will), for one hour to however long needed...every third day. ^^

Finally. : It's a well thought out plan, which I've stated previously would be a great in-put. When I have more time on the computer, I'll give out some pointers, if they're not given out already. Good job, been looking forward to read that.

Its not choosing what items you keep when you die mate, it clarifies what item's you lose or keep. I just hope that it takes 10 lvl 120s to kill the dragon 5 times at the max. ^^ I think we're getting better updates? :
