i recommend starting off by dungeoneering for a chaotic weapon as for other gear, if you post how much gp you have, it'll be easier to give you a start in the right direction also post all your combat stats -
melee: use whip, deflector, barrows gloves ranged: use crossbow, deflector, and armadyl chestplate (or dragonhide)

did she have lootshare on? that's the only thing i could see being an issue. -
try powerslaying and tell me you don't get better at it the more you do it. other examples: construction and drop fishing or backwards making.

in order from best to worst: get 70 prayer and do waterfiends or get 70 prayer and do cockroaches or get 70 prayer and do slayer

well i didn't know that the minigames which quests are "forcing" (lol) you to do, soulwars and pest control, are considered "unpopular" by any means.

they could do "bonus rewards weekend" for minigames - give bonus zeal, SC points, Castlewars tickets, etc. that would work better

i don't really pvp, so i can't say anything about its effects there however in pvm, i'd hardly call it game breaking. claws average higher, so really the only circumstances where you would use it is if you don't want to risk a 30m pair of claws

well, you don't kill bosses, right? cause that's only for nolifer nerd 12 year old efficiency freaks. so maybe rapier would be a better choice if you do slayer only

where is the opinion in that statement? it's all facts (which may or may not be true) also "it's not worth getting extremes and turmoil" is kinda dumb because, presumably, you don't just stop doing combat at 99. and even if you did stop doing combat, you would go train other skills like... herblore and prayer. :-k

dks are terrible, round 2k kills of them since they came out and one elite my recommendations are: tds -or- slaying, skipping all tasks that are not wyrms/metals/dagannoths (do dks) or abyssal demons

training with overloads, turmoil, max gear, and cannon can be objectively shown to be more efficient than using full dragon a glory and a dfs. it is only once you factor personal preference that this "verdict" can change.
