RS - training skills all day?
I'd rather train 90% of the time, then spend most of my time 'chilling,'. I'm playing Runescape so I can have fun. To me fun is skilling, & mini-games, and sometimes questing. Friends only fit in for clans, or when I need to use their stats and vise-versa. Sure, I do have those really good friends, I've even talked to them on through a VoIP program once or twice while I scaped. To me thats better than 'chilling' in-game. Heck even IRC rooms is better than just chilling, which is why the CC is so popular. I don't need to be near you in-game to have a 'chilling' time. I can be in Varrock and you can be in Yanille, and we can still 'chill' with each other through all these third-party or 1st party programs.

Forum Server Move
Glad to be able to post normally again. Excellent job on continuing the support of the forums though. Though I don't know if this is relevant or not, but the 'Font Colour' thing at the side of posts is now smaller instead of larger. So good job to whoever did that. :)

Canadian Election Thread!
Not old enough to vote but Jack Layton for sure. The work less party is pretty much even worse than the marijuana party. >.>

Where is the money coming from?
Created out of thin air. Money goes into the GE and never comes back out.

Off topic Hot Topic
So wouldn't the goal of the forum administration to get these people to care, so they do come into the forums? Wouldn't somehow advertising Off-Topic or areas of the forum that aren't Runescape related (Currently there's only Runescape related announcements regarding the forums on the main site) on the main site or at least give it a try? Those people that don't care, why do they not care? Perhaps they don't know that there is an Off-Topic, or a Gallery on here, as all that is advertised on the larger area is the Runescape 'events' or 'activities', nothing else is. So while General is by far the most active forum, you have others not getting that attention that General is. I know General or other Runescape related boards should give a lot more attention or advertisement than non-runescape related forums but right now OT and others aren't even getting a slice of the cake. Heck once in the 30-40 times (or more) that the main page is updated each month could include something to bring the Non-Runescaped related areas to the light. But anyways, best course of action would be to have a poll, and have it ask, why people don't use the forums, I'm sure someone could come up with statements like 'I Didn't Know There Was A Forum,' 'They Are Too Runescape Based,' 'They Aren't Appealing (Don't know how to make it seem more specific...),' 'Forums Don't Interest Me,' 'They Are A Waste Of Time,' 'I Use Another Forum,'...might be going off-topic here but I think this is the right way to go, just look at this poll: http://tip.it/runescape/?poll_id=31 5081. Would really be interesting to know why they don't use the forums. Also I didn't think you were angry or bashing, sorry if my response gave that impression.

Off topic Hot Topic
And let's apply those to General, and Off-Topic looks like a god, doesn't it? Also Dsavi, if you aren't wanting spammers or immature posters in OT, or 'bland' posters in OT, you aren't going to get any new members in there, or you can get that odd 3-4 new OT regulars that might spring up every other week or two. @Pyromancer: It may be a Runescape forum, but rejecting new ideas because they aren't Runescape related isn't going to help grow and even 'nurture' the forums for far better or far worse communities/discussions/users. This is a good update for Off-Topic, something probably needed as well for it. It would bring in new users to the forum, keep some of the regulars interested just a bit more (even I have gone through almost every topic in there and am awaiting something 'new' to come). I'm probably not the only one who feels this way, but Off-Topic does kind of move slowly once you've caught up with it. This suggestion would even give an incentive to post new topics. Now that alone should be a good enough reason. But still, this may be a Runescape board, but there's still users around here and probably even some staff who aren't playing Runescape. There are entire communities, friendships, or bonds on this forum that do not relate to Runescape at all. Now, ask yourself by RSC is so much larger? They have events & have kept these non-runescapers occupied in their forums, or discussion areas. They haven't kept improving their Runescape area to the limit like Tip.It has (Tip.It probably has the best Events Team and other information/activities compared to other sites), but things like that OTET, or the total loss of having no clan related events at all (Look at Pure Community, they have a PCL, they have clans there, but are smaller than Tip.It is and less known, put two and two together), even having 1 or 2 'events' or 'activities' within each major forum (OT, Gallery, CD...etc) if that, isn't enough for these different communities to thrive or grow. Perhaps there isn't enough numbers or users in each of these forums, put events in, and keep them for a year, and you'll have increased numbers, probably won't be drastic, but it's a long-term plan. It's exactly what RSC did and that's how they got so many users, as all users can have an appeal to something on the forums. A little off-topic but my point was made I think.

