Very nice, I like it. My only criticism is that you should probably flip the smaller planet. It's obvious that you just used the same one, so reorienting the small one should spice it up a little.

Yep, all by myself. The whole gritty part was unintended.. I was just messing around with some overlays and it turned out very well.

Yea, everything in there I made myself (other than the lyrics). I didn't want to use the actual cover art so I made my own pentagram. :) I didn't used to like metal at all until I lived with my best friend for my freshman year of college. I do now.

Ah.. so I got the new Oh, Sleeper album and I must say "IT ROCKS!" So the cover art is a pentagram with the top two points cut off, which represents the Devil's horns ripped off by God. Oh, Sleeper is a band that likes controversial imagery and lyrics that makes you think (not the standard "praise Jesus" Christian music). It's really moving music if you listen to the lyrics- powerful stuff. But anyways, enough of the story. I decided to make myself a good ol' desktop of the cover art. I don't like a lot of stuff going on on my desktop, so I try to keep colors and really stand-out stuff to a minimum. So my idea for this was to take the pentagram off the cover art and wrap some lyrics around it, and hopefully make it look cool in the process. So here it is! Comments and criticism please. i can't seem to do that. -.- how do you do it? Have the item you want in your inventory. Right click said item and navigate to the "drop" feature on the right-click menu that pops up. Magic ensues, and your item is dropped.

Harbrlgarbl- there's so many glitchnesses with today's updates. Lot of mini-map problems. And I would like to take the time to say that "unspam" is the stupidest thing in this thread. You don't have to post a picture every time you make a post.

Yea, it's essentially a demo.. This was a good read. I wonder though if having bases to start off with will detract from the "cool" factor of a POH (or POB in this case?). When they were discussing the grinding concept Henrique said there was a lot of things to tweak and experiment with. I'm assuming this is in regards to combining various components, weapons, armour, etc. to form a "warrior" of some sort. I'm thinking something along the lines of the Armored Core series- that would be cool. :D

Most likely not blue dragons as they tend to have a high mage defense, right?

I don't know if anyone's thought of this or not, but what about stat signatures and stat tracking websites? This will completely change their dynamic.. either the user will have to create a new sig or register a "new" character each time they change their name, for every site they use; or the sites will have to change their coding to incorporate name changing and automatically recognize a name change and act accordingly.

I was googling "dynamic" and "automatic changing" signature hosts for a lack of better words. ;) Too bad I couldn't have been of much help.

The economy and the skills behind it are pretty unique. Runescape has it's own market system that works like it would in real life (minus political and moral obligations). I think it's capatilist? I never paid much attention in my economics class. Other games have such a market, but where do the raw materials come from? Usually, it will be from farming a monster for its hide/bones/special drop to turn into an NPC or somesuch to do the crafting/smithing/making for you. But with RS, you get to do that all yourself. Tell me how many games have such a diverse skill set- both of production and consumption skills- as Runescape? I don't think there are many, if any.
