  1. [hide=quote] I also have picture proof of a mod abusing powers. Luckily this mod is not a tip.it crewbie or tip.it mod. I sent it to lightning, 5-6 days later it still has not even been read... As far as kicking by mistake goes, when you try to kick a player, you right click their name and select "kick". Next time, take an extra 1-2 seconds to read the name before selecting kick  [/hide] For the time being, I don't see tip.it as having anything to do with this chat. Tip.its staff does a great job, and has little invlovement (if any) with the chat. This is another reason the chat needs to be in the hands of tip.it, so players do not confuse bad things with the chat with tip.it when as of now, they should not. As the chat is endorsed by tip.it, the chat reflects back on tip.it. The best way I see to solve the mod problem would be to only allow tip.it crewbies or mods to be a mod on the chat. An abusive tip.it volunteer/staff has more to lose then an everyday user. Overtime, non tip.it staff could be made chat mods when proven responsible users.

  3. Keep it for a little while. If you still find yourself useing it, keep it. If you rarely use it, sell it. You may still want to keep the legs and body, depends if you have other armour or not.
  4. What is the exp per hour of theiving knights? I know it increases with level, so an average is fine. If i get 99 theiving, i'll most likely do this most of the time, and a small amount of pp. I like this option over pp as it is easier to just blast through mindlessly :P
  5. bank at varrock west bank. Tele to varrock center, then burn a full load of logs back to the west bank.
  6. hunter is 100k an hour with red chins.
  7. [hide=blah blah blah] [/hide] quote me to see how :P
  8. I realize that most of the mods are responsible and mature. But there are a few that either do not recognize or know how to do their job, or just take advantage of lightnings inactive status. That is what I have been saying, it would be a good idea. The way I see it, it would be best for tip.its most active admin/mod/representitive to create the account. As long as "tip.it" is not in the account name, it is allowed. Someone that plays a few hours everyday, so the mule account can have names added and removed. I asked Jagex for permission to share an account for a different account, to allow better acess for adding/removing names, but it was declined. (not surpriseing :( ) Turns out that you cannot kick from the chat area though, my mistake. However, the account that owns the chat can add them to ignore that way. Once a player is on the ignore list of the owner account(in this case the mule) that palyer can not enter the chat. This is yet another reason the chat needs to be in the hands of an active player- New Mods can be added The few immature mods can be removed Spammers can be kicked Repeat spammers can be banned A firm set of rules can be set and inforced Edit- as I log on, rsw44 starts spaming. If the account that owned the chat was active, he could have been banned days ago. All the more reason to change the chat over to an active player. Then, as I am writing this, another account created to spam gets on the chat. For now, I wuld just tell players in the chat to add these spammers to their ignore list, as I told people in the chat. That way they cannot see the spammer at all.
  9. No it is not. Players can be kicked right from the chat bar, or from the clan channel menu. I think the mods with the ability to kick, and set the rules, are simply abusing their power. They know lightning is inactive, and think they can get away with it. They shrug it off as "oops, I meant to kick the other guy, sorry" Then, when they do it and do not receive any consequences, it reinforces the thought of "this is ok, I can get away with it". I would really like to see an official tip.it chat, to get rid of these problems.
  10. My experiences with the chat have all been bad. It is run by irresponsible and immature players. I have witnessed players in the chat be kicked for no reason, me included. I have read on this very thread of it as well. The spam/flame/rule breaking that takes place, large or small, should not even be worth talking about. Like IRC, it should have mods watching it at all hours. Part of the entire problem is the chat is in the hands of a player that quit the game, whether temporarily or permanently. She created the chat, then quit shortly after. It is nice that she tries to keep up on it, but a majority of the problems with the chat would not exist if an active, responsible player owned the account for the chat. Adding spammers/flamers to the ignore list, removing some of the irresponsible mods with kick abilities, adding new mods, etc. I have nothing against lightning, but I find it foolish on her part to create a chat for something as large as tip.it, and to then quit soon after. I recognize that she has done more then almost anyone for tip.it, and has been around since the near beginning. But she has left/taken a break, and the chat needs to be in the hands of a player that will stay up to date on it. It is great that she created it, but it needs to be maintained. She is not doing that.
  11. My point exactly...... :P Both of those are great ideas, I really like them. Thanks for re-explaining them :) . I do not understand programing, I was just throwing ideas out there. I do like yours much better though, makes a lot of sense.
  12. I agree, but I do not think Jagex should raise the 99 cap yet or any time soon. The 99 cap is one of the most important parts of the game. Besides, there are 1m(?) members, 6m(?) f2pers, and only 28 have the max skill total. Just 15500 have 99 hp, which seems like alot, but not when compared to the total number of players. Jagex could halve the hp damage of each hit. Instead of hitting 1, you hit .5. There are many possible answers though. I still think 1000+ level monsters are over kill. There is something too....game boysih about it, not sure what it is. I just don't like the sound of it. Edit- And I REALLY do not like the idea of losing exp when you die. Losing items is a nice penalty, even though Jagex is making it easier and easier to regain items (rol, 1min item spawn, instant teles, etc). At least with gwd, you need a 40 kc to go back in, so your items are gone if soloing.
  13. The monsters that exist need to be stronger first. How can a level 104(me) solo the level 695 zammy boss, and entire room, twice in one trip. I have even killed the 695 without useing any food (rare, but it happens). Sure, players have prayer, food, and pots. I still feel the monsters that exist now should have been made stronger. I do not think Jagex should update them, it is a bit too late for that. Looking at it from a combat stats point of view, level 695 monters should have 200+ def, att, and str? If a player had those stats, he/she would be far stronger then the current monsters. At level 104, I would never try to pk a level 120+ player. I would not stand a chance. Yet I can kill the kq, god wars bosses, kbd, dks, etc. It is pretty unbalanced.
  14. The skill set- Hmmm, attack, strength, defence, hitpoints, etc all seem to be part of the skill set. Combat is skill as well, I agree with smither. Good goals to start off are all quests complete, or all skills 60+. Both are not hard, and they open you to each skill. Have fun :)
  15. Ok, but Jagex will down play its rules to that age group anyway.....
  16. Fire strike at pc. You still gain money overall, from the money gained after winning rounds. Alching is faster then fire bolt at iron/steels. enchanting is faster then alching. I think pc is fastest of those methods, not certain though. I'll look into it a bit.
  17. Thanks. Any good tips for bandos and armadyl? Bandos you use veracs, right? What else? Where do I stand? What invo should I take, same as zammy? What bolts for armadyl?
  18. :ohnoes: Should we start donating cannon balls? I'll donate if you go for 99 slayer untrimmed :P
  19. Use the ramdas note on a jungle forester, they will want a copy, request something in exchange for a copy of the notes. They then give you a bull roarer. Make sure you drop a few and get extras for bank savers
  20. I have soloed the zammy boss easily, and can get 1-3 kills of each boss a trip, usually 2. If I go with my level 105 partner, we can get 6+ easily. My question is- what other boss rooms are easy enough to solo/do with a 2 man team? Our combats are 104 and 105. I think bandos is now to hard for solo/low combats? Armadyl may be possible, and I think sara should be easy enough. Can anyone with expierence give me some advice on what other bosses I can solo/do with a 2 man team at this combat level? Thanks, Artemis
  21. Thanks to your guide, I can easily solo 1-2 zammy boss rooms a trip. :D Only 104 combat to lol. thanks again.
  22. Same, it works nicely.
  23. Agreed, magic is fine. It is probably the MOST used of the combat skills in the game due to ancients and high alchiing. It has regular spells, ancients, and lunar. It has many armour sets, is used at barrows, pking, dk, and high alching. It can freeze, hit 32s, poison, and heal. Tele other and tele group, etc. I can go on and on...... Ags is 150+m
