Mark Gerhard testimony in Bruce vs Evony case
Brilliant! Ripping off the name of one game and the advertising of another...they'll never put it together!

iron drags
Monk robe bottom has the same prayer bonus as proselyte legs. I think that initiate legs have the same bonus as well, actually, but I do not remember.

mithril dragons
I second this. That is, unless you want to piety with lbs, but I personally would avoid that if I did not have a soul wars cape, use the 5 or 10% range prayer or leech defense. Anti-dragon shield is better than dfs while ranging/maging and damage is not that much of a concern because of the -5 penalty from dfs.

Yes, someone actually posted a link to that person's recordings earlier in the topic somewhere.

Going to Armadyl
yup The idea is to make extreme range pots. I only take 15 and would put 30 as a max realistically as that is...what 23 levels per dose? That's 69 potentiel minutes of boosted range per 5 spikes9i would say closer to 55-60 as you might as well booste arlier) or 207 minutes per drop, I would not advise staying for more than 5 hours and with space concerns 2 drops should be more than enough for one trip. Here's a picture of my setup... I summon one pony when I teleport and then immediately refill points at the obelisk so that I can summon a second pony without restoring, the 6 brews are for emergencies, and I know fury is better etc, etc, but seeing glowing red prayer points along with that "recently blessed by the gods" crap is not cool... A spectral or elysian(not personally interested in divine) shield with a fury would definately be better, though. someone in that gear could outhit you in ffa (range bonus) aka that armour is baiting being crashed asap It's hard to hit when you are constantly downing potions/food  For the bolt pouch, I put the broad bolts there after kc and dragon bolts/rune bolts from kree to save space.

Potential Accurate Droprates
Does anyone know if any headway has been made on this issue? I just randomly remembered that this topic existed while thinking about something similar.

Butler or demon butler?
No, the human butler is far better because it brings you exactly 20 planks as opposed to 26(unless you manually type 20, I preferr to randomly hit 3 integers). With the demon you end up using multiple interactions to get your planks because you are using 20 while being supplied with 26, and sometimes due to some glitch the excess planks will be returned to the bank. Also it is better to bring noted planks with you and have them unnoted than to just ask for withdrawal as you can just use the planks on the butler. For that last part actually try it yourself I have not trained construction in a long time. EDIT: Also, yes he is too fast and will interrupt your build menu when he arrives unless they have changed that in the last...year?

New Skill Tomorrow??
Just because the USA is on holiday doesn't mean that all the games companies will stand to attention and deliver something. Jagex are British, so therefore they'll base themselves on the British holiday's not American IMO, otherwise most people will just think they're selling out and becoming an Americanised British company and I'd really hate that to happen. This is the last week of school/college/uni for pretty much everyone in the UK so therefore after next week will be prime time; however the Easter event will come then. TBF I'd say they'll co-ordinate it with the end of term for everyone, which is ~end of june usually. It's probably a much safer bet to release it then when they'll receive an influx of kids and adults playing more. My 2 cents: Wait till June and see. It's not that hard, and it's not too far away. They did a Thanksgiving update and multiple April Fool's updates/posts(not sure on the origin of April Fool's). Also, we've got dibs on the red suit santa in the U.S.

22-Mar-2010 - Fish Flingers
This seems too fleshed out to be a d&d, more minigame style. Does not realy look like something that I will partake in, though.

Shattered Heart Discussion
I personally never a relationship in the rate at which fishing spots move, and the number of players. Try monkfishing on world 99 or some other popular world, and then try a new zealand or some other deserted world.
-
Shattered Heart Discussion
Well...it is DEFINATELY true that fishing spots move more quickly and trees fall more quickly while there are more people present, so you will spend more time moving to spots, so more people will slow you down overall.

Summoning
Geyser and iron titans were selling at mid price for some reason...no idea why, but if you're making those you are better off selling in the GE than swapping. Ponies at min in the GE are probably worth more, too.

World 2
How have people been getting into World 2 and other full worlds after the lobby update? You obviously can't just hold enter as before. is the only option constantly clicking "click here to play" and "back?"

