  1. on top to random winthin the tasks, Miths are given is very few amounts (from 4 to 8/10) so i doubt you'd get a good drop there on a slayer task. You need to end barbarian miniquest to be able to enter whirlpool... and Mith Drags lair. Chewed bones are rare too and that part is not required to enter the lair.
  2. 1.2-1.5k with 4 pouches 0 gp + long cut = no summoning so no possible abyss beast of budden or titan. Now since you have no coins, don't think ! Do it the best you can for an hour and see ! Pure essences are toping in price, you can't fail in mining...
  3. Take a breath... and get 250 gp from your bank. Take the ring to piscatoris and make your way to the falconner. Hire his falcon for the money you have and start hunting kebbits until you're 64 (drop the furs). Then back to Yanille and get some trap boxes (take more than you need). Huggle your friends, kiss your parents... and put a pin on your bank. When ready, make your way to the jungle red chinchompas spots and start boxing it... untill you are able to go get hunting cape. With some effort, patience and skill, i' will take you few weeks. The jungle ambiance, the smelly larupia gear and the rythm of the skill will bring you in the wild spiritual state you require to find your real nature. That should reveal to you what will be the next skill you'll cape...

if you make your nats... take those items and check alch price Doesn't 'profit' comes when ge price + 161 (pess) <= alchemy price ? There are many items arround fletching/crafting/smithing who are concerned... since you craft your nats. Now if you check the time spent on runecrafing + alch... with item with small loose + no runescaft+ making money activity you may consider going into the loose and use the spare time in making money. All runescape skilling is resumed here : choice on what you spend your time on. i'd follow guthix in a balanced way... first rc + alch to make some profit and blow it to fastern on the end. Then you'll have experimented the two way for the next time you'll have to choose.
  5. 'Set' option on GE clercks then make it as a box to put in bank and shine if you don't bring at slayer tasks or other activites Inuashakent told about.
  6. Happiness is a feeling, Pixel money is a tool. If you put your aim on money, you will loose happiness as soon you'll loose money witch can occur often and quick. If you don't mind it that much and are fun with how you used it you'll be happy... and will stay. Buying an armour or skill xp or even 'loosing' it in dumb activity (PVPing not as a pure...) can bring you the pleasure to achieve a goal or having fun with ingame friends. Unhealthy working to gather the more possible money for that only purpose only is pointless. Now, even if it's a tool, you can try to use it wisely. You often feel unhappy when you put all your wealth on a piece of armour that price fall down right after you bought it. But at least now you can (adn have to) use it. On the other hand, you can be lucky to have gathered goods that suddenly raise because of an update. To keep happiness : prevent high risk attitude. Don't put all you eggs in the same place. When you feel rich enough, you can blow money on easy xp... that's the only value that won't drop !
  7. ... Society Skill ! [mode fable = on] In that skill , you get experience when you act as a fair player with others : - driving newb to a destination they look for - hoping when someone is already training a spot - never ever telling bad words and always being a good person to talk to... Xp is got from other players who 'tag' your society book so that you can go play without it and still being a bad boy.. or not training it at all. A same player can't tag you for a portion of time and never twice in the same activity... content people can imagine how it can be performed. That way, we may drive player behaviour on back the bright way... Now being a high leveled society can brings you goods you can choose how to use : - temporally extra HP (over 99) without any change on your combat : good for PVP and every fighting activities... The Extra HP point drains along you use it... Charge can be brought back from an bank item or being tagged again by your opponent. - temporally Skill boost You can see that skill wouldn't be costly and couldn't be powertrained... rewards just have to motive the player to be even a better player. Maybe it would help idiotic players (there are some) to try bein better... [mode fable = off]
  8. Like many players, Snipers_end think that because high players do that way with that result, they can do the same. I'm sorry for it, but it's a NO ! Please take the time to look at the xp table and see how it goes... After 68 the progress required for a single level are growing faster. On the other hand, in alsmost every skill, you are plainly efficient at 85... with is also only 25% of the xp required for 99. All that explain why 85 is told to you : best efficience but still 75% to make. That is the reason wise players discovered those 'powertraining' hints. Now, for lower player, looking at those guides is fun and makes them dream (i did too). But they (you) have to be wise not to get lured by waste situation. This is also what is told to you, maybe roughly but wisely. I'd tell you to make goblin's quest cycle that divres you to bone crossbow witch is hell cheap and then fun to use. PS : it is the same with boss hunting... effectively killed at some levels, less is waste.
