  1. I'd just supercompost and not pay. The seed is very cheap compared to the bananas. Plus you'll be able to grow pineapples in no time anyway. If you insist bones to bananas is better I think.
  2. In addition to OTM's post: Assuming you can get 4k points/hour or 500k gp/hour: Nature staff is worth getting if you plan to get 40.6m magic xp by alching. Nature staff is worth getting if you plan to get 10.7m magic xp by superheating. Assuming you can get 4k points/hour or 3m gp/hour: Nature staff is worth getting if you plan to get 243m magic xp by alching (lol) Nature staff is worth getting if you plan to get 64.3m magic xp by superheating. For the majority of casual players, the staff is not worth it.
  3. If I could only have one herb patch it'd be Trollheim. The patch never dies, so you get more yield on average. Bad luck with the herbs. Use Trolheim to bring down your death ratio! Not sure about stacking with 99 fishing, but it can't hurt and gives a large amount of free sharks and swordfish. Of course nothing huge to give up for a pet, so no worries if you want to grow your pet either.
  4. One more thing to add to money making is a daily shop run. There are a few guides on TIF about which NPCs sell/give good stuff. High profit/h opportunity if you can bother (I don't out of laziness  ). About items: [hide]When investing, the best option is always flipping. It gives the highest returns on your investments. However you may not always be able to find enough items to spend all your money on. You may also make a bad buy and lose money. I personally have not flipped very much in the last month because the markets on items I usually flipped grew chaotic and unprofitable. I'd stay away from clan investing, generally low returns (selling quite early) or high risk (waiting a long while). If you're looking for long term investments, a santa might not be a bad idea. It's only a matter of time before there's another buyout attempt, and otherwise it will rise long term. Another option is amulets of fury which will grow increasingly rare and have had an upward price trend since Tzhaar shops were modified. I'd stay away from h'weens but that's just me.[/hide] About skills: [hide]You should buy things in decreasing order of most benefit per dollar. 99 range - very cheap, very useful for the two most profitable bosses. Get this as soon as you're ready to move over to killing those bosses. -99 Mage - virtually useless past 80 aside from small benefits for Solo Rex for accuracy and GWD/TDs/Corp for defence. I would get this last. -95 prayer - great for any melee you do. If you want to do bandos you will REALLY want it since the accuracy increase is really useful there. For TDs it is great, but piety is perfectly acceptable since due to switching you may want eagle eye (also turmoil doesn't set in til your second hit, which in some cases the demon may have switched). Bandos solo isn't worth it unless you have overloads, though, so this can wait. 225m? -90 herblore - extremes are very useful, especially extreme ranged which gives a huge advantage over regular ranged about 150m. -95 herblore - just get 92 and stew - once you can afford 95 you can afford 99. Allows you to use brews while soloing. Invaluable for soloing any GWD, unnecessary (but helpful) at TDs. Another 35m. This can be put on back burner. -96 summoning - useful for every boss, get this. You should do waterfiends unless you want magic xp, since currently your income isn't high enough to justify it. So the order I would recommend 1. 99 ranged as soon as you want to kill a ranged boss. 2. 96 summoning 3. 90 herblore 4. 95 prayer 5. 92+ herblore 6. 99 firemaking 7. 99 cooking 8. 99 mining 9. 99 magic (seriously, it's about that useless for combat) Obviously if you want to do Bandos you'll want to get overloads before turmoil [/hide] About bosses: [hide]If you're soloing anyway, may as well do TDs instead of Armadyl. They're safer, quicker, better charms, lower stress, better drop rates, and not much worse profits than Armadyl. At maxed stats TDs are about 3.8m/h (35 kills) just from claws with unicorn, and about 5m (45 kills) or more with steel titan; I have been told solo Armadyl with steel titan is supposedly 5.5m or better, but this was with higher AGS and armadyl prices. If you like Armadyl, enjoy away. The best part about TDs is it's actually best to solo unless you're after LSP if you're trying to get a divine/elysian sigil. You can use "welfare gear" if you need and do them whenever. There's a learning curve with prayer switching, however.[/hide] A very important note: [hide]QUIT WORRYING SO MUCH ABOUT MAXING. Seriously. From what I read you're overly concerned about maxing out your bosshunting abilities. Slow down, and go step by step. And for the love of god try to enjoy it.[/hide]
  5. Heh, doing all my clues from 15m slayer xp helps in the quantity department, if not the average quality department.
  6. Battle robes are better. You can resell them once you're done.
  7. Staff of light Battle Robes Glory Unholy Book Mystic Boots God Cape Ring of life
  8. Gravite staff says +5%. Nature/law staff says nothing. Enough evidence for me.
  9. Can get about 200 obsidian charms/h. Making 1k geyser titans would get you 783.2k xp, cost you 8119k, and take 15 minutes to make Making 1k lava titans would get you 730.4k xp, cost you 1625k, take 15 minutes to make, and 5 hours to gather charms. To make up the 52.8k xp, you'd have to gather another 141 crimsons, which would take around an hour. 141 Swamp titans would cost you 304k and take 2 minutes to make. So your options really are: Geysers: 8119k gp, 15 minutes Lava + Swamp: 1929k gp, 6 hours and 17 minutes At the cost of 6.03 hours, you save 6190k gp. If you make more than 1025k/h, geysers are better.
  10. Got three Dragon Boots from 178 Spiritual Mages, as well as a clue: Best I've had in a while, 2.5m + 3 dragon boots. :^_^:
  11. I think the US government should have a double income week, it would save people so much time and we'd all (or at least those who play in the US) have more money.
  12. Spend your money on Claws and prayer/herblore instead. Those are more useful than any godsword or Bandos armor. Also get a fury and berserker before you buy bandos.
  13. No one actually quits over something like this. All the people you hear saying such things are just a bunch of angry teens shouting an empty bluff.
  14. Try: Super attack potions Rune Defender Piety
  15. Not worth your time making money with airs for armor that you aren't binding. Better to die a few times than waste half an hour.
  16. There would need to be a mute option for individual players.
  17. 20 minutes of each isn't extensive, and that wasn't the experiment referred to before.
  18. Pawya meat goes for like 12-15k on the street, if you have junk you need to get rid of. Otherwise don't bother with them by themselves. Grenwalls are good, but aren't worth the hassle til you are 80 and have 5 traps. So stick to salamanders or chinchompas til 80.
  19. Now you're sounding like a juggalo who doesn't want to talk to a scientist cause they're always lying and gettin' you pissed. Not everything is an opinion. Perhaps, but piety would be the next logical step rather than the Z spear. But I'll agree the difference between them is not lifechanging - it's a few thousand xp/h and it really isn't going to kill you to use the spear. If I hit 80% of the time with my rune scimitar (45 slash) on cows, then based on a ratio I should be able to use a godsword (132 slash) and hit 235% of the time. Where you went wrong is that you are not taking into account attack level, potions, prayers, and accuracy bonuses from other equipments. Also accuracy bonuses have diminishing marginal returns after you hit 50% of the time.
  20. 69 construction is not even that expensive, and the altar isn't too bad. Get your own altar - the time you save will probably cover the cost. Plus it's an investment in your skills - you can never lose that.
  21. Tell your friend to make up his own damn mind and stop worrying about what people on an internet game will think of him. And I agree with Mercifull - I don't trust manipulators, or really anyone in runescape for that matter.
  22. Wow! 18 agility xp today! You'll have 99 in only 913 years!