Last Minute XP Weekend Preparations
Herblore is more expensive if you are training both sensibly, so I personally will do that first. However, summoning is MUCH faster to train...so I would say that it depends on what levels you are trying to reach. I do not see what the worry about the start time is really...I seriously doubt that *most* players will even be on enough to run down the multiplier to 1.1, so it really does not matter when you start, seeing as you only need at most 10 out of 72 hours to get the 1.2+ multiplier.

Do you like change?
I fear change... This I agree with, except that I think the last digit actually speeds up exp/hr. Constitution really doesn't click in my mind...I'll always be calling it hp >.< ~Dan I think everyone calls it "DDS", too, even though the name was changed in August 2006. Some names just stick. The last digit does speed up combat, though not by more than 2% once you're at a decently high level. Also, it's just a number -- I'm used to it already. (Really, what amazed me is that this update went up with very few glitches -- I was sure that there'd be some way to get 10x experience or the SGS would heal insane amounts of prayer points or something -- very little was overlooked, which I applaud Jagex for.) They did miss the corporeal beast draining stats excessively for a few hours, but ya I too was impressed overall.

Summoning
What you pay to get the pouch made does not affect the end result.

Fast MA
Well that is lame. Considering their stance on Fast SC over the...time, you would think that they would let this sort of thing slide.

Knowledge Base Finds...?
Don't mean to be rude or anything, but what is your source for this? I've seen this said before (along with similar things like the 20:80 ratio mentioned below your post) but only ever on these forums. I've seen it on Rune wiki too but they don't give a source. Back before trade limits I was a mage staker and fought thousands of opponents... Several of which were 99 in all combat stats, and several were 1 defence but 99 mage. Regardless of their defence level, I'd always have the same accuracy against them. Sometimes I'd kill people w/ 1 defence with four casts, sometimes I'd kill maxed players with four casts. Sometimes I'd splash every spell against someone with 1 defence till they killed me, sometimes I'd splash every spell against a maxed person till they killed me. My opponents' defence levels offered no significant additional protection. Only their magic level and equipment mattered. Also, I'd sometimes do mage vs melee stakes-- in which case I'd only fight people with lvl 85 magic or lower. Several of my opponents were maxed melees but with only like lvl 80 magic... As long as they were below about 85 magic, it was pretty much guaranteed that I'd win. Furthermore, I beat them with 4 casts pretty consistently. Of course your anecdotal evidence from observations several years in the past is much more trustworthy than a direct quote from the developer... He's not forcing you to agree with him, he's just stating his opinion on the matter, which he has every right to believe is true... I don't post here much, mainly because of all the little cliques there are going on. He was stating his opinion as fact, which is a pet peeve of mine. I don't personally know any of these people, but welcome anyone to be annoyed with me.

GE Updating
You do, I was messing with offers and noticed it was different one time, and rscript came up with the update about a minute later, so unless it chanegd within the 2-3 seconds that I had the window down, I can definitively say that prices will not refresh automatically.

Solo Arma with overloads?
I would say that they are more worth it while soloing because you won't have to repot range after you brew.

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
I'm no pro, but, right now, I'd trade green and blue for red, if I could. All I needed to hear, thanks  edit: looks like it probably won't happen. Upgrading green to blue sound good? edit 2: nvm, seems red isn't crashing as much as the others or something. not easy to get. Lol got it for blue + 21M after all The frequency of price updates is based on the number traded in GE, right? So the now daily updates for green masks mean that everyone paniced and dumped them =D> I did not think that there would be so much of a difference between red and green owners, though...

New Slayer Changes Discussion
So, is the payment to be able to be assigned wyrms, or able to kill them without a cape? Aka, if you have the cape, can you get the assignment and then just not wear it?

Shattered Heart Discussion
That's severely disapointing, so I suppose that I will have to wait 14 months, as ther eis now a that I'm goin through that trouble before someone else showing that it is worthwhile. If it's just a nice story, I'm sure some generous tiffer will post pictures
