After about 20 trips in wild (from edge to the northern sea shore) because of treasure trails i never meet anyone by my own. The 2 only i crossed were when ppl did something they made them standing there a time : hunting green drags, mining... And those 2 attacked me as i entered they sight. ie : runite mining for F2P is now a nightmare. 5 Minutes there and the ork comes... And you don't have many chances.

Have you thought about both runner and crafter could both balance the 3k cap with light and noted ? That could be a way to continue... and would also creat a market for surch an item.

Can you simply be patient ? Get the required cmb levels, be a mere herblorist (and farmer) to assume your pots (both prayer and antifire). Read the guide and test it. It is goes, you are ok and that is nice. If not ? Continue training and be back later. But best advice : there is no urge to be able to camp there. Once you'll be able, you will do it well and for the best (drops). Until then, use the power of Guthan to train yourself. Honestly i used slayer for combat (with Guthan ftw), while farming/herbloring. Those 3 brought me enough goods to camp there 30 hours non stop protected from both fire/melee. And this for free !!! All drops will be 100% cash incomes. Moreover, this patience also allowed me to be able to come here stronger... and then more effective. That is a reward also to be considered. Hope you'll understand.

Wilderness is still dangerous without the PKers... especially deep one. The long range of the revenants magic and their power makes it very dangerous.

LOL I hosted a long time programmed wildy mining event last night. The purpose was to team mine there without the fear of pkers due to the general team levels... but as pking is now limited in minigames... So we come to hobs and start mining. I was used to have mage protection outfit, little food, rapid tele and prayer in wild just in case... Then came 1st Wherewolf reventant, not on me and start fighting my friend. After a while, it changed of target on me : LOL The fight is nice and its hard to kill as it heals : Being 106 + 70 prayer helps. We continue, still laughing and then comes a stronger one : Ork. This one, nobody did sw him come : only the mage attack... As we watch the fight another comes on me but i left ressources in last fight... Was time to Die. Death in new wild is lol : you rush back to bank, tele Edge, and rush to your gravestone : there you find back your items and can destroy it.

I respect the veterans of us, their sight and the spirit they put in the game. I'm very admirative on this part of our group (of players). That is why i also tend to play more and more friendly even if it was becoming rare. But let be honest. Things were going worse and worse. The way runescape was designed to be used has been altered in many ways along the passed monthes (years ?). Those alterations borned from the freedom left to the players to use this design. Each merchant, pures, stalkers were using only a mastered part of the game. As it stayed in the game, there was no issues and no needs to change, and it remained tolerated. But this alteration overpassed the simple gaming : it went into Real World ! RWTers, as good workers, exploited every possible holes to produce Real money from the game. 1/ Why ? There were 'alterated' enough players to pay IRL cash for pixel coins. Who honestly can create a game, make a business on it to make it viable and accept it ? who ? 2/ Runescape is (was) a game. The fee to be a member is here to make the game a working business. The reward is that you are able to use the game easier and with more pleasure. When the alteration hit the business that enable the game : a decision have to be taken. That is why i aggree with Gidion : And what if they lose eveything ? You do too (the game part of course) ! And what then : you let RWT win the match ? Yes atm, many many players have left. I completely understand the 'alterated' ones who used the game in the wrong way. Their loss is a matter we will be able to face. They were noumerous ? does it matter ? Many of them also were making the game less and less friendly. I can understand newcomers and young players who went in during the 'alterated' times and thought it was the normal way of playing. But i can't understand the veterans and adults with a sight... Jagex moved and changed the game, bringing us back to the 'good old days' those veterans have known and loved. It was also the time the sharing spirit did born to face the rude game Runescape is in essence. Since Jagex is still monitored by the same persons (and spirit), is it possible to let them a chance to find a way to restore the big lose of those updates (the friendly trades) ? Reading forum for ideas, and using their own possibilities can, i'm sure, bring a viable solution. The CUT have been made with a wrong direction the game was taking... Let us see how Jagex will fight this goal : keep the RWT away and the friendly trade in. From this depend the 'new way of playing RS' : Solo or team...

Dear qeltar. If sometimes i'm not sahring your entire and details view, i do for this one. From that time i was almost repported, i live in a sort of fear on those wanabee Mods. It would have been a good joke if it wasn't true. I was training mage through alching i bought from a friend of mine. This way we both could train different skills and make a good amount of xp without minding part of our training. And big alching sessions can easy take hours. Doing it in Edge was fine but i was disturbed buy the crowd and the trade oppotunities. That brought me in Shilo bank. This place is quiet with only fishers, few gem miners and running slayers. At some times we a meet treasure trail hunter and see a little fight against double agent. I was here for a long time, in a 'clic every second' + watch TV tip that alching require, Irc OFF and without looking on main chat. I just kept some sounds on to keep track on the process rythm. Suddendly i got woke up by a movement on the screen. It was another player creaming arround me bad words including macro/bot ans so... I checked up the chat to see my 'fault' was to have not answered his question. As he talked he was repporting me, he put me in dark anger ! I simply answered him : "Have you ever seen a 101 (cmb lvl at this time) bot alching here with lava bstaff, boots of ligthness, spottier cape ? Go check overall before using repport system and boring jagex..." He went away, no excuses, no nothing. If i tend to play friendly most of the time with players from any levels, i now admit to 'hide' while making surch tasks. I wonder rs players calm down and start being wise on bots before auto proclaming Mod.