  9. You are maybe aware some player accounts have that many money in cash they could cover you and your friends with it. When some of those players becomes groups and start wisely merchanting some items, they can buy all is put into GE. Moreover, each one have his 'court' of less rich players and even followers who are told to do the same... making the price moving even faster. The firsts stop at a point then call their friends who continue the effect : rising price. That way the first have bought at really min price anybody can't get... and their 'army' continue. And the friends of those friends do it on a third step... At a moment, when GE price update (they time it quite well) for this item and reach a price, the demand is still ok since the 3rd group and 'you and friends' also surf on the raise. This is the moment the first and second groups all sell in the same time. Anonymous and 3rd groups continue buying when previous makes profits. Now, since some players forced the price to move and made it move the oposite way, this activity is called price manipulation and has nothing to do with the way market would had gone. I explained a raise situation but they also can make a price dropping. Conclusion : you and friend also interfere on price move. But you don't manipulate the price until you sell... and since you won't start (but follow) the price curve change, you don't manipulate yourself the price... you simply take advantage of a limited situation. Many people do what you do and some makes decent money. Price manipulation involve massive coordination and then leaders. Last GE limitation was a 'tap on the noze' for them so slow them down and let GE and price follow a more natural road you still can exploit.
  10. I don't thing gold is a good solution unless you mine it and make your own nats... After superheat, you can alch bars for 280 of craft into... gold bracelet and alch for 330. You wont get the price for 2 nats if you bought it. Now, it just pays the pess. Goldsmith gaunlet works as you smelt gold even with magic spell. Iron ? why not, you wont lose any ore with superheat... Best : you could even get more smithing xp later and maybe cover the nat rune fee while making iron knives you could sell. IMHO : both is the key ! start with iron to make some geepees you will use to pay for gold.

ok ! what about some bombat then ? Have a check on cockroach monster i surely don't spell wel and see it drops... Have also a loog at deep stronghold of security in barbarian village... There it here a place you can almost AFK combat and then see your stats up in decent time.
  12. romu000 replied to slaytanicc's topic in Help and Advice
... that's not being bored ! You're f2p skills are almost good enough to reach the limit where levels becomes harder (68-70). Take one extraction skill : fishing, mining and step it up by 5 levels with banking (no powertaining). Once you did, go get fun at fighting a moment and be back either for 5 more levels or using your items in a transformation skill. Race some friends (+chat), Take good time in minigames with them, and stick again to your task.... I recommend you to take only two related skills to train due to your bank limit : wc/fm fish/cook mining/smithing. If you have a few geepees, you can complete your extracted items with some fril GE and use your transformation skills to make half ended items for good cash (ie smithing with the coal you mine to make bars). Keep a part of your cash for later and invest the rest for more skilling ressources...
  13. Did i missed to mention that ? ooops ! Maybe i thought a runescape player is also good at search and calc... Well, here it is : Gold bracelet alch to 330gp. I spoke about 40k gold ores into bracelet witch is 13.2m. Now, i'll go a little off topic to tell a few more words on surch plans and what it changed to my way to play. I remind runescape is a game. Nowadays and especially since Pvp words has been announced bringing back many pkers with their odd maners, i can't find anyone who don't stress about making cash as fast as possible... Even many skillers are stressed on how to do their skills asap. That mindset on a pker used to stockpile loots is ok. As in combat situation they think very fast and on short term. On a skiller who train craft... it is is allowed only to those who are rich enough to burn a couple of dizain million gp. Runescape skilling is simple : for extraction skills : the faster you got the less you get for trasnformation skills : the faster you go the more it cost. Zapiel's knew it when he built that guide. It is a huge concentration of skills synergy that exploit questing, mining, smithing, crafting, runecrafting and mage. DIY-ing (DIY : Do It Yourself) is not the fastest way to play runescape by far. But, in that case, it allow you to jump over the dhides you can't decently hunt yourself... with extra skills worked. Once you decide to do surch a task, you have to keep in mind the result of the process to stay motivated : cash garanted from it no matter how GE or luck goes... Now DIYing doesn't require you to play 'the old way' and not to use actual possibilities : new quest rewards, items and even GE opportunities. This is the most interresting thing : staying enough informed to keep surch a plan possible in a decent time. So, you will do it, slowly, but with garanted result. That mindset is far away of most expkers-newskillers-evenmorenewmerchands who's main idea is to stay as fast as possible... making their playtime like (or even more) their stressful IRL. Since i made it (and even since i play), i kept most of the time that way to go : a bit slower but ever making money and using the best of the game for it. And when i see i'm being bored, i can spend the money i made on fast skilling... until i'm broke again
