  2. It comes across as whining if I say 'I did this, I did that...' I have a plan of action that will put my brother and sister in a bad light. Slightly brown nose by doing most of the chores and even going out of my way to help around the house. It'll probably take a week or so for my mum to notice. I kinda like childish sibling wars.
  3. It's a common phrase used when parting with someone, I wouldn't be so embarrassed of its usage if I were you Duff. I've said 'see you' to cashiers at the tills despite having the intention of never seeing them again. I've had many embarrassing moments when riding my bicycle in traffic. One of the most embarrassing is when I misjudged the speed of a car (or to be more precise, how fast a car accelerates) and I forced the car to slow down else it would have touched me. The car was at some red lights which turned green and I was already going quite fast so I didn't want to lose my speed. I didn't ride my bicycle for two weeks after that but the situation made me a better cyclist.

    Found that caption particularly funny.
  7. I wish I met people who had no ulterior motives apart from wanting be my friend. Also, I dislike the way my brother brags to my mum about the housework he's done. It totally devalues what I've done because I don't announce it to the world then I get pooped on.
  8. I thought it was brilliant, but that may be because I am bias by being British. It was quirky and fun but a bit of a mess too. I enjoyed Rowan Atkinson's part the most though. Also to address the above, they won't kick out teams unless they've done something illegal I bet. They're trying not to cause any upset. I think GB had to accommodate to an Arab country's term in some event or the other. Probably something about their women.

That cathedral/church looks pretty darn amazing. Does Minecraft not have a friends list type system? I find it lacking in those areas :\
  11. It is well drawn and incredibly cute. I though the art would stay in its minimalist style but there was on particular comic that showed that the artist is quite adept with his/her drawing. Helps that it makes many references I get. TNPW reply to this post as soon as they see it with a picture of a cat.
  12. Lord Paul's first foray into Forum Games and he does it wrong :P Chewing.
  13. Thanks :) Yeah faces sorely need work on. The problem I'm having is where the shadows go. 25th July Just did a quick cartoon piece today because ich bin tired. I was actually going to draw him handing money to a buddy with a monster laying dead in the background but it was too much effort.

Eat breakfast, well lunch because it's 3pm but I've just woken up, then I'm going on a mission with my bicycle. Or rowing machine, depending on whether my cycling clothes are appropriate for the weather. I bought Minecraft a week ago and I've already racked up over 25 hours so I'm doing more outsidey things.

Moved to Rants. Long running games change to accommodate newer markets. Sure there are some pretty bad updates (Read: money grabbing updates) but there's still some playability in RuneScape. What don't you like about the 'new' RuneScape?
  23. 21st July This... killed my hand. The scale of it got too big and I became too impatient to draw a background or surroundings. I also kept the time because I knew I worked on these for many hours but wasn't sure of the exact amount. This one took considerably longer due to having more than one character in it. The Body Yep, warrior, mage and ranger. I usually draw the warrior so I decided to branch out a little. The Sketch I moved the mager a bit to the right. They're all wearing the newer armours (which I'm still not used to!) This, along with the body pre-sketch took a total of 1 hour 30 mins. Blimey!! The mager is wearing ahrims, the ranger is wearing dragonhide and the warrior is wearing bandos. The Lineart This took... 2 hours and 10 mins. I forgot to take a screenshot pre-colouring of the lines so they aren't black. The Colour I didn't time the colouring and shading individually. I pretty much pulled the colours out of actual RuneScape images. It's best to use the originals. Doing the ranger's dragonhide was a bit tricky because this was my first time ever drawing that. The mage's clothes were just layers of clothes which was easy but a bit hard to represent from that angle. The Shade ...8 hours 50 minutes to colour and shade! And then 1 hour to colour the black lineart. At the end I got sloppy because I wanted it to be over and done with. That's a total of 13 hours 30 minutes. I did not realise this was so time consuming. The scales were rather hard to draw individually so I drew one line and copy-pasted it continuously. It's not perfect: There's a wee bit of touching up to be done which will take another hour or two. If I link to the full sized image, you'd be able to zoom in at the edges where the colouring is not complete. From afar it looks alright: But zoomed in: However that's a task for a rainy day. I'm pleased with the outcome and instead of taking up big projects like this again, I'd much rather focus on improving problem areas. My hands are good now, the feet need a tiny bit of work and faces definitely need a lot of work. Oh, one more thing. I was experimenting with easier ways to shade at some point. At certain sections of the image you can see areas where I've airbrushed instead of colouring, then using the water tool to merge colours. Airbrushing is certainly easier but it gave it the 'embossed' feel (see mager's staff). I can finally take a break now.

And here is this same video's url/link that I've copied right now. Unless I'm copy/paste'ing the wrong thing, embedding doesn't work for me. You have to remove the https:// part it seems. Videos with http:// should work.