Runescape is ruled by a simple suppreme law in skilling if that is what we are talking about here. The fastest you skill the less you make profit. It is ruling every skills except high hunting. To the limit you cans also lose pixel money to be at fastest. Those are know as buyable skills. Now new player have no other choice to learn... and then use the 'old' way to do. The more powerfull to player is, the faster he is. Then he can choose to go for profit or for experience. A good way to get satisfied is a nice balance of both. Power training to get faster that levels that make you able to get profit fast then getting the fruit of your effort and sparing money for the next skill...

True ! That is the only point i wanted to ear : getting double nats from simple nats crafter would have been a pain : 30k xp represent a nice amount of nats ! As a conclusion, helping with trade was rare because of the scam risk... now that it is away, you can see beggars in every hot skilling spots getting their items for free from assist system as it doesn't include any cash trade... That part is a pain as the high level is only rewarded with xp but not really need it (30k a day is not that much). One small thing that should be set in the system : requester should be able to stop the assist in order to free the helper. This would save much unused time and messages.

AGILITY ! FTW ! The longer you run, the fastest you skill. It is definetly a cheap skill to train. Of course mixed with herlbore agility and (s) energy pots, you will be faster.

Ingame : Be persistant. Always keep calm. Keep yourself prepared and organised. Stick to your objectives. Ignore the boring people. Help your friends and the people that are pleasant. IRL : Same, and play RS just enough to keep you having friends.

10 M is not that fast to make ! During this work, Stick to your objective ! Never spend any coin that won't you give you more. Don't invest in anything else... And stay focused !

In addition, i would tell you to lvlup cmb and especially Defence over the RC pker population level. Using abyss was fine for me when i was bellow them (70-73) and is also now (100+). But At low combat, you have to face the abyss monsters. A solution is to rapid clic the exit you choose. Durung your attempt, monsters don't hit ! Between 75-100 i almost did not runecrafted because of the Pkers. I also used duels instead of glory, adding a small step because of the banking in CW, tele Edge, Banking Edge... This way i was laughing at their faces, using fairy abyss to get pouches back if needed.

For who can do it crafting Deaths is a two target way : - 1 death = 2 chaoses = 18 tokkul - 1 Death rc xp > 2 Chaoses rc xp at 74+ RC I used this to get motivation for reaching 75 RC ! Please note that now, selling items at strore keep the same price whatever the player stock is ! Fury rock !

I'd like to say so but some very are ones are still effective : i was TBed and entagled before i could do anything : cost = 1 glory. But it was the only one for monthes : good job pker ! I was back in no time to get my pouches/pess and stuff back... with some more sharks. For the most rc pkers, i've jumped over their average cmb lvl and have too many HPs to be an easy target. Moreover, home tab definetly makes the difference and high def help survive to abyss without any HP loss.

With the new 'repport all' vogue, i wouldn't AFK in surch days ! Would be the best way to lose you account. Try TV (not to loud to here your axe), music,...

Except dust devils and main mage monsters. So does dragons. Depend on your level, Guthan is high def and heal but you have to stick on monsters you can own ! Fire giants, Demons (all sort of), Giant Squeletons, kalphytes, dagganothes....

Dear Sir_Squal0, After some work and an errors you are back to zero. Now there are 2 ways for you : - You are dumb and quit. But you will do it again and quit again, even IRL. Or, you are getting a mature boy who learn assume. Instead of loosing energy in rant, go read guides and start making the money back. Don't make the mistake becoming a beggar. Start the strong working time and focus on it. Keep in mind you have to pay for the errors you made (not tele in time, all your valuable on you...) so be humble and work. You can look for jobs that only need to run for some first gps (i have). Then you will pay yourself the material to extract items (pikaxe, axe). Selling row/mid/transformed materials will give you more money. Having friends that trust you is of course helpfull, if they need you to work for them. Then you will be back : stronger, avised and proud of what you have done. ps : leave the combat things until you can afford it and never put all your eggs in same basket again.

Generaly : once you did the emotes, if a double agent attack you, you can switch to combat gear. And think to activate prayer before emote if you don't think you'll be able to get him easy.

... and be patient... this spell is worth it in many other situations.