  14. Boss hunting with friends for sure... ... with rc to recover my needs if required.
  15. ooo, you remember me ealier. For me the problem was pkers/macro in wild... So i changed my plans to raise crafting into this (guide suffered from forum updates). I took the time and patience to mine 40k+ gold ores, smelt into bars then craft into plain gold bracelets (max craft xp and still decent alch). I did it for the 7x's levels. During that 'long' period i also used my kingdom to get the flax (57k) i required to prepare my 99 fletch and spinned it. I got my 80-85 here. That way i jumped over the green and even red dragonhides to start directly with blues witch are safely rangeable. Next i continued with battle-staves (after Varrock diary 3) and i'm now about to craft furies ! So : you can try to use GE and burn your cash to train craft fast... or you take Zapiel's long road but the result is good too.
  16. i do what Kietaro1 said for long now... The cash i got, i put it in kingdom to gather flax i spinned for more crafting. That way i spinned my BS to get my 99 fletch ready. It gave me a nice 79-85 crafting. I do only this from 85 and i'm now right near 90 ! To the requirement i'll add fairy tale 2 for rings : Edgeville is right near the most used starting ring CIP brings you to miscellania near the coalrock for the kingdom CIQ is for Yanille where Bert gives you the sand. Of course, you can hunt dragons for the rest of the time...
  17. I'll add : Plague City to tele ardougne Wanted ! for some fast slayer levels. Tears of Guthix for weekly xp. ... and of course all possible quests asap since it opens the best parts of runescape.
  18. +1 ! Like now a few monthes, many skills interfaces are evolving to require less clics. "Grind X" is simply following that point. It doesn't makes the Ectoing cheaper. You still need the bones/buckets to grind. You won't bury the bones with a wrong clic and that will make you save some precious bones. That the only advantage but it doesn't change the skill itself. It doesn't make it faster. As for other "Make X" you often could be faster with manual making with some attention and stress. What it makes ? It saves your arms, wrist, nerves by the clic spared. And that has a sense. Being in the same position and doing the same movements a long time isn't healthy. The short rest time it brings added to less repetition is good for the player. You can calculate the clics it saves for a 30-99 prayer at ecto... no comments required. in conclusion : - it saves the extra bones you burried by mistakes : not related to the skill and can makes it more attractive. - it is not faster - it saves a (small) health on your hands - it won't replace the speed of poh altars and the process keeps its nature of being the most rewarding xp per bones.
  19. until i went f2p in jully, I used to summon a Spirit Cobra to turn my colored eggs into specific cockatrice eggs with Ophidian incubation scrolls. The process was fast : - put scrolls + eggs into inventory - select summoning tab + clic on scroll activation button interface auto turn into inventory then clic the egg you want to use the scroll on and the scroll animation start. repeat until the familliar has no moves. Now things have changed : at a certain speed, when you clic the scroll activation button, it becomes selected and the item in your inventory under it too ! so when you clic an egg, the scroll don't activate anymore and you need to deselect both (activation button and item) and reddo. Maybe you can join me on it ? It is not a huge thing until you consider the time you loose. With everything being easier, that one became a nightmare. I submitted it to Jagex but i doubt they will solve it soon.

The answer is YES. Skill balance : doing highest and valuable is slow, doing mid range items gives few to no money but is fastest. The banking thing is consuming time in you process... maybe somthing you can work on ?
  21. You told you continued playing with lagg and cut your bank pin... I know it's late, but I do think you should have done exactly the opposite. Lagg for a long time (over few minutes) is a sign your bandwith is used for anything else. For me it's time for pin change (at least) and a computer check for spywares and so. Of course regular bank pin and pass changes helps too. Over all this, a good computer organisation (separated disk partitions for OS, softwares and datas) allow you so reddo your setup (format+reinstall from fresh) without loosing any docs and params within a couple of hours. I do this each time things goes wrong. Btw, your attitude is really great !
  22. I'm ok with Bandos armour. Add 68 summoning to bring bunyip and you have a guthan++ that don't need to be repaired. It is known you'll 'loose' some cash but your kills should bring it back. I personnaly sold my dragon set and added some gp a winner change !
  23. 3rd : falador west bank + sink 2nd (ex aequo) : lumby castle basement RFD chest 1st : nietiznot geiser just out of bank (also 1 clic chest) and same screen too
  24. i use baileydafrog's way with sucess : range & anti fire pots + pray pot + sharks range gear + dfs stand in melee area with mele protect on you dont get hit with melee, and few with rest. 1st half with ruby then diamonds are a good option At 85 range i manage up to 6 kills a trip.
  25. Superheated mith bars out of mining guild... and sold in bulk at faly bank Fish lobs for cash on noob.