Sep 18, 2008 Players Gallery/Combat Triangle Wall paper
The self-portrait of that one girl, was insanely awesome. I liked the Gallery just because of it. The wallpaper is also very good. I was tempted to put it as my background, but the colours were too brownish for me. But the formulas on there are pretty interesting. Perhaps to point us in the right or wrong direction...

MSSW4?
There's two or so sites that are already setting up ways in order to attack, especially with having multiple people leading, and having clans 'break off' into their own groups with the new 'set caller' function. To be honest it'll be an interesting war. However I still think Tip.It's numbers will overcome any extremely diverse plan.

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning
Just so you guys know I was using sarcasm...Wasn't meaning to be snoby or whatever, lol. I'm still though holding out for that month after release that I said, so probably mid-october I'll look really hard into buying this. Hopefully by then we have some good players on there who have given a lot of feedback on it. :

What holds more stronger to a clan's reputation? Wars or PK
I love what you said about limits, or rather what I'd think are 'specific courses of combat,'. Which would be as you said returning, time limits, number of kills...etc. Pre-determined fights, or wars will prep your clan for these. In other words these limits are practiced upon by every other, some more than most. However pre-determined, or pre-organized wars don't contain all the mandatory or the limits that will appear in a PKRI, which I stated in my first post (reaction time, pile callers (in wars you have probably 5-10, or a GLIMPSE of the opponents and what they are wearing at some point), as well as the terrain you're on). I think with the greater amount of limits, or specific types of combat which you face give a far better contribution to clan reputation. I know back when I was in main clans, a lot of people talked about being able to 'react' fast enough, and to call proper or easy piles. Meanwhile wars were a routine and not a surprise. Meaning you'd get used to wars, use the same old tactics in the beginning to the end, but in PKRI's how you start off in the beginning of the fight will likely determine the end outcome. I think when you determine between Wars or PKRI's the more you're tested on between wars & PKRI's just shows that your clan can currently dominate all the needed, or required attributes of a fight in order to win. Then again I don't know if I'm the only one who actually looks this closely at clans when choosing to join, or rate one. When the regular user will probably just look at the amount of wars they've won and to who they won against and probably lost against. And depending on what those clans have as current reputation will also change the users opinion on the original clans reputation or choice to join.

Corpereal beast solo with cannon + spirit shield? + message
It's probably solo'able and someone will probably do it. I'm just not sure how much risk would be involved in killing it.

Islam Ads on Buses
Too many people have generalizing views towards Muslims. It's a great religion to read about it and understand. Anyways I hope they publicize how many people inquired about this, so hopefully it'll be a good amount!

Are you planning on attending the Mssw4?
I'll be there, but not with Tip.It =P Pure Community ftw.

MSSW4?
I think further speculation should go here: viewtopic.php?f=112&t=762036 Since it's the official topic, and it'll have more publicity than in here...

Farting
Wow...did someone misdirect to /b/? Oh wait there's no pictures...yet. Honestly, if it's that annoying: 1. Tell him to stop. 2. Tell your parents. 3. Take away his food supply until he does stop (yes, I mean your brother).

Spawn Camping Honourable?
Whatever works to win. If your clan gets pushed back to the spawn area? That must say that your clan is going to lose. >.> Why give them another chance to possibly beat you if you push them back so far, and just retreat a bit further back? Not to mention how hard it will be to clarify the areas in which you shouldn't go to as it'll count as spawn camping. As well, where does spawn camping end? Honestly, it should be utilized as your clan pushed them back, it's your work. Your clan wasn't good enough to hold them off, so let's make another excuse to keep making exceptions.

Bubble Wrapping Kids
OP is only counted as a jerk because he was just negatively insulting someone. Don't really know why that counts as being a jerk if the OP actually wanted some discussion from this, and was just using a truthful[i/] example. Just because it hurts to say the truth, doesn't mean you shouldn't say it. We're never going to find out if the bullying came first, or it's the parents fault, or the child's for not having the 'proper social development'. But anyways to the point of the post, being over-protective is extremely idiotical. Even though it's bad, I want my child to fall and scrape their knee. But I also want to teach them to get back up again, and try again. Falling down is only the beginning of something better. Stopping people from falling down and not learning those valuable ideals and emotions is why people need to be shot in the head with reality.

We won't when. I'm going to be sourly disappointed though if RSC can't get their numbers up to make it interesting, and not a Multi-Site Steel Massacre.

Your Opinion
My opinion on Tattoos is make sure you know what you're doing, and that it's meaningful, and nota spur of the moment kind of thing. Long hair? Don't really care for it, but it is a turn-off on most guys. That 3% of the male population that look good with it, I'm not complaining.
