Then it is still better to do them now than later. You have nothing to gain from delaying until then

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
chenw replied to runescapeloser22's topic in Off-Topic
Playing Witcher 1 at the moment, working towards witcher 2. I like the main character being mercenary with a conscience and standards, but still not above himself for doing things for free, which most other RPGs seem to do rather often (as in your character asks for reward upfront, rather than being paid by the beneficiary on his/her own). Social setting is also darker than usual. I like that -
Locking that I don't agree with
chenw replied to Resistance's topic in Forum Updates and Suggestions
The reason why the thread was locked is because the thread was discussing an issue that is deemed sensitive given the cultural history of the West, pretty much the same as how pretty much every religion discussion will always end up people hurling bad posts at each other. Not to also mention the fact that it's speculative, and no actual concrete evidence beyond their Videos. If we really did care about losing the so-called 'platinum' status, then we probably have locked every thread that mentioned Jagex in a negative way. If the thread arguments hold, couldn't we then sue almost every woman cosmetic company for sexist preference in employee because their models are all female? Maybe do those for male cosmetics too? Maybe sue most governments in the world for showing preference to male politicians to female politicians? Or perhaps sue them for using white females in preference to other races, because of the globalness of their products? If the thread wants to pull the racism card, then there better be damn good proof, because otherwise it is just another baseless attack on the company itself, which, despite all the grudges I have against the company, is unneeded, counter productive and will end with deeper resent by both sides of the argument, and serve absolutely no purpose other than tainting the company's image, regardless of whether it is needed or not. The thread was well locked, as it is not fit for discussion, at all, in any shape or form. Not even by those who are resistant/immune to the racism cards. -
Unless you are going for max port score, I wouldn't change it
-
Chances of rolling enough trade good voyages so that it will eat all your ship's time (8 minimum) is slim, so why not send them out on resources. I am also going to maxing trade goods, but I won't be making tradeable armor unless I am reaching the cap with them. Losing tradeable armor is too painful to risk it
-
Any idea what a theoretical max crew should look like?
-
It's only for 'completion' sake, nothing more. Besides that is pretty much the only thing you CAN work on after getting all port armors, scrolls and buildings :P
-
I thought that was what defence was doing exactly, it always had been
-
Just finished my Jade portal, meaning that there is now nothing in my port left to work for. Time to Max out all port resources and Trade goods, Bamboo is going to be very painful
-
Not in the slightest, you will eventually be loaded with those resources a lot lot earlier than you would complete your scrolls or overload on trade goods
-
That is when 1 use boosters come in handy. I made sure I had 3 of each SF, Combat and Morale boosters before attempting it, and use it all in one go. I managed to get around 80% or so (can't remember the exact figure) with all 3x3 active

Best way by far is completing a Kiln run. You need to do at least Elder Kiln quest and sacrifice a Fire cape to unlock kiln (the unlock is permanent), and the end of the Kiln, you are given a choice of either the Cape or an Onyx. The next best would be trying your luck with a Gem mining scrimshaw on bane ores. Gathering tokkuls for Onyx takes very long, probably longer than either of the above methods if you start from scratch
-
Pernix is best, though only marginally better than Armadyl (this is the assumption of you are slaying) Void is still useful afaik for non-task related killings. Also, I'd try using Hand Cannon, straight up better than Crystal bow, assuming you have done Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf quest
-
Knock all your basics to at most 6 (except Seafaring crew, get at most 4 and hire one more sea witch), then get 2 merchants
-
Well the idea I was having was this, I'll use an example We have 5 bars, I set bar #1 to melee, #2 to ranged, #3 to Magic, and perhaps #4 to shield. As soon as I equip an weapon, for example, Drygore, my bar would automatically jump to bar #1. Then half way during the fight, I switch to RCB, the bar would then automatically jump to #2, etc. Perhaps also program it so that if you switch weapons while you have a shield equipped, the bars will not jump. Of course have the option to (easily( disable bar switching, and also limit the bar assignment so you cannot assign a class to more than 1 bar (but can assign more than 1 class to a bar).

Fire a Harem
-
Or, Another way is probably program the action bar to be able to change automatically to that bar when you switch weapons.
-
Fully expected, I have done it myself on many occasions :P The only time you'd not send a merchant is either for XP or Scrolls, otherwise merchant goes on the ship after the captain (even before JoD). However, I would not use a merchant if the trade voyage yields 3 or less trade goods (since merchant doesn't have an effect with those).

Divination - one of the new skills reported by IGN
chenw replied to Kimberly's topic in General Discussion
Or channeling. I Really don't see that as all the gods are mortals, but they've gathered so much of this godly energy and lived so long that they have cognitively dissolved the boundaries of mortal thinking. Meaning they don't see anything that can really kill or stop them. With possible exception of Zaros, as he is the most recent god (at lease I know of) besides Guthix who had their rear ends handed over to another god. Practically, they are gods (since not many things are capable of killing them), but they certainly are not invincible. I'd be interested in seeing a God VS dragonkin showdown though. -
Banned for assuming that offending ALG is in anyway wrong. *RUNS*
