Is the bug with focus sights/full slayer helms confirmed and being worked on? Also, i did not see any slayer points given in that screenshot! How dare she substitute 18 points with 25k xp....the nerve....

I've gotten 29 total spirit seeds(I'm pretty sure all were from mtk nests) from 3ish years of having 5 workers on maples.

i remmeber the overlord being extremely good because of its long range attack etc. I don't really remember anything else being good up to talon beasts or whenever obby golems were...

I like to use... -slay hat -fury -monk top(sara item proselyte for you since you have ss) -zam robe bottom(only 1 less than prose legs and zam item) -barrows gloves -d boots -whip(ss for you) -defender(ss for you) -sw cape -ferc ring(I just leave this on while slaying) That is the best in my opinion, and I just try to find an empty world and then attack all of the 3 near Kril's door and let my character automatically kill them. Also make sure to use up your rpayer before you swim across, I usually just piety/turmoil any sara mages running around in the middle until I run out of points. Also, a fighting familiar would help a lot but anything weaker than a geyser titan will probably get killed before the task is over. EDIT: Also, no a stole is not worth it to use for this.

Personally I disagree with this completely. The flipper is capitalizing on the impatience of others(not lookign at this specific example). to buy at a notably low price or sell at a notably high price, patience is required. People who are unwilling to wait supply the cheap items and pay the exorbitant prices. that transaction will occur whether or not the person on the other end has the sole intention of reselling/buying that same item at a different price.

How do you get the items instead of the blessing? All that mix is offering is the blessing, which i don't want.

After a few trades I ended up with 2 focuses, 3 hex, and 2 sols, 150m in coins, and no junk. Do you think that I could get a green or blue mask from a desperate person with what I have? I'm trying to maximize eventual resale, and from a quick look the wyrm loot is going up at about 750k per day while a green is rising around 1.5m/day. Is there any chance of getting a green? or what else would be the best deal?

In any situation where you would be using piety that I can think of off the top of my head(besides waterfiends), turmoil is better than piety andit drains notably slower.

Excactly. I would go for the SoL though because 1/8 casts saved really adds up. You also don't have to worry about your Guthix cape. Guthix or other god cape is the best option for that slot while maging, and you have to balance the small amount of money saved agains the loss of speed from the higher max couple with the defense drain of COG.

In all honesty I do not have a fire cape and will not gt one if it is not required, but I would still like if they did not back down on this on principal...

Thank you for that link tha is an extremely good start! Sadly that guide only lists out ratios of drops in relation to each other(ie. 4.4 swords per hilt). I'm sure that that poster could tweak their code a bit to tally up the numbers for enumerated monsters. To the person who mentioned the omission of ls kills, sadly that would cut back the sample size considerably, bu as seen on that other forum, solo kills clearly compensate for this. Also, if lootshared drops were included, the data would be inaccurate do to duplicates created by the same drop being recorded more than once on different logs. If you have an account in that forum, could you please post a link to this topic? Maybe that author would be interested.

With adventurer's logs, now every boss kill in the entire game(barring private logs) is recorded and publically available. So would it not be theoretically possible for someone to create a script that scans through every players log(no idea how long this would take or even if it is possible) and then tally up the numbers of each individual drop? "Normal" monsters such as strykewyrms and abbysal demons would not be eligible due to the fact that only rare drop kills get recorded, but for the bigger monsters, isn't this an opportunity to greatly reduce the ambiguity of "luck" in runescape?

The hexcrest and focus sight do the same as the black mask so the hexcrest is +mage accuracy and +mage damage vs slayer task. The focus sight is +ranged accuracy and +ranged damage vs slayer task. By now it seems to have become common practice for mages to employ claws of guthix as their spell of choice due to its defense draining efect...but shouldn't flames of zamorak be better? if I remember correctly, your defense against magic is mainly dependent on your magic level and flames drains magic...

It amazes me how anyone could train that god awful skill past...5...honestly I couldn't even make it to 75 for the diaryand had to use penguins :-D That is...nice? I guess. A permanent top spot is definately a wonderful achievement.

Well I tried it myself and noticed that the cow's spec does not restore fast enough to bank the hides as well as bones without slowing down killing, so i just filled it with bones and then banked the extras as they dropped. I only used one dose of prayer potion(did not bother to flash split just left it on when needed) and left with 15ish points, so 1 potion was plenty. Even normal antifire potions seem a bit excessive, but thank you for your input guys. I think that I will just go with no food/banking just the bones and healing with split and ee. it looks like picking up hides would make meleeing a good bit slower, but maybe it would be ok for range.

I have not killed a blue dragon in....a long time, so I'm a bit fuzzy on their damage capabilities and the necessary food etc... So to my question...In your opinion, would it be best to... ...take along a pak cow while killing blue dragons so that it would be possible to bank all bones+hides in one trip while using ee+soulsplit for hp ....take along a pony/bunyip for healing and bank when my inventory was full ...take along a pony/bunyip and just bury excess bones/drop hides What do you think? About how many prayer potions would I need to kill 200ish of these at 95 defense using soul split and an enhanced excalibur for food? (19 prayer bonus/bandos/dfs). Is a pony necessary or would the healing from a bunyip suffice? What about a bunyip alongside the ee? For me dragon meleeing usually means that I will be praying and therefore healing is not an issue...but blues seem sufficiently weak to bypass protection prayer, and I've become a bit accustomed to not bringing any food at all...but I'm betting that with the fire alongside normal attacks blues can output more damage than the alloted 20 hp per 5 minutes do to the 1 handed restriction. I will probably end up ranging these once I get one of those focuses...but until then melee will be the way to go. EDIT: Rune wiki seems to state that split drains faster than deflect...but it would not be in use for the entire fight i would assume, still notable.

I think that the exclusion from Kuradal's list will really make the jungle wyrm's item stay a good bit over the other...please tell me that the jungle one has the hexcrest and not the focus...

In my opinion, kilisa and arma spirit warriors should be fully meleeable, but besides those, assuming these birds would have some basic reasoning, it could just throw the spears at you from a little higehr up if you tried to poke at it with the halberd.

Well I've been not wearing any fremmenik rings up until this point because the miniscule benefit from them was impossible to compare from the intangible expected benefit from a row. Now that it has been revealed that that intangible benefit is nearly worthless, I'll take that miniscule boost (I'd like a neutral face smiley to stick here). Suppose I'll leave off that row when soloing from now on :roll:
