He Usually gets the kills.......now what?? Oh I know.. it's ridiculous. :( Congrats BTW. Sell it before the Gestapo takes over. :( It's all mine baby :P But yes, it is quite ridiculous....

  3. What the [bleep].....how the hell do they expct us to split freaking drops. Who the hell wants to go on a team to any boss knowing the only way for them to make monet now is to not only be lucky enough to get a drop, but to also be lucky enough that it is there owen god damn drop. Then where does this leave everyone else??
  4. Nice slayer level. I like the pictures :P Nice sig as well.
  5. Pick me! dk, kq, gwd....I have gotten very expierenced while you were gone :P Best way to get a dfh is to kill around 10 a day. I got a visage that way, and I know 3 friends that got dfh doing that.
  6. Soon to be 175 levels to go :P Grats on the mine level. Nice stats as well. 8-)
  7. Very nice, but I have to ask, what did you think of my cooking exp I got yesterday? :P
  8. Staking was destroyed because rich stakers would sell their massive winnings for real world cash. Unless I reead the first part wrong, you thought they used it as a way to trade. Yes, RWT is hard to get rid of. I really think the only way to have a nice impact is to crack down hard on the players that buy gps, and develop a much better system of finding and tracking real world trades. A better system of detecting bots and farmers is also needed. There are thousands of bots with over 13m fishing, woodcutting, and runecrafting exp. There was a ruencrafting bot with 16m exp in rcing. I reported it every day for 2 weeks. Finally it was banned yesterday.
  9. There are hundreds of them. Around level 66 combat, high rc with level 60 theif and agility. I saw one the other day with 15m rc exp. Just look at the official forums, there are usually 8-10 people selling over 200k nats at a time. That never happend a few months ago. Nats are about 275 ea now and p ess bots have doubled. They destroyed Dragon hide prices, now they need to move on to a new skill. Have fun watching rc get killed like crafting did for me.
  10. Well I was feeling a bit cold and wanted a few fires lit to help warm the place up. /bad joke
  11. I dk a few times a week, and visit bandos a few times a week as well. If you ever want a partner, feel free to pm me :P
  12. knowing your past miss deeds, I have my doubts that this is real. If it is real, 2/10.
  13. I am not sure, I think long bows can shoot farther? My goal here is longest distance, with magic or ranged.
  14. What weapon/spell can shoot the longest distance? Thanks, Artemis edit-added /spell
  15. I saw you selling it in w2. Thought you got it from a drop, you still had all the gear on :P Grats.
  16. That's where you're mistaken. Jagex can create rares with the snap of a finger. Their current rarity is artificially induced. I can't make sense out of that. Sure Jagex can create more rares, but they are not and will not. I just don't really understand what your statement meant. That can change. And if they are serious about getting the money corruption out of the game, it must. I cannot see how eliminating rares from the game would be helpful. Rares are a fun item, used to show wealth and to decorate your character. They are items people set as goals to one day buy. I doubt most rare owners got their rare by real world item trading. And with the new duel arena update, it seems Jagex is moving to stop the few that do it illegally. They are not trying to get rid of them all together, as that would be horrible for the game and its paying members. There are many MORE who have resorted to unsavory actions in the pursuit of rares, because rares cost more than getting high skills, with very few exceptions. Trying to "get a phat" is a leading cause of the scamming, cheating and RWT problems of Runescape. I doubt that as well. The leading cause of scamming, cheating, and RWT is do gain wealth in general. Party hats are just a way to then show that wealth. Eliminate party ahts and there will still be the same amount of players scamming, cheating, and RWT to gain cash. Most of these "unsavory" players are weeded out. Learning to deal with scams, cheats, etc. is all part of the game, for good or bad. Without some danger and adventure, Runescape would be another form of solitare.
  17. Being a "symbol of wealth" doesn't change the fact that Burger King hats are useless -- i.e., have no use. And they don't. They are not a sign of long term play, for reasons known to everyone. Because something cannot be used to bash a monster, heal a player, protect a player, be used to turn raw material to product, etc. does not mean it has no use. There is physical use, then there is symbolic use, emotional use, etc. They are symbols of long term play. I do not know ANYONE that owns a rare or party hat that started playing yesterday, 6 months ago, or a year ago. I would bet it is safe to say that most rare and party hat owners have played for at least 2 years, and a great deal of them for 3-4 at least. Not all, but the majority of owners. Ah, but see, here's the rub. This "storing GP" thing is at the heart of the matter. If you buy something useless that's worth millions because you want to use it as an "investment" then you should be prepared that sometimes investments lose value. Ok, I said nothing to contradict this, other then point out that because something is useless to you does not mean it is useless to everyone. They "look awesome"? They are silly little paper hats, like the ones you get from Burger King. They are only "adored" by people because of the cult following that has built up over their rarity. If they weren't discontinued, people would laugh at anyone who wore one. I would say most Runescapers do think party hats look good. Oh look, the most recent poll from jagex confirms that most players like party hats! Don't believe me? Then just log in and check yourself. Yes, most people probably like party hats and other discontinued items because they are rare. That gives them more purpose and value. In real life Diamond jewlery has no physical use. But, as with rares in game, it shows wealth, it shows that the item was worked for for a long period of time. Diamonds are rare, that gives them value, and I suppose a "cult following". Same with in game rares. Yes, because of a combination of brainwashing, a need to show off, and a desire to "keep up with the Joneses". It's all groupthink phenomena. Brainwashing? I don't think so. A want to show off? Of course! You contradict yourself there as well. You say that rares of no use, yet you also say they serve as a way to show off. That seems like a use to me. And yes, they are ways to show off. That is one of the things that give them value. This happens with useful game items all the time. Seen the price of a d square lately? I fail to see your point. Then read it again. I think you just don't want to see my point. Why are dragon squares so low? Because there are better items out there. Obby shields have slightly worse defense stats, yet it has a 5 strenght bonus and costs 400k gps less. Rune defenders are free and have defense satats and attack stats, with the 5 strength bonus. Then ther eare Dragon fire shields, the best shields in the game for defence and strength bonus, even though they are much more exspensive then the dragon sq.
  18. Seems like phat prices are more affected than any other rares out there then? Sure, because they are the most over-inflated of the useless items in the market. Thus, they are the ones most at risk of "correction". Party hats are not useless. THey are symbols of wealth, long term playing, etc. They are goals set and acheived by thousands of palyers. They are ways to "store" gps. They look awesome. There are many uses for rares. Everyone understands taht you do not like them and think they are useless, and that is fine. But understand also that there are thousands of players that DO like rares. Let's say, for example, that I do not like third age armour. Barrows has close to the same stats, if not better, and cost much less. I think third age armour needs a "correction" in price. It is useless, as there is armour that is better and cost less. Third age armour needs to be fixed.
  19. I have to agree. Just go to any f2p world, varrock west. That is where all the real world traders meet and trade. It is the best place to report them as well. I never even knew people real world traded at the duel arena on a daily basis.
  20. That will not last.....
  21. Holy hell. Even I, not being a stacker, would ahve to say this is hoorible. I highly doubt, and hope, it will last.......
