Unfortunately you can't remake them once you finish the quest -_- you have to use Ogre rock cakes, and you need multiple of those since they're one use. RFD rock cakes are infinite use.

If you die, don't expect your items back. I've died with 2m on me during Royal Troubles, I died with 1m worth of alching supplies once, and I didn't expect 1 gp of it back.
