My mum's roundabout way of arguing for wearing a 'spiritual' necklace which I am against. You're supposed to never take it off. Her: Wearing it made you want to go to school. Me: I used to take it off whenever I showered. Her: That's why you didn't get the marks you wanted. I don't know how people could so adamantly believe that the direction of fate will be down to some piece of metal tied around their neck. It's as if our own raw determination to do well adds nothing to our future :rolleyes:

Tonight I shall treat my family to ye ole fish'n'chips. We will dine luxuriously with fresh potato chips and smoked salmon. Usually white fish such as cod and haddock are used but we prefer the taste smoked salmon gives (or at least I do).

We weren't told the deadline for when they were going to send the results to Edexcel. They did say that all the work had to be in 26th of May however for some modules there was work to be handed in after that date so I think they were mistaken when they announced that. This particular teacher also likes to mark his work very late. His first module it ended up being marked a week before it was due. Also we don't have a time limit to resubmit corrected work so I put it off thinking it was okay. It's not a solid alibi and it's my fault. I even paid a £200 non-refundable booking fee for accommodation. I just feel so shit knowing that I could have prevented this had I not dawdled. I dread when I have to tell my parents.

How does a CV reference work? I include the details on my CV and do the employer tell me they're gonna call them up? Do I have to tell my references who I gave CVs to so that they know what to expect? Or do I just throw my CV at people and let it happen by itself?

Wow... Just found out that my work cannot be marked because I missed the deadline for a resubmission, one which I was not told about. I won't get the points I need for my university course. I needed 240 points but I only have 200 from this course. I have no idea what to do now.

Regarding swearing, as long as you aren't being hurtful towards someone then it is allowed. You just have to put the video in hide tags and clearly label that it has swearing in it.

Best part of the Italy v Germany match was the BBC coverage. When Italy scored their first goal, there was a close up of a Germany fan who had a tear running down their cheek xD Today I went on a lickle bike ride with the sister. Upon returning home my sister and I fabricated a story about how we saw a random half-naked man in the woods. My mum being one of the most gullible woman alive believed it and almost started crying. I feared for my life so I owned up. I was cornered in the kitchen with a half eaten banana in my mouth, unable to hold the giggles whilst my mum held a slipper at me threateningly xD Ah Mother, you make it so easy.

I never noticed it before and it is actually much better to draw than the older Bandos armour. I tried to not make it look so flat and stuck onto the body which failed at some places. A definite improvement I'd say.
